Most properties do not offer any courtesy kilowatts/electric, it usually falls on the full responsibility of house guests, and if it is offered, the price per day to rent the property far exceeds any benefit realized by the given kilowatts/electricity. We have taken an innovative approach with our property: we have proactively invested a large amount of money in a modern solar system with back-up batteries. By taking this approach, it provides two benefits: 1. The deletion of any issues with power outages and 2. the ability to offer a reasonable amount of courtesy electricity at no charge. This includes no charge electricity up to 60 kilowatts a day. Any daily usage beyond that amount is the responsibility of the house guest at $0.50 a kilowatt. Kilowatt usage is recorded upon check-in and check-out to ensure accuracy of usage. Any usage above the 60 kilowatts must be paid in full prior to check-out.
