"Hotel is good location sitting close to the Nagoya Station. Service basically was good except ehrn checking, the computer system was down and took long time to enter to the room. The restaurant was quite fully and making table reservation as hotel guest was hopeless. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Will come back but probably need to book bigger room."

One of the biggest conveniences is the FamilyMart located on the ground floor, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or daily necessities at any time. The room was clean and comfortable, although it was relatively small, which is typical for many hotels in Japan. Despite the compact size, the room was well-organized and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel provides a variety of amenities, which guests can conveniently pick up from the lobby according to their needs. This is both practical and environmentally friendly. Overall, this is a great hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay near Nagoya Station."

"The hotel's location is unbeatable, right above the JR station, which is super convenient. Takashimaya is right next door and directly connected to the hotel building, making travel incredibly easy! Although we booked the largest room, it didn't feel that big, possibly because of a pillar in a corner of the room. The curtains in the room had to be pulled manually, which felt a bit outdated. Finally, I have to complain about the hotel's terrible soundproofing. Even though we were placed on the highest floor, our room was in the worst possible spot, directly facing the blower of the building across the street. It was running 24 hours a day and was incredibly noisy, especially at night, making it very difficult to sleep. For such a high-end hotel, the soundproofing was surprisingly poor… The hotel later offered to move us to a quieter room on the other side, but we had several suitcases unpacked, and it was too much hassle to repack, so we declined. We had already requested a quiet room when checking in, yet we were still given a noisy room directly facing the blower. I wonder if this was directed at Chinese tourists or the Ctrip platform."

The breakfast selection is rich and delicious, and the service is excellent. You can tell the hotel pays attention to many details. "This hotel boasts an excellent location. From Central Japan International Airport, you can take the Meitetsu Line directly to Nagoya Station, and the hotel is just about 600 meters from the exit. There are three major convenience stores nearby – 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson – and a large Aeon supermarket about 800 meters away, making dining, living, and getting around incredibly convenient. Compared to other hotels, a 19-square-meter room is considered quite spacious here, and it's clean and tidy. Check-in was very easy, and for check-out, you just insert your card into the machine. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money."

"Every time I visit Nagoya, Tokyu Hotel is my top choice. It's a well-established 5-star hotel in the Sakae shopping district, with a drugstore right outside and an airport bus stop nearby, which is super convenient for not having to drag luggage to the airport. However, my experience this time was just so-so. There was a strange odor throughout the entire floor, and while the room was spacious, the air conditioning was ineffective – it ran all day but never cooled down. My comfort level was pretty average, and to top it off, the price had even gone up."

"This is a business hotel with a great environment and excellent facilities. However, the lobby is bustling every day, which takes away from the relaxing and comfortable feeling one desires during a trip. The room itself felt a bit cramped, and the limited space only added to the sense of busyness while traveling."

"Location is superb at Sakae area, with 24hr Donki just opposite and a Family Mart at the ground floor. Stores around include Uniqlo, GU, Daiso, ABC Mart, 3 Coins +, drug stores etc. It's walking distance around 10mins to Oasis 21 bus terminal for the direct bus to and fro airport, which I find is more convenient than taking the train as would need to exchange subway line at Nagoya station. Front desk service is good and friendly. We love the free Miso soup and drinks provided, and also amenities like facial wash, moisturiser, mask, very thoughtful gesture. They also help to store my luggage when i went for Takayama for a few days before coming back to check in again for another few days. Queen size bed room is considered spacious, bed is comfy. Just that the pillow that they provided is some kind of special functional pillow but is too thin and flat for my liking. Overall a great stay :)"

"My main goal for this trip was to get some good rest, so I specifically chose a room on the side away from the main road and booked a more expensive top-floor room. Before checking in, I even requested a corner room, hoping to have no neighbors on either side, but the hotel said they couldn't arrange it, which I totally understood. In terms of soundproofing, if you're on the top floor and not facing the road, it's genuinely very quiet overall. With the windows closed, you basically can't hear any outside traffic or even the normal activities of neighbors. The only exception is if there are kids next door running around loudly in their room, then you'll definitely hear some noticeable noise. I experienced that firsthand this time. However, for those who prioritize convenient transportation, this hotel might be something to reconsider. It's not particularly close to a subway or train station, requiring about a 15-minute walk. If you're dragging luggage, especially in summer or on a rainy day, it can be quite a struggle. In comparison, many hotels near stations in Nagoya offer excellent value for money. I chose this place purely for the peace and quiet and the quality of rest. From that perspective, it completely met my expectations. If I visit Nagoya again and my primary goal is still rest, I would likely choose this hotel again. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to travelers like me who value sleep quality and a quiet environment."
