Our stay at the he Ramada was one of the best hotel experiences we have enjoyed. The room amenities are outstanding the kitchenette is fully stocked, dishwasher microwave, washing machine, dryer, excellent shower and vanity. The bed and beddings is very comfortable. Our greeting at reception as well as a seamless check-in and checkout were very much appreciated! Kudos to front of office and housekeepers! Ramada Wellington has set the bar very high .

I was hesitant to stay here due to some negative reviews I'd read beforehand. However, I found those reviews to be quite demanding, especially considering the price paid. The location is excellent, close to the train station and the ferry departure points, and the neighborhood is quite peaceful. The building is old, and the elevators don't always work perfectly. The rooms are basic, and the beds don't have individual curtains. I still recommend it because the value for money is incredible.

It was good. I enjoyed staying that. This place’s very clean. Just one note, housekeeper wake me up middle of morning is understandable however don’t come into room start chatting when few guests are sleeping in the room. I wasn’t only the one sleeping but some staff came into my room start chatting and the chat could’ve been done outside of room woke all of us up. Giving a little advice, take a quick scan when you entering the guest room. We paying the room to stay there so we deserve to have peaceful sleep.

Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference. Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere. The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable. One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in. Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight. Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

This hotel has a fantastic design; it's very unique and stylish. The color scheme is absolutely beautiful. Plus, it was great value for money this time around. I hope they'll have more promotions in the future because I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends. A really excellent experience! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and responsible.

We enjoyed a couple of nights' stay at this centrally located hotel. The self service check-in and check-out process was relatively seamless and staff were responsive when we requested fresh towels and sheets. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for us, although there is no window (other than a small skylight).

I stayed at Travelodge Hotel Wellington and overall had a good experience. The hotel is located right in the city centre, with a very convenient location. You can access the hotel from two sides — from Lambton Quay by taking the stairs up, or by car via Gilmer Terrace. The hotel has a small gym and a restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was tidy and well maintained. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a good option for staying in central Wellington.

The entrance was a little hard to find, but it's easy once you get used to it. The hotel is also conveniently located. As the name suggests, there were many paintings and other artworks, and the reception and lobby were very stylish. The hallway to our room also had a luxurious feel to it, which was exciting. We were given a very spacious corner room. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave and a large dishwasher, which was very convenient. The bathroom had a bathtub separate from the shower, which made soaking in the hot water very relaxing. Above all, it felt luxurious and special, and seeing my daughters so happy made me very happy. I would like to stay here again. Thank you.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. King studio room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was nice with a good selection on food but the scrambled eggs were cold. Hotel is in walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff, super helpful, seem like they really care about the people staying. The bedroom we stayed in was really nice, the bed was super comfy. Would stay again, in fact, we intend to re book soon!
