You can definitely relieve the fatigue of trekking in the main area by swimming in the hotel... The location is a bit out of the way, but the price is cheap and the breakfast is good.
I would say lack of customer service. Although the staff were warm & welcoming ( without smile from reception ). The service want to point out is on information & communication regarding an in house service of dinner buffet, which was failed to be mentioned on being seated at the restaurant or at reception.
We made a temporary reservation because of snow and road closures. We booked a family room, which was the best room with a king bed. The hotel felt very deserted. The floors were generally closed and seemed to be under renovation. I had to leave early the next morning, so I left my room card at the front desk. I left without breakfast
The hotel room itself was honestly quite mediocre. Both the room and the bathroom were tiny. We paid over 2000 (and even upgraded to a mountain-view room!), yet the facilities definitely didn't justify the price. However, what truly makes this hotel special (and pricey) is its absolutely stunning view. You get an unobstructed, panoramic vista of the mountains opposite, and you can even spot the church on the hilltop. Especially as evening descends, dining and chatting at the outdoor restaurant was incredibly comfortable. What's more, the restaurant was surprisingly affordable and delicious. This was particularly evident because earlier we had tried sushi from a shop outside the hotel, which was both overpriced and awful. Suddenly, the hotel's food tasted heavenly! My son even ”cried tears of joy” over his burger.
Stayed for the second time, the most convenient hotel in the snow field, there are people cleaning every day, Gudori is better, after all, most of them are apartments, this hotel has a good sense of service. The door is the snow road, the night scene is also at the door, very convenient, super recommended
Hotel was good. Room was quite warm. Breakfast was also good. We were 10 people and we had lots of bags, so one of the staff person helped us as well, I don’t know his name though. Overall good experience.
Very, very perfect hotel. It is also a very, very new hotel. No one has ever stayed in room 201 before we stayed. The room is very, very clean, and the bedding and quilts are very good. You can see Mount Kazbek from the balcony of each room. It is really lucky to find this hotel. The homestays opposite Mount Kazbek are basically on a hillside. The old-fashioned online celebrity hotel rooms that I wanted to book are at the top of the hillside. But the higher you live, the farther you are from the city, which is not very convenient, and I think the location of the room is relatively biased. This hotel is located at 2/3 of the hillside, which is enough for you to see all the scenery of Kazbek without any obstruction, and it is not too far from the city center, and you can walk there. The room is also larger than the Room and is equipped with a drying radiator. If I have to say a problem, it is that this hotel is newly opened and its location has not been updated on the map. You can call the hotel before going. The hotel's housekeeper is very, very enthusiastic. Every time I go downstairs, he will take the initiative to greet me and ask about my needs. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. In short, it is a very cost-effective choice.
It wasn’t a bad hotel but with this price of staying I could find a nicer hotel. Facilities were quite old. Our bed was not in a good condition. The floor made of wood which make a lot of noise while walking. I can foot steps of hotel guests every time. However The view from the room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.

Very Good
📞Booking and Room Configuration The first disappointment was the difficulty we faced in choosing the right room configuration for our large group. For international travelers, it is quite inconvenient that the hotel can only be reached by phone if you need to book quickly. 🧖♀️Room Quality & Spa The cleanliness of the rooms is good. However, the bathrobes were in poor condition, and the slippers were very thin. When they got wet on our way to the outdoor pool, the spa staff refused to provide us with a fresh pair. I highly recommend bringing your own pool shoes. 🍽️Dining The breakfast here is truly excellent! However, the restaurant is overpriced for lunch and dinner, and the quality of the food is inconsistent—not everything was tasty. 🎿🏨Staff and Service The hotel’s rental shop was poorly stocked and almost out of equipment. We also had a very unpleasant experience with a lobby employee named Ani. Despite bottled water being complimentary during room cleaning, she refused to give us a bottle when we asked. Later, another staff member provided the water without any issues. This encounter felt extremely unprofessional and left a bad impression. ⛷️Location of the hotel is perfect for skiers. Lockers, ski-in/ski-out access everything is convenient and well-thought there.
5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM. However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed.
The room are clean. Nice friendly front desk. If you are going to take the 930 free transportation up to the ski place, please be early than 930, they actually left around 915, even the front desk told you it’s 930. Or else you gotta wait for the 1030. We ended up walk up. Not too far, 15 mins 20 mins walk. Without the ski equipment is ok, just imagine you need to bring all the equipment up there. Plenty of steep slopes. The breakfast is super good for me. I don’t understand why others commented that it’s not good. Why so picky. It’s better than any hotels I stayed. If you think you are better than others, just don’t stay, go ritz Carlton then… Anyway. Nice hotel.
AAvp21The location is perfect with the best view of Kazbegi and Gergeti off in the distance. The host was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Very clean and spacious room. Near to restaurant and Kazbegi town. Awesome view of mountain from our room. The host is friendly and give good information about local transport. We have a pleasant stay in Axien Hotel and I recommended the hotel.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The view from the window was stunning. All the amenities were provided as promised, and everything was in excellent condition. The toiletries were clean and neatly arranged, which made the stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and hassle-free stay.
