First time in Inner Mongolia, and I was lucky to have great weather. After dropping off my luggage, I watched the sunset from my hotel room. I highly recommend Shangri-La for anyone visiting from out of town. Qingcheng Park, right downstairs, is lovely for a walk, and the Inner Mongolia Museum is only about a 20-minute drive away, which isn't far at all. Although the hotel is a bit older, the overall facilities are solid, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. Special thanks to the wonderful young ladies at the front desk: Chen Yang and Jiao Jiao. My flight was delayed, and they kindly arranged a late check-out for me. So nice!

The room is clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable. The water supply is large and it is very comfortable to wash. Parking is convenient at the door. The service is super super super good. I upgraded the room type for free. After checking out, they also took the initiative to give bottled water and slippers for use on the road. This environment, this price, and this service are really worth it. I hope the price will not increase.

A very satisfactory hotel. The room is very large, with two beds of the same size. The bedding is very comfortable. It is rare to sleep so well in a hotel. There is a desk in the room, and the children are just in time to catch up on their homework. The bathing area is very spacious and the room is very warm, which is very comfortable when it is cold. The washbasin is very large, with all the toiletries available, and there is a footstool for the children, which is really convenient. The only small suggestion is that there is no clothesline in the shower room, which is a bit inconvenient. The minibar is also great, with coffee, green tea and black tea every day. Service: Super good, I asked the front desk to heat up the remaining food, and they agreed immediately. It was delivered to the room in a short while. There are people greeting you when you go in and out, and giving small gifts to the children. There are hair bands, mouthwash, glasses wipes and other small things at the front desk counter, which are available at any time. It is very convenient. Hygiene: The aunt cleans very cleanly. The location is good, located in Jining New District, and it is convenient to take a taxi.

The lobby is bright and spacious, offering freshly ground coffee, though the orange juice wasn't great. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided a clear room layout map. Our room came with earplugs, a humidifier, and individual AC control. However, the hotel does show some signs of age; there were some bulging spots on the wallpaper near the corners, the TV couldn't cast, and there seemed to be no smart home devices. Despite that, the overall environment was decent, the bed was comfortable, and the room was incredibly well-proportioned! I appreciated the large mirror in the bathroom and the full-length mirror. There's a mini-fridge, but even on the strongest setting, it didn't get very cold, so I ended up asking the front desk to store my food in their fridge on the first floor.
The hotel's location is very central, close to all the main attractions. It's just a short walk across a traffic light after exiting the subway. The General's Yamen is right across the street, which was very convenient for a quick visit on our last day.
The breakfast area was lovely! The weather was nice and the area was clean, with blue skies and white clouds. The revolving restaurant had good food, including piping hot milk tea and lamb offal soup. I highly recommend the watermelon – it was very fresh and sweet! The steamed dumplings and fried noodles were also decent, but the fried rice was the most disappointing. The shumai had a bit too much scallion and ginger for my taste, not as good as what you'd find elsewhere. There was only one noodle station, and I think they could benefit from adding more live cooking stations to enhance the experience. I ate my fill and felt fine afterwards, suggesting the ingredients were good, unlike a previous hotel in Shanghai where I got an upset stomach, likely from stale dumpling fillings.

The service at Wanda Vista Hohhot is absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly well taken care of. The concierge promptly greeted me and helped with my luggage, and the front desk efficiently handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. Housekeeping was super responsive, cleaned meticulously, and even thoughtfully prepared a bedtime drink and a small snack. Every staff member I encountered greeted me warmly, and if I ever needed anything, they were immediately there to assist. The entire stay was attentive and thoughtful. The hotel's ambiance is luxurious and elegant, the facilities are excellent, and the service truly enhances the whole experience, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It's definitely my top choice for a hotel in Hohhot!

It was a okay stay. 5 hours stay night. Bed was wide enough. I did not expect too much on Cleanliness. Cleanliness okay.
Close to airport.
Airport transfer and no fee
On the web they have car transportation without fee and no need to book. I was waiting for the car or bus. No vehicle arrived and we had to hire a cab to get the hotel.
Reach out to hotel to book transportation.
Thank you.
Five-star review, absolutely! The front desk staff were incredibly efficient and welcoming during check-in. The room was spotless, with no strange odors, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and all the facilities were complete and worked perfectly. The location is very convenient, with great amenities nearby, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations. It offers great value for money and is my top choice for business trips or travel. I'll definitely be staying here again!

We were driving back to Beijing and decided to stop for a night in Hohhot. We're a group of three adults and one child, so I specifically looked for a suite or a room with one king bed and two single beds. After searching countless options on different apps (maybe I just didn't use them right), this was the only place I found that had what we needed. The price was quite high, probably due to the National Day holiday, but we figured we'd just go with it. When we arrived and parked in the underground garage, I was shocked by the mosquitoes, the smell of the grease trap, and the overall environment – I've never seen anything like it. The lobby was bustling, almost like the entrance to a shopping mall. The room had an older style of hotel decor, which I'm fine with. Once inside, I realized it was actually two rooms connected by a secret door that had been opened, essentially making it one large room. I feel like this should have been mentioned when I booked or at check-in. Also, the king-sized room had hot water for showering, but the twin room didn't have any hot water for a long time, though it was back in the morning. The breakfast was decent. Overall, it was okay; it's definitely a hotel in a bustling area with plenty of food and amenities right outside.

Our trip to Inner Mongolia this time was a huge success, and this hotel was a delightful surprise. We received welcome gifts upon check-in, along with complimentary fruit and a sweet little card 😊. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and answered all our questions with a great attitude 👍. The hotel itself is very photogenic, with a comfortable blend of Mongolian and French design. The facilities are excellent, including a free laundry room and a gym, and the breakfast spread is fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options like roasted lamb leg, Buryat dumplings, and 'guochatea' (pot tea). In fact, the hotel's Buryat dumplings are even better than those found in outside restaurants 😋. The location is also superb; we had beautiful views of the Yimin River and snow scenery right from our window. It's also super convenient, being only about a 10-minute drive to the train station. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Hailar! 👍👍👍

GGuest UserThe hotel is about 4 kilometers away from the highway. The hotel is very convenient for parking and dining. There is a gas station more than 100 meters away from the hotel, so it is a good choice to take a break as a self-driving tour. In addition, hotel services and facilities are also good.
GGuest UserBuilding 6 is still too old. Before I checked in, the staff said it hadn't been renovated in 20 years and that I could check out within half an hour. It was raining when I arrived that evening, so I didn't bother. To save my elderly family from having to climb stairs, I stayed on the first floor. The whole room was damp. The paintings on the wall were clearly carefully designed 20 years ago. The room even had a bathtub, giving it the air of a 5-star hotel, but it was so old that the paintings were falling out of their frames. They burn wormwood in the lobby, so I didn't see any cute beneficial insects in the room. I didn't see any room service in Building 6. The front desk is in Building 7, but I drove through the main gate that night and searched for a long time but didn't see any clear signs pointing me to Building 7 for check-in.

GGuest UserThis stay was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft, like sleeping on clouds. The mattress provided just the right amount of support, and with the excellent soundproofing from the double-glazed windows, I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a perfect wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply was ample and consistent. The branded toiletries were high quality, and the towels and bath sheets were thick and soft. Every corner of the room was spotlessly clean, and amenities like a smart TV, high-speed WiFi, and bedside charging ports were all readily available. The attention to detail truly impressed me.
BBaozi88888888The hotel location is convenient and near touristic sites. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is great and has tasty Mongolian milk tea and delicious Shaomai. The coffee machine at the reception is free of access and very tasty. A very nice stay, it is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, and next time I come to Hohhot I will here again for sure! 我很满意!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, just over 10 minutes' walk to Wanda, with many choices for food. Downstairs is the hotel's own parking lot 🅿, which is convenient for parking. The facilities of a newly opened hotel are relatively new, and there is almost no taste. There are many varieties of breakfast. The yam, sweet potato, and corn that I like are all gathered together. I can't eat too much. I cooked wontons and cooked half a portion. The kitchen lady also kindly told me how many half portions there were and asked if it was enough. ~ Good reviews ~ The laundry room is open all day without limit. The overall stay was not bad. I will book again next time
GGuest UserThe hotel experience is great! The room is spacious and bright, the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The key is that the whole house is smart, the experience is full, and it makes people feel good. It is near the square and there are many snacks around, which is very convenient!

RRuan Ming Jun (The Good King)Staying at Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort was one of the most heartwarming and memorable parts of my journey in Inner Mongolia.
The accommodations were clean, cozy, and perfect for the grassland atmosphere. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every service – from check-in to meals and daily activities. The resort provided everything I needed for a comfortable and immersive experience.
But what made this place stand out most was the hospitality of the host. The owner was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt at home – and that’s something you don’t find everywhere.
If you're looking for a genuine local experience, with both comfort and connection, I highly recommend this resort.
5/5 for service, accommodation, food, and especially the amazing host.
SShizimgThe room was clean and tidy, with a modern and minimalist decor. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, with both bus and subway stations within walking distance. The front desk staff had an excellent and patient service attitude. I'm a returning guest and highly recommend this place.
