The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Ming-Qing Street, Zhenyuan Tower (currently under construction), Mutasi Temple, and Dafo Temple, all within walking distance. The accommodation is great—clean and comfortable. There's also a private parking lot. The service was excellent, and they even provided complimentary breakfast, which I really appreciated! Highly recommended! 👍🏾

Every time I travel, I agonize over which hotel to choose. I usually check out highly-rated hotels and see what their negative reviews say. For my trip to Zhangye, I also picked from several hotels. My personal experience was fantastic, exceeding my expectations. I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in some reviews. The staff were all young, vibrant, and the service was simply impeccable. From pick-up at the station to drop-off at the airport, every detail made me feel incredibly comfortable. The room was also spotlessly clean. The hotel's breakfast was the best I've had on this trip – a wide variety of options and a spacious dining area. For this price, staying at a hotel like this is incredibly good value for money.

The location is inside Tianshui Ancient City, a bit hard to find. Breakfast is a collaboration with the shop next door, only available from 8 AM, which is different from the information provided here. The room's screen mirroring works fine, but there are constant ads… The room doesn't have a key; it has a combination lock, so you don't have to worry about only having one card for two people. The front desk provides many free small items that you can use. The downsides are that if you stay on the first floor, you'll hear noise from outside, and if no one is at the front desk during check-in, you'll have to wait.

For my trip to Dunhuang, I specifically chose the Shazhou Glamping Camp, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. I have to praise their service – it's incredibly reliable. Before I even arrived, they sent messages proactively reminding me about the desert's day-night temperature differences, suggesting what to wear, and even provided travel tips based on my itinerary. During check-in and luggage transport, they were always ready to lend a hand. Once settled, they were on call for anything I needed. Whether I wanted hot water in the evening, had questions about camp activities, or needed a car at short notice, their response was always super quick. They were diligent and patient in their work, never just going through the motions. The camp environment is exceptional. You step right out into the vast desert, and the stargazing at night is spectacular. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, my stay was incredibly worry-free and relaxing. For anyone visiting Dunhuang and wanting a desert accommodation experience, I genuinely recommend this place; both the service and the environment are top-notch!

How should I put this? Maybe because it's a provincial capital, this hotel was the most expensive one on our trip to the Northwest. But honestly, the room was small – the kind where you can only open either the room door or the bathroom door at a time. And there was no light above the shower (just sharing the main bathroom ceiling light), so it was really dark. Although you need a key card to access the upper floors, someone still inexplicably knocked on our door (we later found out they had the wrong room). Getting around wasn't super convenient either; it's close to Zhengning Road Night Market, but you basically need a taxi to get to other attractions!

The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep after a day of travel. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient and smooth. They proactively offered helpful assistance with travel guides and attraction bookings. The breakfast offered a rich variety, combining authentic Northwestern specialties with exquisite Western dishes, all tasting delicious. The location is very convenient for getting around, with easy access to Mingsha Mountain, Mogao Grottoes, and Shazhou Night Market. It was incredibly comforting to have such high-quality accommodation in the middle of a desert journey. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dunhuang!

There are many dining options near the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly—they not only served us tea upon arrival but also helped take our luggage to the elevator entrance. The room is equipped with smart devices, and Xiaodu can help control the lights, curtains, TV, and even play music. Around 3:30 a.m., we were woken up by a fire alarm. All guests were evacuated to the street across from the hotel, where staff and firefighters could investigate the issue. The alarm was not lifted until about 5 a.m., allowing us to return to our rooms to sleep. When checking out in the morning, we learned that a drunk guest had shattered a fire alarm. The hotel gave us a full refund—a very responsible approach that deserves praise. The hotel should strictly prohibit guests from smoking in the hallways. Even though non-smoking rooms are requested, the smell of cigarette smoke drifts in from the corridor. I hope the hotel can improve this

The main reason for choosing this homestay is that it is close to the Dari Observation Deck. In fact, there is a large viewing platform next to the homestay. The location is great and the scenery is panoramic. There is a parking lot in front of the homestay, parking is convenient and safe; the room facilities are complete, the supplies are complete, there is floor heating, tea making utensils, etc.; there are restaurants and small supermarkets next to the homestay; the boss is very enthusiastic and overall satisfied!

My stay didn't start well, but thankfully, it ended on a high note. I chose this hotel for an early rest after a late-night flight, and to avoid any odd rooms, I didn't even book the cheapest room type. However, the room I was assigned, supposedly an upgrade to a Deluxe Room, turned out to be a weirdly shaped corner room (I believe all room 15s in Building 2 have this layout). From the sofa, you couldn't see the TV, and from the bed, you couldn't face it either. The curtains hid an angled, curved glass window, making the actual living area very cramped – I had to squeeze sideways to get from the foot of the bed to the sofa! I called to request a room change, and the AI transfer said it was the front desk. They told me to wait on the line, and then for 10 minutes, there was no one speaking or responding on the other end, nor did they hang up. I ended up having to drag my luggage downstairs to the front desk to change rooms, which took almost an hour in total – definitely not a mood booster. The front desk suddenly got busy with more guests checking in, but the gentleman at the desk patiently served everyone and politely helped me switch rooms. He explained that he wasn't the one who answered my call (I still don't know where my call went or who answered it). The new room was a standard, square layout, with a view of the airport operations area where I could see planes taking off and landing, but without significant noise. As a new hotel, the wardrobe had an odor eliminator. The TV playback often paused (likely a network issue, screen mirroring didn't have this problem). All the staff I encountered were very polite, which I appreciate. The airport shuttle was convenient, and the hotel is genuinely close to the airport – only about a 10-minute walk if you don't mind the sun. Objectively speaking, and not considering the price or the 'room type lottery,' this hotel should be the best option for an overnight layover at Lanzhou Airport right now.
