"May 3rd Sunny to sandstorm to rainstorm (Dunhuang weather: crazy mode) At 5pm, I landed in Dunhuang with full of enthusiasm, and was hit by a sandstorm as soon as I left the airport (Dunhuang OS: welcome to hell). After putting my luggage at the hotel, I immediately entered the battle state - squatting for rehearsal! After arriving at the place~” I (on the surface): ”Okay, okay~). I stubbornly stood there and became the new landmark of Mingsha Mountain, but the result was... Sandstorm 2.0"

"An old-school upscale hotel, and I was genuinely delighted from check-in at the front desk to happily checking out. The hotel's surroundings are excellent, with convenient transportation. It's a five-minute walk to the Ningxia Museum, and an eight-minute walk or three-minute bike ride to many creative shops (like Qimanfu and Liu Sanduo). Getting to Ziqiang Alley takes about 20 minutes by bike. The breakfast was also incredibly varied, clean, and delicious. The rooms are spacious with good soundproofing and even include children's slippers and toiletries. The rigor and pursuit of excellence typical of German enterprises are perfectly showcased here. I will definitely choose Kempinski again next time. Finally, regarding some previous reviews mentioning that the hotel facilities aren't very new: this hotel is 16 years old, and its upkeep and maintenance are truly outstanding."

"The old saying that in real estate the ”three most important things are: location, location, location” also applies to hotels! The Shenhua hotel is in the heart of historic Yinchuan just a block from the drum tower and about two and a half blocks from the bell tower. Heading the opposite direction from the drum tower you are just a short walk from a night market with a variety of casual dining options. Heading just past the drum tower you get to a lovely broad pedestrian street with great shopping and restaurants. The Shenhua is a solid, comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast bar has options to please everyone. People matter, and the hotel staff does a great job addressing any questions or special needs a client might have. (Ma Xiao did an exceptional job of making me feel welcome at the hotel and helped me with a shipping need! Employees like that make a great difference!)"

"Amazing hotel! The front desk team and cleaning ladies were delightful!!! What a great value for money! So close to the Center! I must particularly mention the breakfast! I have never experienced such a clean delicious abundant breakfast in a hotel! In three days the hot dishes were never the same, the varieties always changed! There was so many freshly made noodle dishes to choose from!!! I cannot wait to be back !!!!"

"The room was spacious and bright, clean and tidy. The location is excellent – convenient for transport yet surprisingly quiet. There was a dedicated staff member directing parking, and plenty of dining options nearby. It's also very close to Gulou Commercial Walking Street. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. "對比多家中衞沙漠營地選了這家新開業的。本以為沙漠難免積沙，沒想到帳篷內外打理得挺乾淨的，公共衞生間、淋浴間定時打掃消殺，無異味、無積水，一次性洗漱用品配備完整。營地環境整潔有序，每個帳篷間距充足，安靜不嘈雜，日出日落景觀一覽無餘。帳篷設施齊全耐用，防風支架穩固，夜間保暖電熱毯、穩定WiFi、多口充電插座全都有，過夜舒適度很高。服務特別貼心，工作人員主動幫忙清理身上沙塵，有小問題幾分鐘就上門處理，搬行李、拿熱水全程主動幫忙，乾淨舒適服務到位。"

"This truly lives up to its reputation as Yinchuan's best five-star hotel. First, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially the bathroom, which was surprisingly large—it felt even bigger than the bedroom! The shower pressure was fantastic, and the toiletries were a British brand with a lovely, natural scent. The bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. They even provided a capsule coffee machine with coffee capsules. The complimentary shoe-shining service was a thoughtful touch, and the in-room internet was fast and reliable. Secondly, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. The Western pastry selection, especially the flaky croissants, was authentic and delicious. The live cooking stations for Eggs Benedict and egg white rolls are features you typically only find in top-tier five-star hotels. They also had freshly squeezed watermelon juice and rich, high-quality coffee. What really impressed me were the local Ningxia specialties in the Chinese section, such as Jinsi Sanzi, Tangmaya, Tangmaye, fried pastries, and mung bean cakes. The chef even enthusiastically introduced these local delicacies to me. And of course, there were other Ningxia specialties like lamb soup, lamb pies, beef buns, and goji berry yogurt—I was extremely satisfied. Finally, all the hotel staff provided excellent service, especially the housekeeping attendant on the day I checked in. This lady deserves special commendation for her thoughtful and warm service. The front desk even accommodated my request to keep a room key card, specially giving me a pristine commemorative card. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the Ningxia Museum. The JW Marriott Hotel Yinchuan left a wonderful impression on me. Yinchuan truly is a beautiful and friendly city."

"The tents had brand new bedding, a cozy layout, and a complete range of amenities, all conveniently located. The bathroom and toilet facilities were complete, and the entire scenic area had electricity and internet (with fast speeds). The restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, and the entertainment options were healthy, environmentally friendly, fun, and meaningful for the whole family. I especially commend Xiaochao, the butler. He was very attentive, kind, and welcoming. I'll definitely stay with him again if I visit Tengri again."
