Firstly, there was a clear communication via email and whatsapp before departure. Appreciate that! It helped us clear our doubts and prepare the amount of money required for our trip. Secondly, it was easy to spot the rep at the seaplane check-in area. Then, there was a private transfer to the seaplane terminal. Everything was amazing! We landed in the middle of the sea and got picked up by the hotel's boat. It was another amazing experience for us to have flown on a seaplane and disembarked the plane in the middle of the sea. There was a simple and welcoming drum procession upon arrival from the jetty to the bar, where we were served a welcome drink and given a cold towel. Our host did her part in explaining everything to us and that was the last we saw her. She was nowhere seen or neither did she texted us to ask about our wellbeing throughout our stay there for 5 days. We requested to swap our excursion and she managed to do so for us. Then, there was no personal nor virtual communication. We saw other hosts checking on their guests during meal time and on whatsapp so this was rather disappointing. We took matters into our own hand by dealing with the reception directly for our request. We had our meals at the buffet restaurant. Most of the meals came with different selections of food daily so we weren't bored of the food there. The waiting staff and kitchen staff did a good job there! Most of them were beaming with smiles but evidently, they were more friendly towards the non-asian patrons, though we didn't really care because on the last day, we only tipped those who really served us 'sincerely'. The bartenders were especially friendly. The room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay, no complaints there! We saw the same housekeeping/luggage transfer guy checking on us twice daily with bright smile. Kudos to him! Overall, for what we paid, I can assure you that this is one of the best places I have ever been. No regrets!

This is probably one od the newest resorts in the Maldives opened only a few years ago so everything is new, clean and functional. I highly recommend getting a water villa for the full experience, the higher price is definitely worth it. All the villas are extremely spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are tiled in marble and are the size of a small apartment. The rooms are very comfortable and modern with stunning views. On the first morning we woke up to dolphins greeting us (not joking!). The island is obviously beautiful, with a lake in the middle of it and fantastic tropical vegetation. There is a plant nursery on the island where all plants are grown and once they reach the right size they are planted around the island by the expert gardening staff. Baby sharks and other beatiful fish are always around and you can see them all the time. What mad the experience very special was the hotel staff. Apart from being professio al and well trained, they all went out of their way to be super friendly and polite. Special thanks to Nadheem (aka Totti) and the rest of the Food and Beverage staff who made the experience extraordinary! I must also commend the owners of the hotel for the way they treat their staff. In a country where every square centimetre of land is a priceless commodity, the owners had a football pitch built for their staff, within their restricted area. They organised an interdepartment tournament with all the perks. Special kits (uniforms), commentary, scoreboard, everything. Some of the guests (including us) were invited to watch and it was a lot of fun. I have been to resorts around the world (including my own country) and I think this should be an example to all of them. No wonder the staff are friendly and professional when they are treated well and respected! To sum everything up, this resort is perfect for a romantic couples vacation and I highly recommend it! Definitely going back there at some point! I recommend the water villas facing south for the most beautiful views. Get the all inclusive package, it is worth it. You won't need your wallet (or shoes) during your whole stay. One friendly suggestion to the staff: the music in all venues is very repetitive and after a few days it gets to your head. I would suggest investing in a few good playlists that reflect the island mood. It wouldn't cost much but it would give that extra sparkle to the experience.

The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

Had a great holiday at the beautiful Westin. The 45-minute flight distance from Male Airport is just right, and the hotel's pick-up and drop-off services are very attentive. Our order included breakfast and dinner, and one of the dinners could be reserved at the Japanese restaurant. The buffet has a rich variety and you can taste food from different countries. Due to the strong wind and waves during this period, unfortunately we were unable to participate in sea activities such as paddle boarding, but the coaches held a fierce volleyball match in the swimming pool. You can see some corals 🪸 and tropical fish 🐠 while snorkeling. The room facilities are impeccable. The most impressive thing is the enthusiasm of the staff. Whether it is the welcome and farewell queue at the pier, the chat in the restaurant, or the greetings when we meet on the road, it makes you feel as if you are in a familiar community and feel more relaxed and comfortable. If there is a chance in the future, I will come again!

Vakkaru Maldives - Luxury Private Island Resort

We’ve travelled to many places around the world and stayed in countless hotels and resorts — some even more expensive than this — but Vakkaru is truly the BEST experience we’ve ever had. Baa Atoll is already one of the world’s most pristine ecological reserves, and the resort’s blue holes and sandbanks are simply addictive. We could visit them several times a day and still never get enough. At any moment, you’ll find different kinds of fish swimming freely around you. Beyond the beauty and the facilities, what truly makes Vakkaru unforgettable is the people. Our butler Myat, the sommelier, and our roomboy Mohamond all went above and beyond, offering the warmest, most thoughtful care throughout our stay. Their kindness made all the difference. It’s really hard for us to leave. We will definitely be back — and without a doubt, we’ll choose Vakkaru again.

Royal Island Resort

On Maldives we come for the third time, the Royal Island Resort was the first time and remained very satisfied! The transfer to the island was a hydroplane and a boat (thank you for the hotel that didn't have to wait until lunch of the inner flight). Back by boat and plane by internal flight. The transfer backward was free, for which also a separate thank you. We arrived at the hotel at 8 a.m., we were settled immediately. We took the Villa sunset, and our house was super successful - far from the pier (in those closer to the pier - it is not very convenient to swim and there is no reef) and close to the beautiful reef. ”The food is very tasty and a great variety, every day for lunch and dinner there were necessarily seafood dishes, fruits, crazy desserts, ice cream, all in abundance. ”The staff is friendly, our waiter at the restaurant brought drinks by the moment we had already got the meals - come to the table, and the water is already poured into glasses and a teapot on the table. Host Mark also liked it very much, everything told, showed. The chief manager at Ali restaurant constantly approached asking how we were eating, whether everything likes. - Cleaning every day , replacing towels every day, including beaches. We have a lot of where we have visited and what have seen, and in our opinion it is a very worthy resort, with excellent price/quality ratio - recommended !!!

The scenery didn't have to be said, but from the evening, there were a lot of huge cockroaches indoors and outdoors. It was very affecting the experience. On the day of the departure, the hotel made a mistake in my trip, which caused me to wake up at 5:30 in the morning and told me that I had to leave the store after 20 minutes. They put the notice of leaving the store at an inconspicuous place at the door. I didn't see the information that I personally think is important. It is best to ensure that I can do it if I can do it. My best day experience will not be destroyed.

We stayed at Water Villa with Pool for 7 nights in February 2023. < Snorkeling > Close to the room to drop-off, snorkeling is the best. Be careful not to catch corals as the front is quite shallow. There were many kinds and quantities of fish, and I could see turtles every day. If you don't chase, you will swim nearby. According to the staff, I have seen the best 5 at once. It is said that the snorkeling between water sports jetty and Benjarong is the most. The life jacket provided in the room was easy to use. I entered the sea from my room every morning, but there was a flow depending on the day and it was difficult to reverse, so I went up from the sandy beach near Benjarong while being washed away by Xu 々 I went back to my room. The water villa on the 501-510 side is the best for snorkeling, but the sound of the waves hitting the shore was quite loud, and it was a little negative that I could hear all the time in the room. < Yoga > There were several free yoga lessons every day (reservation required) The teacher was a young Thai woman teacher and was quite authentic. The participants range from the first to the veteran 々 and up to 6 to 8 people. There were various venues such as indoors and outdoors along the sea. Matt also Manduka For reference, the schedule for February 2023 was as follows. (Month) 7:30-8:30 Sunrise Yoga 10:30-11:30 Yin Yoga 17:00-18:00 Gentle Yoga (Fire) 7:30-8:30 Yoga Stretching 10:30-11:30 Relief & Relaxing Yoga 15:00-16:00 Gentle Yoga 17:00-18:00 Yoga & Breath exercise (Water) 7:30-8:30 Hatha Yoga 10:30-11:30 Yoga Stretching 17:00-18:00 Vinayasa Yoga There were 4 to 5 free activities every day, and there were a lot of things such as Soundbath meditation /Nature walk /Easy Island Run / Thai massage lessons. < Customer layer > Traveling from China has not yet resumed in a big 々, so there weren't many Chinese. Most Asians are young Korean couples (a little bad manners), and Japanese are not yet there after Corona. Many Europeans came as families, and many Europeans were in terms of number, but it seems that there are usually many Asians (China and South Korea). < Food > I made it all-inclusive. Drinks in the room (soft drinks, beer, tea, coffee, etc.) are included, but some alcohol in the room and restaurant are charged. If you had lunch on the first day, the lunch on the last day was an extra charge (butler explains). The food was delicious at every restaurant. < Room > Water circulation (washroom 2 or place) The amount and temperature of the shower was perfect. You can also store hot water immediately in the bathtub. The water leaked on the floor on the first day, but I was able to fix it immediately. Bed wanted a twin, but was told not to be a prior request, but when I went to the room, it was made into a Hollywood twin. The bicycle installed in the room was convenient (no brakes, type that stops the pedal with a reverse saw, there is a bar in the middle like for men, so the tight skirt may be tighter ... You can ride on a dress i'm sorry. The private pool in the room is seawater. On the last day, I wanted a boat + domestic flight from the resort on a plane from Male at 23:40, so there was a guide the day before and I was able to use the room until 18:00 when I checked out 19:00 resort departure.

We chose this hotel, the price/performance ratio is really good. After the trip, some people arranged for pick-up and drop-off, arranged for the inland plane and speedboat to arrive at the resort. After arriving at the fake village, the service staff sent a welcome to each person. We originally booked 5 I lived in a luxury villa in the evening. Fortunately, I can live in the water villa on the 4th night. The two villas have their own characteristics. The luxury villas can see the sunset, the water villas can see the sunrise, and everything is well arranged. The beach has white sand and the water is very blue. We cleaned the room twice a day. We booked a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was also served in the same main restaurant. The waiter was very polite. Every night there are different dishes and facilities. Enough, in addition to drinking water, only one bottle is supplied per room per day. The water in the hose is only filtered once and the salt is not completely filtered. Therefore, it is not suitable for drinking. To drink extra water, you should buy it at the restaurant or bar.

Very good holiday island, no children, quiet. The room service was very good, the housekeeper arranged in a well-organized manner, we came to clean as soon as we went out, and replenished enough water. The breakfast and dinner are very rich, the level is very high, satisfied. The only downside is that this time to catch up with the heavy wind and rain, there is no snorkeling and any sea activities. The pick-up service is very good, there is a lounge, at the water airport, some distance from the international airport, there is a car transfer, and the service staff will follow.
