My welcome was very warm. There was complimentary pick up from the train station, and oranges and candies waiting when I arrived. The old house/hotel was charming, with amazing views over the old town. It was inside the scenic area, which means it was an 8 minute walk to everywhere. The proprietress was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. My room was coziness itself! Breakfast was adequate enough to keep me fueled until lunch time. I would definitely stay again!

The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and most importantly, the bedding was clean, so I slept really well. The location is fantastic, directly opposite the Tianmen Mountain cable car lower station, just a few minutes' walk away. The owner was also very welcoming and helped me with my luggage. The front desk even gave us some oranges! There are plenty of restaurants in this area too, so it's a great spot. It's about a 20-minute drive from Zhangjiajie West Station.

At night, enjoy the illuminated waterfall, with its golden-purple cascade blending with the ancient town's starlight. Sitting on the balcony, brewing tea and admiring the view, you truly become a relaxed wanderer amidst the landscape. What's even more impressive is how the guesthouse balances stunning views with comfort. Excellent soundproofing blocks out the waterfall's roar, leaving only the visual spectacle. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. When we arrived at noon with our suitcases, the owner immediately helped us with our luggage, and his wife was also very kind. The inn is about a fifteen-minute walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. However, the double room on the second floor doesn't get any sunlight, so it can be a bit dark. The twin room gets sunlight and would be a better option, so I'd recommend booking a twin room.

Excellent location. the restaurant next to the hotel is pretty decent (not sure if there is better ones around, but since we stayed only 1N and has limited stomach capacity...) the view from the balcony at night is simply amazing. the hot water may be a bit weak (considering it is winter period now), otherwise everything is good. do contact the hotel to check for recommended transport arrangement from the furongzhen station (if you are taking hsr). otherwise the location at this hotel is pretty good. it is almost like the central spot with path linking to different parts of the town you want to visit.

Perfect homestay in Zhangjiajie National Park. The rooms are amazing, spacious and huge bath with great views. The owner is so kind and attentive, she drove us to the national park entrance (5 min drive). She helped us plan our excursion to the national park too. Breakfast on site or they will provide a packed lunch for early starts. It is around 30 mins in a DiDi to Zhangjiajie city but this was perfect for the kind of rural stay we wanted. Would highly recommend!

The stay at the hotel was excellent, the room was SUPER comfortable. The view was incredible and even more beautiful at night. The host, Quang, is an excellent person, always treating us beyond our expectations, giving us a ride to the train station, providing extra tea, and taking care of our stay in a super professional and dedicated manner. The best hotel service I've had in all of China. 

The lady who received us is very helpful. Help us book tickets and guide us how to visit the national forest various attractions. As my friend does want to walk too much, she tells us which path to avoid and what are the must visit attractions. On the 1st day her husband sent us to the park entrance foc. It os5 very easy to book DiDi ehailing private hire to go to national forest. I will stay when I come back to wulinyuan. The hotel is located in the street where there are continent shops, restaurant shops that sell breakfast. It is a 10 mins walk to the town center where you find many restaurants and shops.

Good choice... I booked a day before i went there, they arranged for me to be brought from and after Railway to the hotel. Buy attraction ticket prior to coming, coz you will need it prior to entering since the hotel is in the scenic Area itself. Good decision to book a hotel. Enjoyed the night at the Furong town scenic area and rested well. Managed to go back to the scenic area in the morning before leaving.

The B&B's location is a bit out of the way, and the exterior isn't particularly striking, but the room's decor and furnishings were clearly chosen with great care. The room I booked was over 100 square meters, with its own tea room and panoramic glass windows, perfect for enjoying the view while sipping tea. The complimentary fruit platter and snacks were fresh and delicious. The absolute highlight was the butler at the front desk; his service was truly exceptional, going above and beyond to meet every request with an excellent attitude. I left something at my previous B&B, and he actually drove there himself to retrieve it for me – I was incredibly touched! The B&B's breakfast is a freshly prepared set menu with a good variety, and the beef noodles were especially tasty. I truly hope this B&B continues to thrive and flourish.
