"The Mars Cabin was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a full range of children's amenities, making it perfect for families. The hotel's personalized service was excellent. My child was just over 1.2 meters tall, but the hotel didn't charge extra. There were plenty of activities, so we never got bored. A special thanks to our butler, Xiao Zhao, who basically responded to our WeChat messages instantly. Whenever we needed a shuttle, he'd arrange it within 5 minutes. When I was leaving the hotel, my car accidentally got stuck in a sand pit. Under the scorching midday sun, Butler Xiao Zhao spent over an hour tirelessly helping me – putting down planks, shoveling sand, pushing the car, and finally coordinating the hotel's tow truck, even though my rental car didn't even have a tow hook (a note to Shenzhou Car Rental: provide cars with tow hooks!). He finally got my car out."

"The hotel's basic facilities are quite good, but the maintenance is just average. It seems the last renovation was a while ago; there were cracks in the wooden frame of the bathroom door and a noticeable depression on the shower floor that caused water to pool. The cleanliness should probably be okay, but upon check-in, I found socks left by the previous guest and dried toothpaste residue on the mouthwash cup, which was quite off-putting. This made me pay extra attention to the hotel's hygiene, and I noticed dust on light switches and around the TV screen frame (though it's possible this was from me shaking out the bed sheets I brought myself due to my cleanliness concerns). When I inquired about the extra charge for a child's breakfast, the front desk staff clearly wasn't familiar with the hotel's policy, first giving me incorrect information and then stating that the restaurant's answer would be final. Finally, regarding a negative service experience, the day before check-in, the hotel called to ask about any room preferences. Since I wasn't familiar with the hotel's layout, I agreed to their suggestion for a high floor with a good view. While I did get a high floor, it turned out to be the lowest floor of the Marriott's guest rooms. If no one had asked about my preferences, I probably wouldn't have felt so disappointed. Now for the good points. The location is excellent, and the room offered a spacious view. There's a free swimming pool and gym, and both the pool facilities and water quality are quite good. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, and if you're in a hurry, you can ask the staff for a takeaway cup to pack coffee or other beverages, which is a thoughtful touch."
