The service and breakfast were both good. I even forgot something, and the hotel called to thank me for it. However, the strange thing about this hotel is that the air conditioning only turns on at 6 PM. I came back from Maiji Mountain in the afternoon and was really cold, wanting to rest in the room. But I ended up having to wear my down jacket indoors. Air conditioning only starting at 6 PM? This is the first time I've encountered something like this in all my years of traveling!

Excellent stay. I came specifically for the Stargazer's Pavilion and expected the rooms to be old, but they were actually well-equipped and very comfortable. Every staff member was smiling. The Chinese restaurant offered great value for money and warm service. When I left, I had plenty of time, so I planned to wait for the bus. A staff member drove me to the station and told me to call him if the bus didn't show up, and he would take me to the city. I'll definitely stay here again when I bring my kids to Dunhuang, and I'll recommend it to friends.

We stayed here with our child because they wanted to go swimming, which is why we chose this hotel. Upon check-in, we received a free room upgrade, and the front desk staff were all very welcoming. The breakfast was also delicious, especially their radish and pork buns—definitely a must-try, they were incredibly good! Our child also loved the swimming pool.
The only downside was that the room didn't have heating; it seemed to be a fresh air system. In the afternoon, due to the room's orientation, it got very hot, but then it became extremely cold late at night and in the morning! This aspect really detracted from the experience.

The old house in Feijiang Lane is said to be connected to Li Guang. Its rammed earth walls and wooden beams and pillars retain a touch of ancient charm.
A short stay after a trip to Gansu and Qinghai. Coarse pottery complements the tea set, while rammed earth reflects the Longjiang embroidery. Chando amenities and a Laifen hair dryer are just the right touch.

First time in Zhangye doing the Silk Road. We’re Australians and don’t speak Mandarin. The hotel is brand new and the facilities were great. Service was fantastic and even though the reception couldn’t speak English they were so helpful and we communicated using a translation app to recommend restaurants and help us book transport. The General Manager of the hotel is called Jeffery and he speaks fluent English and was very helpful as well. Definitely recommend this hotel for tourists.
The bright lobby and warm and thoughtful front desk immediately give you a feeling of being at home, and the fatigue of driving for hundreds of kilometers. The front desk clerk is professional and standardized. The corridors of the rooms are wide, the carpets are clean and refreshing, the room layout is novel, the functional areas are clear, and the lighting layout is thoughtful. Self-driving parking is convenient, the ground and basement can be satisfied. Breakfast is good, super general hotel of this class, guests who are eager to hurry can receive ”breakfast package”, the service is very thoughtful. The whole hotel has a strong cultural atmosphere and a petty bourgeoisie. Whether it is a business trip or a rest, it is a good choice of accommodation.

Traveling to Zhangye, my stay at this five-star hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is super convenient, within walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower, and not far from the Danxia scenic area, making getting around a breeze.
The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with lush greenery adorning the lobby and a fresh, pleasant aroma. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the front desk processed my check-in efficiently, proactively helped with my luggage, and even offered a welcome fruit basket. Any requests were promptly addressed.
The room was spacious and bright, with impeccable cleanliness – not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, feeling like I was sinking into clouds. The smart home controls were incredibly convenient; just a call to ”Xiao Du” allowed me to operate the air conditioning and TV. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with excellent water pressure, and even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub and mugwort packets – soaking my feet after exploring the Danxia landforms was so therapeutic. The soundproofing was superb, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep until morning.
The facilities are comprehensive, and breakfast even includes local Zhangye specialties. The value for money is outstanding, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel is located in the Old Street commercial district. Finding parking was a bit of a hassle, but if you call the front desk beforehand, their directions are very clear. I had forgotten my contact lens solution and couldn't buy any since I arrived late. When I asked the front desk for help, they surprisingly lent me their personal solution to use! Huge appreciation for their kindness and excellent service. The beef noodles at breakfast were delicious, although other options were somewhat limited. The overall environment of the hotel is pleasant, and despite its location in a busy commercial area, the room was quiet and undisturbed. There are many convenient dining options nearby; I recommend trying the 'Kang Guo Yang Rou' (pot-stewed lamb).

We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly.

The room was nice, modern and clean. Staffs are helpful and have good service-mind.
Location is great, right next to the drum tower. There are a lot of shops nearby, a food street is in walking distance, the Big Buddha Temple (Dafosi) is also walkable.
There is also a free coffee machine at the lobby. Breakfast was also good.
A little down side, the shower area has a lot of small flies, which we don’t know where they came from, but didn’t cause much annoyances.
Despite some downsides above, we will stay at to this hotel again if we come back to Zhangye.

GGuest UserI have been to Zhangye for business several times and stayed here. The experience was very good and I was very satisfied! The front desk was very welcoming and there was a small sofa in the room. There is a green area under the hotel where you can take a walk.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent; right outside, you can catch buses to destinations like Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, the airport, the train station, and Xuanquanzi Scenic Area.
The hotel interior is also quite new, and the bedding is good.
Downsides: The water wasn't hot enough. They required a 30 RMB deposit for each room key card, which is something I haven't seen in years. For such a large hotel, it felt really petty.
The front desk service wasn't bad, but it felt a bit forced and uncomfortable. I don't know why, but they barely smiled, which made me wonder if the management was mistreating them? It just made for an uncomfortable experience.
They offer a station drop-off service, which I initially thought was a nice perk. However, the communication was unclear, and I wasn't sure if the car was even there. When you're traveling in an unfamiliar place and have a train to catch, punctuality is crucial. No one could give me a clear answer. In the end, I had to repeatedly press the front desk in the morning before they could confirm. It left a very bad impression; the entire management seems to have issues.
SScarletTheWandererOur group of friends had an amazing time at the Suyun Village Hotel in Jiuquan, Gansu. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The owner, a talented artist, treated us like family, sharing his local and cultural knowledge over cups of delicious tea. We loved the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, perfect for relaxation. The hotel had cozy spots inside and outside to soak up the sun while enjoying a good book. The hot pot dinner was mouthwatering and warmed us up on chilly nights. With its convenient location, we easily explored Jiayuguan Pass and the Great Wall. This hotel's hospitality was top-notch, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!
MM580431****The front desk lady has a sweet smile and the service is very warm and in place! The hotel room is clean and tidy, and feels like home. There are many restaurants and food around the hotel, and dining is very convenient.
GGuest UserI arrived at the hotel around four in the morning, exhausted and with tempered expectations after a major flight delay. To my great surprise, the staff had patiently waited for me despite the ungodly hour. Everything was prepared, and the check-in proceeded smoothly and professionally, without any trace of impatience or reluctance. This attentiveness and consideration from the very first contact set the tone for my entire stay.
The room far exceeded my expectations. Not only was it exceptionally comfortable, but it also offered that rare standard where price and quality stand in a remarkable relationship to one another. The cleanliness was impeccable, the furnishings tasteful and thoughtfully arranged – one could sense genuine care in every detail.
The breakfast deserves special mention: an abundant selection offered both traditional Chinese dishes and European options for Western palates. The quality of the food was consistently high, freshly prepared and lovingly presented. It was evident that international guests' needs are genuinely considered here, without sacrificing local authenticity.
What truly distinguishes this hotel, however, is its staff. The friendliness and attentiveness with which one is received and cared for goes far beyond the usual service level. This is the kind of hospitality that doesn't feel forced, but springs from genuine warmth.
For anyone visiting Dunhuang – whether following in the footsteps of the Silk Road or exploring the breathtaking Mogao Grottoes – I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It not only provides an excellent base for exploration, but becomes itself a positive part of the travel experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel I chose for this trip far exceeded my expectations! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was absolutely perfect.
The location was incredibly convenient. It wasn't far from any of the attractions, and with plenty of malls and convenience stores nearby, it was super easy to go sightseeing or find places to eat. The front desk attendant during check-in was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She not only processed everything quickly but also impressed me with her impeccable attention to detail.
The room was spotlessly clean, which was very reassuring. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making it easy to drift off to sleep instantly. The bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant herbal scent. Even essentials like a hairdryer and charging outlets were thoughtfully provided.
GGuest UserThis is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators.
Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back.
As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers!
One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best!
Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is easy to find, it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere, and it is close to several attractions in the city.
Facilities: The facilities are complete, mainly the hotel room is equipped with a humidifier, which is very considerate for people who are not used to the dry weather in Dunhuang.
Hygiene: The bedding, bath towels, and bathroom are very clean. After staying in the room and going out to play, the room will be cleaned and the bath towels will be changed every day.
Environment: Very quiet, very good rest.
Service: The service is in place, and they will ask in advance whether you need to bring breakfast or beef noodles across the street.
A hotel with a relatively high cost performance, I will choose it next time I come!

AAnonymous UserPicking this hotel is the right decision. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory! It is extremely suitable for my needs.
1. The hotel is conveniently located, only 15-20 minutes drive from the airport, which is a blessing for passengers on early and late flights, without worrying about the traffic problem of catching the plane;
2. The service at the front desk is considerate and warm, Miaomiao is warm and thoughtful and takes the initiative to greet, and the communication is pleasant😃
3. The room is large and clean, and it is very comfortable to live in, which adds a lot to this trip.
Overall, this hotel is not only in a great location, but also has a good service. It is highly recommended to friends who need to catch a flight and pursue comfortable accommodation!
