This hotel offers a standardized, industrialized experience, which I found to be excellent. The shared showers and restrooms, serving four rooms, were continuously cleaned by staff, which was also great. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the North Station train/bus station, and also a 20-minute walk from Boston Common/the start of the Freedom Trail. Chinatown is a 10-minute walk away. To get to Harvard University, it's a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste when staying at hotels in the US. The Revolution Hotel offers great value for money. Also, US hotel prices can fluctuate a lot, so it's important to book at the right time and make a quick decision. This is a great hotel, located right across the river from MIT. It's directly connected to the train station, subway, and a shopping center via skywalks and underground passages. The excellent facilities and convenient transportation make it perfect for all kinds of needs when visiting Boston, whether you're traveling for business, relaxing in libraries, visiting famous universities, enjoying seafood at the market, or strolling along the Freedom Trail.

Hotel was clean and service was friendly but inaccurate at times. However, there was construction outside at 6 AM which could be heard very clearly. Staff would also be loud and push around metal carts outside rooms until as late as midnight sometimes

citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much.

About a ten-minute walk from the subway station. It's not in the city center, but the distance to downtown is still acceptable. The air conditioning in the hotel was terrible. I arrived in late April and still needed the heating on. It was either scorching hot, with the room approaching 30 degrees Celsius, or not warm enough, only 19 degrees. When I asked the front desk staff, their solution was to restart the heating myself. However, after restarting, the heater made an incredibly loud noise, so much so that I needed earplugs to sleep.

Excellent hotel. I’ve stayed at the one in Vegas a handful of times and this is my first time trying the Boston one, it definitely lives up to its reputation. Highly recommend-great location, clean hotel and great service.

Location: The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of downtown attractions like the Freedom Trail, Tea Party Museum, Quincy Market, City Hall, and Boston Common. Harvard is accessible by subway, and MIT is a walk away on the return trip. Both Boston South Station and North Station (which has a large Star Pharmacy supermarket) and the airport shuttle drop-off point are within walking distance. Chinatown and Macy's are a 5-minute walk away. Cleanliness: Decent. Value for Money: Alright. A good choice if you prioritize saving time and feeling safe. Room Size: The twin room was a suitable size. Soundproofing: Decent. Room Amenities: The beds are high and the mattresses are quite soft. The bathroom has a bathtub (low and small), the showerhead is a bit low, and the water pressure is average. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. No slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The room has a microwave and a mini-fridge. There's a free ice machine and water dispenser in the hallway. Service: Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM. Early check-in costs an additional $50. Luggage storage is available in advance (free). A $100 per day deposit is required at check-in (held on the bank card, refunded within 2 hours after check-out). Complimentary cookies are given at check-in (very sweet). The hotel lobby bar features a singer in the evening, offering an American bar atmosphere.

A clean hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast provided was good, although such a terrible waste using plastic cutlery and cups as well as paper plates and cups, not great for the environment at all. Nice downstairs area to socialise in the evening. It would have been nice to have been told on check in about the free food available on Wednesday evening, with crackers, cheese, salad, soup, cookies, beer and soft drinks rather than stumble upon it 5 minutes before it stopped and therefore miss out. The same goes for the free coffee that is available all day and only finding out about it not long before leaving.. Didn't use the swimming pool as was rather crowded already when we went there. The gym was spacious and welll equipped. No flexibility on a later check out, with check out being 11am which is early for a hotel of this size. Location wise we walked or took the local buses which was fine but you are some distance out of the city which might not suit some.

Hotel location is great, parking is easy, rooms are big enough and clean. The only problem we had is during the check-in, we were rejected to check-in although the room is fully paid, the reception reason is because we don't inform them that we are going to be late, we were late due to flight delay, and already exhausted from the delay, hoping to be able to check-in, yet the reception adamant that we didn't tell them ahead, in which our colleague which arrived earlier, actually already inform them (different person from the one handling our check-in). After Trip.com customer Service, Mr. Loui help us by contacting the hotel, we are allowed to check-in. VERY SATISFIED with TRIP.COM customer service team.
