Fantastic, well-designed hotel! They even included two complimentary tickets. The hotel is right in the heart of the scenic area, making it super convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the street views. Breakfast is right next door, and there's even a shuttle bus. Plus, a direct coach from the hotel entrance takes you straight to the high-speed rail station!

The room was exactly as pictured online, with a comfortable and stylish decor. All the amenities and furnishings were exquisite, and the entire place was spotlessly clean, making our stay very reassuring. The hotel is located in a bustling area with extremely convenient transportation; the subway station is right next door. It's just an 18-minute walk to Bayi Square, which is perfect for a stroll after dinner. The soundproofing was excellent, and the air conditioning was refreshingly cool, allowing for a comfortable night's sleep.

We booked the cheapest room with ”no windows” as we were going for a more budget friendly room, and it ended up being the best choice possible. Our room had in fact a window, just no view on the valley, which we did not care for. We stayed in building 5 and it was PERFECT. It was right beside the reception so it means we could walk directly to the front desk, to the breakfast buffet, to the gate entrance for Didi and to the valley. For 3 days, we never had to use the shuttle which is very convenient considering the bad reviews about the shuttles and the long wait times (for people who stay in a building further away). We had the cheapest room and it ended up being the best room in our opinion, so convenient. Our concierge was Xiao Kang and she was very helpful during our stay for all the little questions that we had. The breakfast buffet was very good. The cleaning service was regular. We enjoyed some time in the pool as well. We are so happy we chose this resort directly in the valley, it was perfect.

My wonderful trip with my travel buddy has come to a perfect end! The hotel was absolutely amazing!!! Ge Xian Village scenic area had delicious food, plenty of fun activities, and was super photogenic. The whole trip was relaxed and easygoing, and we didn't want to leave. Next time we visit Sanqing Mountain, we'll definitely choose Fengzhen Hotel again. Everyone's welcome to team up and check it out~

Let's start with the downsides: 1. The room facilities are clearly aging, including the toilet, shower, and small sofa. The deluxe river-view twin room I stayed in on the 2nd/3rd night had even worse facilities than the executive king room on the first night. 2. The housekeeping department lacks basic amenities like a step stool for children (they said it's only provided for family rooms). 3. Soundproofing isn't great. If your room is a bit close to the elevator lobby, it can get quite noisy. 4. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature didn't seem to have any effect, though the overall comfort was still acceptable. Now for the highlights: 1. The river-facing rooms offer an unbeatable view. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the photos. 2. From a tourist perspective, the location is excellent. Tengwang Pavilion and Dashiyuan are very close, and Wanshou Palace is also within walking distance. 3. The breakfast quality is decent, with a wide variety of options, including many local Nanchang specialties. The view from the restaurant windows during breakfast is also fantastic. 4. Although the hotel is tall, the elevators are fast and the water pressure is good, effectively avoiding common high-rise living issues. 5. The staff at the concierge, front desk, customer service, and restaurant are all very enthusiastic and have a great attitude. Other notes: The afternoon tea provided with the executive room on the first day was quite good. However, the welcome fruit platter was only delivered on the third day and wasn't of great quality.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

Stunning River View, Enchanting Nights – An Unforgettable Stay This stay far exceeded my expectations; if I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'breathtaking.' First, I have to rave about the river view! The room offered an unparalleled vista, directly facing the wide river. Watching the sparkling river during the day instantly lifted my spirits, and at night, it was simply a visual feast. What impressed me most was the night view across the river. As dusk settled, the buildings on the opposite bank lit up magnificently. The dazzling lights reflected in the water, creating what looked like a flowing galaxy. The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a peaceful sleep after enjoying the beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a unique romantic getaway or want to bring family and friends to see a spectacular light show, this place is absolutely the top choice. The next time I visit this city, I'll undoubtedly choose to stay here again!

The room was clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors. The courtyard was beautifully laid out, with fresh air and no noise, so I had a great rest!

I originally planned to stay for only two nights, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the room door. The accommodation quality is comparable to much better chain hotels for this price, so I immediately extended my stay for another two nights. I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The only downside is that the location is a bit remote, but it's close to the high-speed rail station, so getting a taxi is convenient.

The location is great, saving a lot of travel time. We arrived at night and walked about 7-8 minutes to Tangwali for some Gan cuisine. Dashi Yuan and Bayi Square are also within walking distance. In the morning, we went to visit the阁 (pavilion/tower), and the staff had already tidied up the room meticulously, refilling supplies and replacing slippers. We extended our stay for another night. I'll check out the afternoon tea later and provide another review then. The room is a bit small, but it's comfortable to stay in. My child even did some homework during their rest breaks in the evening and at noon, which really highlights the advantage of this location – you can always pop back for a quick rest.
