"The homestay is located on the pedestrian street right outside Luoyi Old City. It is easier to access through the parking lot at the back, though most taxi driver will refuse to reach there as the street is pretty narrow. Although the homestay follows old Chinese theme for all rooms and furniture, everything is new and clean. We even had water filter machine. There’s a separate laundry room that you can use for free. We were lucky that our room was at the very back, far from the noisy pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who prefer staying close the to old city to take photoshoot in Chinese costumes."

"This hotel is located in Zhengzhou's Grand Corn (Big Corn) building, with the lobby situated on the 38th floor. There's an attendant on the 1st floor to guide guests, and you'll need to transfer to another elevator on the 38th floor. It's not a hassle at all. The check-in associate was incredibly friendly and helpful. I noticed her name tag and realized it was Maggie, who many guests praise on Ctrip reviews. She even upgraded me to a lake-view room for free when she learned I preferred it – a big thank you to Maggie!
Just like other Marriott hotels, it was clean and well-maintained with complete facilities. There were plenty of power outlets and USB ports by the bed and desk, which was very convenient. I didn't use the gym or pool, but I took a look around, and they seemed good. The pool is kept at a constant 28°C, and there were a few people swimming.
The Ruyi Lake boat dock is about a ten-minute walk away, and there are many dining and drinking options along the lakefront downstairs, which is super convenient. Enjoying a meal or drink while admiring the beautiful lake view is lovely.
My schedule didn't allow for a longer stay, otherwise, I would have loved to spend a few more nights. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhengzhou! 👍"

"The owner was really welcoming and provided excellent service. The guesthouse is super close to Luoyi Ancient City, just a few minutes' walk away, and there are tons of food options nearby. We even tried a hotpot place near the ancient city that the owner recommended. I actually suggested this place to a friend who's visiting Luoyang soon, but unfortunately, they were fully booked that day. The service was top-notch, and breakfast was delicious. Parking was a bit tricky, but if you let the owner know beforehand to reserve a spot at the back and then follow their instructions when you arrive, it's fine. Overall, it's a great place and I highly recommend it!"

However, what truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service provided by Manager Li Manli. Her professionalism and problem-solving skills were outstanding. "The inn is very close to Luoyi Ancient City and the subway, which is very convenient. The inn has a nice courtyard for relaxation; I took a photo before leaving. The room itself was decent. The owner provided excellent service and even gave a small gift upon checkout. If I had to nitpick, there's no elevator, so if you're traveling with seniors, remember to contact them in advance to reserve a ground-floor room."

"The location is very convenient, whether it is not far from Shangqiu Ancient City, Wanda or the railway station/high-speed rail station, take a taxi or ride a small yellow car soon, eating and shopping around is also very convenient,
The most satisfying thing is the room hygiene, there is no smell at the door, the floor and desktop are very clean, the sheets and quilts look very new, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water comes out very fast, and the bath is very comfortable. Although it is economical, there are some: air conditioning heating/refrigeration to force, Wi-Fi speed is fast, sound insulation is good, rest is very quiet at night, the front desk service is also very good, check-in is very fast.
This price can live in a room with this condition. I really feel that I have found a treasure. The province should be a flower. Next time I come to Shangqiu, I will choose here. I recommend it to friends who are pursuing cost-effectiveness!"

"It might have been due to the May Day holiday rush, but the hotel's cleanliness wasn't up to par. There were leftover food stains on the table right inside the entrance. However, after contacting the front desk, they promptly arranged for cleaning and even offered two complimentary breakfasts, which was a very timely solution. The location is excellent, very close to Pang Dong Lai Angel City store. The parking lot is connected, which is a great convenience. When we left Pang Dong Lai, the hotel helped us input our license plate number so we didn't have to pay any additional parking fees."

The service was top-notch, truly. I chose Christine after reading so many glowing reviews, and it definitely paid off! My parents couldn't stop praising the staff, saying every single employee they encountered was warm, friendly, and incredibly polite: from the lobby manager, concierge, and front desk, to the housekeeping staff, restaurant crew, and even the driver who took them to the station – every single one was just wonderful. Such a hotel culture and management level is truly impressive! On top of that, the breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly rich and delicious. Next time we're in Luoyang, we're definitely staying here again!

GGuest UserIt was very quiet after 11 PM, and the view was fantastic; you could see the city walls from your room. The facilities were complete, including a washer and dryer. Transportation was very convenient, very close to the subway and bus stations. The old city was right downstairs, with a lively, bustling atmosphere – it felt like stepping back in time. The room was very clean and odor-free, with 24-hour hot water. Most importantly, it was located on the city walls, so I highly recommend it.

QQingjiaowoxiaoyeAlthough Dongshan Longyue isn't officially star-rated, my overall stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes.
Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

GGuest UserI had the most wonderful time at this Hotel, with the staff all being so hospitable and friendly! The owner of the hotel look after all his Guests very well and doesn’t leave them in need of anything, from rides to extending booking rooms, even complimentary fruit and snacks! The food in the hotel is very delicious and traditional, all very clean and flavourful! I can’t reccomend this hotel enough it’s only 1km away from Shaolin temple and other beautiful attractions.

GGuest UserDecided to try out one of their unique room types. The room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped. The little courtyard was so relaxing, and having a private hot spring tub was a real bonus! My child absolutely loved it. The butler was also fantastic, responding to messages 24/7 almost instantly. The front desk lady was very kind, and they even offered a pick-up and drop-off service. The staff member who drove us was handsome and had a great attitude – my husband even commented that his voice sounded like Wang Yibo's! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out.
