The service is very good and comfortable. The breakfast is rich. The afternoon tea is amazing. The video route guide is very detailed. The road from the pier is basically flat. I thought it was very far at first, but actually it was okay when I walked down. The butler said to follow the navigation route. It's not easy to walk around; the sound insulation effect of the room is not very good, but that's understandable because it's an old house renovated. Staying one night on Gulangyu Island is really comfortable! ! come back next time!

Before I checked in, I knew Qishang Hotel. I saw that Qishang House was newly opened on Gulangyu Island. It was the same group Qishang and placed an order. It was very comfortable and suitable for vacation. The hotel is next to Gulangyu Ecological Park. The environment is naturally avoiding the world. It is a good place to avoid the crowds on Gulangyu Island. I like the corridor of the hotel very much. I can have breakfast while basking in the sun. It is also very suitable for reading a book in a daze. Children also like to stroll in the yard of the corridor. I haven't been to Gulangyu for a long time. I like to walk the island at night. At night, the kittens are out of the street. The children are super happy to chase. During the stay, the housekeeper Winnie went to the pier to pick us up and send us to the hotel. Fruits, pineapple and children's toothbrushes were also prepared in the room. Another housekeeper, Roger, also helped prepare the baby's tableware when he served us lunch, which was quite intimate and thoughtful. Will come back for vacation, recommended!

For the first time in life, A hotel that I would never leave. The waiter who picked me up from the ferry terminal was wearing black Chinese overalls, carrying a white canvas bag, and holding a yellow umbrella... When we arrived at the hotel gate, the girl in white with a big smile came out to greet us... When we entered the lobby, we were immediately served with welcome tea (Picture 1). We opened our towels, wiped our hands, and drank tea while waiting to check in... Brother Huang Umbrella and a manager sent us to the room, and explained the facilities and supporting facilities in detail, and even demonstrated how to secure the room door... Then go to the coffee shop and enjoy the exquisite afternoon tea provided by the hotel. The tables and chairs in the cafe are all medieval, which appeals to my aesthetic taste... What I didn't expect is that the desserts taste better than those in professional shops outside! Also, after learning that we were here for our wedding anniversary, the hotel immediately upgraded our room for free. What a surprise. The hotel is where the famous piano master Yin Chengzong received piano enlightenment from an early age. There are only 13 rooms, and the overall decoration style is retro and high-end. I held my camera and couldn't stop taking pictures... Breakfast was also very good. Every waiter is kind and polite. If you come to Gulangyu Island, I highly recommend staying at Hongtang.

When planning our trip to Gulangyu I had a clear objective in mind, I wanted to stay at Lee Manor. So we splurged a little and book at this very charming hotel built in 1920. Service is obviously top notch and we appreciated the little details like the pick up at the ferry with a bottle of refreshing tea, the suggestions for our dinner spot, the complimentary (and gorgeous) afternoon tea. I was impressed by the facilities, the building itself is gorgeous and all the decor elements are beautiful and well thought. Not being able to go back home in Europe for more then 15 months, this place reminded us Italy and it was a a soothing feeling for us both. A full Chinese breakfast is included in the price and there is an option of bread for Westerners. For that price I would have expected (and enjoyed) a cup of coffee but unfortunately I was told that the coffee machine was broken. The hotel is superbly located and the rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities. Our room was on the second floor, in the old building. The poor sound insulation could be a problem though for light sleepers (or if your neighbors are noisy). I could clearly hear the conversation the couple had in the room next door so I would suggest bringing earplugs for a better sleep. We loved our stay on the island and at Lee Manor! Thank you very much for the hospitality!

I loved this hotel. It is well designed and the staff were very friendly and willing to help. They have a dedicated wechat that you can contact for help during anytime if the day. It was easy to find, not far from the ferry pier and they sent be directions a day before arriving. The hotel was also near to a beach. The breakfast was fully vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious and well presented . The room itself was a little small, and the only issue was the shower was in the middle between the basin and the toilet. However there was an issue with my first room and they upgraded me to a better room. This room was bigger and the shower was bigger and also not in the middle. The room was clean and they provide free drinks . Due to the covid outbreak in Xiamen I was due to stay here six days but only ended up staying 2 nights as I needed to leave Xiamen . The hotel was kind enough to fully refund me the 4 nights I had booked and this was a major plus on their side. On check out they gave me some water while I was waiting and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel .

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. I have been to Gulangyu Island many times. Most of the B&Bs in historical buildings have small and trendy rooms. This B&B is unexpectedly good and has a good environment. It is in Sunlight Rock and lying on the bed outside the window. Sunlight Rock can be seen, and the big balcony overlooks Xiamen at night, the Twin Towers, Gulangyu Island Bagua Tower, etc., and I think the bedding in this B&B has reached the standard of a hotel, which is great. I recommended it to my friends. I booked two rooms. It was very good. My mother liked it very much. She wanted to stay for one more night. 👍Big thumbs up. ps: The boss lady looks very much like Rainie Yang

The rooms were clean and the service is always available. Enjoyed coming back to the hotel after long ours walking to be greeted from the staff with a big smile and asked if I needed any help. If I come back to Gulangyu I’d definitely stay here again
