I reached the hotel at 8:30am without notifying them in advance, expecting to wait until 12pm for check‑in. Instead, the staff were incredibly kind and immediately arranged a room for me (a big fat star from me straight away). Their understanding and efficiency set the tone for the entire stay. Every staff member I met was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made me feel genuinely cared for and completely at ease. Highlights of my stay: 1. Personalized WeChat service – I absolutely loved this feature. It provided a direct line under my room number for any request, whether I was in the hotel or out exploring. With auto‑translation built into WeChat, communication was effortless even without knowing Chinese. 2. Sanitary film roll toilet seats – Omg, what a brilliant touch for hygiene and comfort. It’s rare to see such thoughtful details, and it added another big fat star in my book. 3. Disposable face wash and bath towels – Alongside the usual towels, these thoughtful extras made me feel cared for and comfortable, especially as someone who values high hygiene standards. Honestly, this surpassed even my experiences at international 5‑star hotels (they need to update and follow). The facilities were modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. Rooms were spacious, stylish, and extremely comfortable—I loved every detail. The location was convenient too: step outside and you’ll find rows of restaurants on both sides of the road, and just a 10‑minute taxi ride takes you to the central nightlife. Another highlight came at check‑out. When staff asked where I was heading next, I mentioned transferring to a nearby hotel to meet friends. They went above and beyond by offering to take me there. That level of service and care is rare, unforgettable, and deeply appreciated. Thousand Hotel truly delivers a smooth, relaxing, and luxurious experience. Bathroom shower handle broken. Despite asking form non smoking room, still got smoking room. Morning breakfast is not ready on time. Not expecting this from Sheraton.

The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache. First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance. Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient. Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick. Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance. For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.

I didn't plan ahead for my Zhangjiajie trip and booked this hotel last minute. The hotel is relatively new, and I was satisfied with its cleanliness. However, the location is quite out of the way, with almost no dining or entertainment options nearby, making it inconvenient for daily life. The hotel is small, and the service is very basic, with no extra amenities. Breakfast vouchers need to be collected daily. Soundproofing is mediocre; I could clearly hear people walking upstairs and conversations outside my door. Parking, however, is convenient, with a sizable and free parking lot in front of the hotel. Breakfast overall was very average; the watermelon wasn't fresh, and there were only two or three basic fruit options. The pastries didn't seem freshly made and tasted pre-packaged. Only the rice noodles were decent; nothing else stood out. The only upside is its proximity to the airport, which is convenient for catching flights. Overall, my impression was very average.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Huaihua South Station, only 10 minutes away by taxi. There are many business types, a large parking lot, clean and sanitary rooms, large area, and complete facilities and equipment. The service staff have a good attitude. The switchboard spring service is very good. Thumbs up to her! !

I came to stay at the Hampton by Hilton Hengyang again. The service is as considerate as ever, especially the housekeeper Pingping, who arranged the room properly and turned on the air conditioner in advance. It was very considerate and I was very satisfied. The breakfast variety was complete and super good [strong] Auntie Wen Shixiu cleaned the room very carefully and it was clean👍

My stay at the W Hotel Changsha was absolutely fantastic, five stars all around! Lin, the greeter at the front desk on the sixth floor, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Her warm smile and proactive guidance, helping me with the check-in process, made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. The hotel's ambiance is trendy and grand, with a stylish design throughout the common areas. My room was spacious and bright, well-equipped with all the essentials, and impeccably clean. The staff were professional and efficient, always ready to assist with any request, making for an excellent experience. The location is superb, with convenient transportation and a wide array of amenities nearby. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure vacations. Both the service and quality are top-notch, truly trustworthy and highly recommended!

The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is plentiful. For Chinese New Year, they even prepared blessing stamps and a blessing wall, which created a wonderful atmosphere. In the courtyard, the fruit trees were laden with golden lemons (what the locals call kumquats), symbolizing good fortune for the new year. There's an outdoor pool and camping tents; it's quite pleasant for guests who return early from sightseeing to chat and play cards. There are also facilities for children, which is great for little ones. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is very convenient.

This is a listed five-star hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel its high-end and grandeur. In terms of service, it is completely five-star standard. The staff are warm and considerate. Whether it is the front desk reception or room service, they can respond to my requests, which makes me feel very considerate. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, and all supporting facilities are available, making it very convenient to use. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. Good hotel near South railway station. Nice rooms. Three elevators is not much for 30 floor building, but luckily the hotel wasn't nearly () fully occupied. Breakfast options a bit limited for a hotel like this. Chinese breakfast: few vegatable options. Western breakfast: good European style bread but nothing to put on it except jam.
