Nnatasha6792Fabulous stay at the Best Western Carlton in Blackpool. The staff could not have done more to help, and the lady on the front desk was so friendly and chatty. They helped immediately when they realised I had a pram, toddler and 2 bags and was alone - even changing our room to make things easier. Lovely people!
Only downside was the thin walls, meaning we could hear every word of the 4am argument in the room next door!!

TTheBeacholaEditBathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and had no toilet roll or towels in. Tv didn’t work on the wifi or normal tv channels. There looks like there has been a leak and chunks of concrete were loose under the window-ledge.
The positives were the Sea view and tower view from the room and the power in the shower was great. The room did also have a fan, an Iron and board, safe and hair dryer.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was fine for £7 and you could park until midnight on the day of check-out.
The room in general was dated and in need of an uplift, but it was ok for a base for 1 night.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are very complete, with a refrigerator, ironing board, tableware, induction cooker, pots, etc. There are many snacks and coffee that you can make yourself. There is room service every day. At the end of the check-out, you just need to return the key to the key box. There are many places to eat nearby. There is a very good hamburger restaurant very close by.

GGuest UserWe visited this place with friends, 5 of us, and got a great service for 5 people in 2 different rooms. We shared one toilet. We paid 118 quids for service which is quite nice for 5 people staying for a night. As we were visiting the Blackpool pleasure beach and carrying backpacks would have been difficult so we requested the hotel staff to keep our luggage while we checked out and were gone out for the entire day, and thankfully they agreed. All in all I loved the overall service, highly commendable.

GGuest Useromg from the moment I walked in i was attended to nothing was to much trouble i had a sea view double room there was a act on downstairs very loud was worried about the house but never heard a thing the decor is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and yhe feel of the hotel made up for that I had a fantastic stay it does just what it says on the tin I will definitely be goung back

GGuest UserThe Norbrek Castle must have been lavish and upmarket in it's day but sadly looks sad and depressed now. However, we knew this when we booked and opted for it because of it's good points, the location is good with bus and tram stops outside, there is plenty of parking with an assured chance of finding a space if you take the car out and return, the room was as clean as it is possible to clean an old property with clean bedding and towels, the breakfast is basic but again satisfactory and the staff helpful and friendly. We did not, on this occasion use the pool or any of the entertainment facilities. All in all an ok choice for a couple of nights as somewhere simply to sleep

PPippa40Excellent breakfast and evening meal in the Palm court restaurant. Staff very pleasant. Evening entertainment every night. Great location with tram station right outside. Very good value for money for seaview superior room. Cheaper standard rooms need attention in regards to facilities and cleanliness but still good for price. Interesting historic hotel.
