The staff was so friendly and helpful. Got us anything we needed, and gave a little souvenir to us after leaving. The hotel was clean, located in a great area, with a great balcony view of the waterfall. It was peaceful and quiet. Great restaurant 10 steps to the left (recommend the egg rice), a coffee shop, a convenience store and ice cream place to the right. Recommend taking all food to go and eating on your balcony. It gives you the river and waterfall view that other restaurants charge an arm and a leg for. 10/10 stay!! The photo attached is the view from our balcony!

The best hotel in Zhangjiajie ! The room and bathroom are perfectly clean, the room I stayed in was also beautiful. The location is super convenient, 5-min walk to Tianmen mountain depart station, 10-min walk from Zhangjiajie railway station and a direct bus from Zhangjiajie West Station. The receptionist answered all of my questions regarding the bus to come, the Zhangjiajie National Park, Tianmen Mountain. She was able to book all the tickets a a discounted price for me and gave me lots of information regarding the possible itineraries. When I left for Wulingyuan, she explained to me how to get there and where exactly was the bus stop. She always answered within the next 5 minutes. I had a really good time there and would definitely stay here again if I come back on Zhangjiajie.

The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful! They proactively called me beforehand to ask if I needed help planning my itinerary, and they can even book discounted tickets, which are cheaper than online – a real lifesaver for someone as forgetful as me! 😃 It saved me a ton of time and energy during my trip. The location is also great, making it convenient to get everywhere. There's an elevator, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and have comfortable bedding. Plus, there's a laundry room with a dryer, which is super convenient. All in all, I had an incredibly happy stay. If I ever come back to Wulingyuan, this will definitely be my first choice, and I'll recommend it to all my friends and family – you won't go wrong here! Wishing the owners a prosperous business! 💰

Overall, our experience was uncomfortable and disappointing. Communication was handled through WeChat and translation apps. Although the hotel had promised transportation from the station, they only arranged it after we contacted them on arrival day. At check-in, the receptionist repeatedly asked us to cancel our Trip.com reservation in exchange for a “better rate.” We declined, but the insistence made us very uncomfortable. We later reported this, and the hotel denied it, calling it a “translation error.” After that, the staff became overly attentive, offering multiple “complimentary” items and constantly messaging us with basic housekeeping questions. While meant as hospitality, it felt excessive and intrusive, especially during a vacation. At check-out, the same staff member pressured us to leave a 5-star review and implied that transportation was conditional on it. This raised serious concerns, so we chose to take a taxi instead. The situation escalated further when he followed us to continue insisting. The facilities are average: the bathroom is very small, the shower floods the floor, towels are worn, and the AC had an unpleasant odor. On the positive side, the bed, balcony, and view were nice. Without these issues, we might have had a better impression. However, the lack of transparency, pressure tactics, and overall discomfort made this a negative experience.

I want to take a moment here to describe one of my best moments with the staff from this establishment. Not only this place is located neitherly next to the fall for the best view; but they were always there to provide mewith the best care I also never experienced before from giving me a private tour around from themselves willingness, give me free liquor or drinks even if I didn’t want to some time.🤗. I got dressed up from his brothers shop; for me was an honour to be like having their cultural outfit for the day, show me the best restaurants around to taste the rich flavours of the region. And off course the incredible view at night from my balcony is unbelievable. This pale can receive sigle, couple and families. The room are rusting and very warm. It’s for me a 5 stars of the personality of the place and base on luxury. You won’t regret it! 👍🏼💝🙏

Such amazing hosts!! They’re a sweet young couple of a husband and wife. Helped me plan out a 2-day trip and buy discounted tickets. Accommodated a last minute change to my ticket entrance time too. Location is far from the park’s east entrance so you’ll have to call a car, but they offer one free drop-off at the entrance. A decent walk will get you to the central city road which lights up at night. Plenty of amenities. Note that the window doesn’t have that great of a view. Comfortable and clean room!

Zhangjiajie's scenery is absolutely stunning! The guesthouse owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. The guesthouse is located very close to the East Gate, down a super convenient alley. There's a breakfast shop right downstairs that serves delicious beef rice noodles, so you can get a real taste of authentic Hunan cuisine. If you want to try something different for breakfast the next day, there's another breakfast place just a short walk away. You can also buy fruit nearby. The environment is very peaceful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. All the toiletries you need are provided in the room, and they even offer disposable bath towels! The room was clean and tidy, and it's only a 10-minute taxi ride from Wulingyuan East Gate. I highly recommend this guesthouse – it offers fantastic value for money!

Amazing hotel for the price, and the staff are so lovely, kind and helpful! We arrived using the free transfer service, and were welcomed with an upgraded room looking down onto the ancient town - which was particularly amazing at night. The hotel is very conveniently located next to an entrance to the ancient town. Breakfast was nice, and the staff helped us with tickets to the ancient town. The rooms had a very nice atmosphere, and were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to any international tourists! Thank you!

The hotel is located in a very scenic area with an amazing view from the room which is definitely the highlight of the stay. Just note that you still have to pay an additional entrance fee (90 yuans) to enter the area, although the hotel helps to purchase it at a slightly cheaper price. The room itself was quite small, and at night it can get a little noisy because of singing activities nearby. The road from the entrance to the hotel is also not very smooth, especially if you’re carrying luggage, but you can ask the hotel staff for help and they were quite helpful with that. Overall, recommended if you’re mainly looking for a stay with a beautiful view and nice scenery.

We had such a wonderful stay here and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. 1. We requested an early check‑in at 10:30 AM, and the staff kindly prepared the room in time. 2. When we needed a paper printed, they helped us immediately without hesitation. 3. They provided us with a map and explained the show timings clearly, which made exploring the town much easier. 4. Our room had a beautiful and peaceful riverside view—truly relaxing. 5. Both receptionists were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. 6. Even before our arrival, the hotel kept following up and responded promptly to all my questions via Trip.com. Everything about this stay—from the thoughtful service to the serene view—made our Furong visit memorable.
