AAnonymous UserAn unforgettable trip! Lake Louise is incredibly famous, and the shuttle to Moraine Lake (thank you, Trip.com, for helping with the booking) was great. Of course, this expensive hotel is made by its stunning environment. The tall, handsome, curly-haired young man at the front desk who checked us in was very polite and incredibly nice (apologies for not getting his name). The staff in the lobby were very friendly, proactively asking if we needed help, and we were able to check in early without a hitch. The lake-view room on the second floor (actually the third) was perfect. Although the room was a bit small, you could tell the hotel put thought into its layout and design, as we were able to fit two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch). All of this made for a pleasant stay. Even though conversations in the hallway could be heard clearly, it was still quiet at night with no excessive noise.
There are many hiking trails around, and a 2-day, 1-night stay allows you to fully explore Lake Louise.
The breakfast service on the second day was excellent, and there were even Chinese-speaking staff who warmly welcomed us.
If I had to mention any shortcomings, due to space constraints, the shower glass partition didn't have a door (I'm not sure if other rooms have partitions), and the hot water pressure was low, so you could only take a quick rinse.

GGuest UserThe place was very clean, including the towels. The size was great 👍 The bedding was excellent, the bed was very large, and the shower facilities were also fantastic.
However, there were several serious issues:
1. The renovation smell was very strong.
2. The heating in the room was constantly on, very noisy, and couldn’t be turned off, making it impossible to sleep.
3. Because the heating was always running, the bed became too hot to sleep comfortably.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Edmonton, within walking distance to attractions and public transport. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. I do, however, think the hotel is in need of a renovation to modernise it as the interiors and fixtures were outdated. The hotel could also help with the room doors as their opening and closing can be loud and disruptive if trying to sleep. For a next trip to Edmonton, I would stay again.

AAnonymous UserThe receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

AAnonymous UserThe stay was okay, we liked the pool and breakfast part. Some staff are just un approachable. The fire alarm went off at 2am (false alarm). Fire department arrived, We got worried and called the reception she answered dismissively “it will turn off soon please stay in your room!” It took 30-40 mins for the alarm to stop.

前前川高範The room was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect; there's a large supermarket right after crossing the railway crossing at the edge of the hotel's property, which was very convenient for shopping. The Roam bus stop for Banff was also only about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel staff, including the front desk, were all very friendly and helpful. It was a bit disappointing that the building felt a little old, but other than that, I had very few complaints. The Wi-Fi connected without any issues, and there were plenty of TV channels to enjoy movies. The view was also quite beautiful, and because it was so quiet, I actually preferred it to hotels in Banff.

GGuest UserIt was all good other then,... Even though I booked and paid for the motel. They would not give me the key to the second room as I had indicated my son's name on it, during booking. So when he showed up 2 hours later I had to pay another 100 damage deposit. Seemed rather interesting. I paid for it thru travel.com, why they didnt take the damage deposit right when I got there as I had booked the rooms for my family. Everything else was good.

GGuest UserService was fine, they gave us warm cookies upon arrival and check out. The pool and fitness rooms were clean, and the rooms were tidy, though they were a bit dark from lack of lighting.
A couple of things to note: the mattresses were extremely soft (even as someone who prefers soft mattresses), it felt like I was slowly sinking into the floor. The soundproofing is also quite weak, so I would recommend sleeping with earplugs or it may be hard to sleep with guests running around.
One more thing to note was that the balcony door was not locked when we checked in. Since we are on the 7th floor it was safe, however next time I would double check just in case, because there are many people visiting the hotel for functions and events.
