My family have stayed here to visit me many times, and always choose to stay here. Extremely welcoming and friendly team. They always smile, remember our faces and interact with the kids which is brilliant. Special thanks and praise to Charlie who is great and remembered the kids, and always chats 😊 Often, the service industry receive complaints, but the public are less likely to praise. But it is well deserved here. I hope the team receive this feedback. 😊😊

Really nice and clean. Great beds. Plenty of room. Good shower. Perfect location. Polite staff. Value for money. Close to Warner Brothers and shopping centre. We only stayed a night and hardly touched down but it was great. I will always wonder why every hotel puts out just two teabags though 🤣

We have just come back from a 2 night stay. We chose this hotel as its a 30 minute drive from Wembley and wasn't expensive like the other hotels. We arrived 2 hours early for check in however the gentleman at reception checked us in no problem and gave us access to our room. Our room was a good size with a double bed and additional pull out sofa bed. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay such as an iron, kettle, hairdryer and towels. There was even a little sign in the bathroom letting us know if we had forgotten anything just let them know. Breakfast both days was lovely with plenty of choice. It did get busy towards the end but we were advised of this on check in. We didn't get back from Wembley till 3am this morning but after a quick email to reception at half 7, they sorted out late check out so we could have a bit more sleep before our 4.5 hour journey home. The staff here work so hard and it seemed to be the same 2 faces our entire 3 day stay. I honestly don't know how they do it and keep smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely return.

One night before a flight, small room but everything you need for an overnight stay, comfy big bed, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and mini fridge, we had a room at the rear of the hotel so quieter than the front, we would definitely stay again if we had an early flight.

Great hotel tucked away in the countryside within a reasonable distance to Stanstead- pool is good as is the new steam room - jacuzzi could he hotter

Family rooms and accessible rooms were brilliant. Beds were starting to show signs of needing to be changed but linen was crisp. Bathrooms were clean and showers were the best I've used in a hotel I some time. Customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much hassle. Definitely will use again if staying in the area again

Hotel is a bit dated but was okay Very noisy as close to M25 and in a very busy services Otherwise was fine

We stayed as part of the Harry Potter Studio Tour deal. It’s fantastic value! Parking is included in the package. Two adults and two children in one room. A double bed and a sofa bed (a bit springy but doable for one night). The hotel staff were really friendly. We booked to use the pool which was great. Breakfast was really fresh, plenty of options to choose from and well organised. We opted to go for dinner at The Plough which is a few minutes drive away and would also recommend eating there. A really good trip ☺️

Holiday Hotel

My line manager had booked the room for me as my IHG account wasn’t approved yet by my GM and I was greeted by Zahr if I spelt that right, I do apologise if I’ve spelt that wrong, he was very friendly, he did his job by trying to figure out if I was an employee of holiday inn, which he did his checks and my information had come back correct, I left earlier that night and come back and I was still greeted with a friendly welcome from him. It’s been a pleasure to stay with the holiday inn, my room was cleaned to perfection and I’ve had no issues, Zahr deserves to be employee of the month if that’s a thing here. I was attending a wedding talking place at the hotel. Everything worked well. The service and food throughout was excellent, and the room well appointed.

Very clean and cosy room. Spacious with high quality fittings on the shared bathroom. Definitely recommended for cheap overnight stay ready for Stansted departures!

We arrived late. Hotel called to check our arrival and explained to call before we arrived to be able to park on property. Staff were polite and helpful. Had to leave a £50 deposit, for additional charges, will refund what is not used. Just no details about thus on booking.

This hotel is right next to Watford Junction station - an easy walk round the corner. (Check on google maps and take the short cut rather than walk along main road). The hotel seems clean and modern. It is obviously very popular with people visiting WB studios (which is what we were doing). Stayed in a family room set up for 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 4). The beds for the children are the usual budget hotel foldaway types and not very sturdy but fine for one night. The room was generally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection (not as wide a selection as Premier Inn but fine for fueling up before heading off to WB). The WB shuttle bus goes from outside the station so a 3 min walk back to the bus stop. Overall a perfectly adequate and well located budget option for WB stay. We came on the train from across London. If we had come in the car I would have chosen something outside of the town centre. If you are travelling with kids and hoping to eat out in the evening after you get here (which we didn't) then you've got a bit of a walk back to the main part of town with the shopping centre and chain restaurants. The only annoying thing about the stay was the noise at night - and it had nothing to do with the railway! We were woken up by talking and doors banging in the corridor a couple of times. Whether or not it was because our room had a connecting door to another room I don't know but someone's alarm went off at 4.45am and it sounded like it was in our room. Whichever poor person had such an early start on a Friday then proceeded to get showered and dressed in a rather loud fashion and felt the need to constantly talk loudly to the rest of the people in that room. That's not the hotel's fault of course but bear in mind this is a budget hotel and the sound proofing is minimal.
