Good location and clean room. Located in the heart of Sabak city. Will definitely choose the hotel again.

The room was very clean and comfy to stay. Easy to check in and we dint have to wait for a longer time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Near to Padi field and Redang Beach. Easy to find seafood restaurant nearby. Definitely will come again. Thank you for great hospitality.

They call this a “homestay,” which almost deterred me from staying here. It’s actually a pleasant hotel that just lacks a 24 hour front desk — I think it’s staffed during daylight hours — and relies on an electronic kiosk for check in and check out. There’s no cafe or restaurant, but there are food vending machines in the lobby and restaurants nearby. You’ll want to come with your own transportation. That said, we had a very pleasant stay there, and if you don’t require hotel services, you will too. The hotel is located in one of the many concrete, box-like structures that you’ll see in the padi fields around Sekinchan. These used to be commercial nesting houses for the swiftlets whose saliva nests are used to make birds’ nest soup. Normally the swiftlets nest in caves in remote areas, which makes harvesting the nests difficult. But if you have plenty of swiftlets and no caves, as in Sekinchan, you can build an artificial cave and have a business. I guess that business didn’t thrive, and many of these bird nest houses have been repurposed into alternative uses like this one. The hotel is constructed entirely of concrete (floors, walls, ceilings). The rooms are adequate in size with a huge window providing an excellent view over the rice fields. The rooms are immaculate; air conditioning is good; and a station providing filtered drinking water is available next to the elevator on each floor to refill your water bottles. The kiosk-based check in and check out works well, but is inflexible. If you want to extend your stay you still have to use the kiosk to check out on your original date of departure and check in again. Even though you’re paying for the next day, the kiosk still will charge you a significant penalty if you don’t complete the check out by 12 o’clock check out time. This is weird and inconvenient (and the front desk staff don’t tell you these details), but if you know the rule you can easily manage it. The limited front desk staff speak only Chinese, with the exception of one older lady who frequently isn’t there but is reachable by phone. The hotel has a few set ups in the back (swing, heart-shaped seat and staircase to nowhere) to help you get Instagram-worthy photos on the spot. These seemed to be very popular with young couples staying there. There are several casual restaurants nearby, including a good Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks away, plus lots of Chinese restaurants. (The population of Sekinchan is 80% Chinese.) I came here to photograph the abundant kingfishers that nest in the banks of the irrigation canals running through the rice fields. Padi Sentral was perfect for my needs — comfortable room, perfect location, inexpensive).

This time I stayed in a room with low water pressure, the bathroom is so small that the bathroom door can't be opened and closed until the end. wonderland is only open from 10am-6pm compared to before until late at night. there are trampoline playgrounds that close occasionally. used to be a shock, now it's a bit less welcome. But for us, we are very happy to be able to bathe in all the pools.

nice place for relax, good view for padi farm, jz morning breakfast abit fast finished. overall is good. will recommend friend and family come again.

Little Kampung Studio is a 2-star property situated in Teluk Intan. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. At the hotel, all rooms come with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and free toiletries, all rooms at Little Kampung Studio have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms also boast a balcony. At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. The nearest airport is Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, 83 km from Little Kampung Studio.

While not as luxurious as those you find in KL, this hotel does hold itself up very well. Even in a major city like Ipoh, you will be hard pressed to find hotels suitable for tourists. While the design is a little old, with non-air conditioned corridors, the modern amenities are fairly well furnished. The wifi was stable, and hot water flow was consistent. Located just outside of the main town, all it takes is a 5 minute drive. It’s location also allows quick exit back to the NS-highway without fighting the bustling morning traffic. Just across the main road is the popular Tai Chong seafood restaurant. The twin room we had was adequately sized, and feels very homely. The air conditioning is the household split multi-unit type, so you can control the temperature better then typical central systems in most hotels. The only toiletries provided was a pump-action dispenser for body wash. The cafe at the lobby makes surprising good coffee. A pity I only got to enjoy on my last day as I was leaving.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it's located near Menara Condong. The jacuzzi is clean and nice. Toiletries are complete, bed is clean. View is very nice also. Very comfortable. The owner is friendly. Will definitely come back. Teluk Intan is a calm and relaxing place. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you so much for the kind hospitality!

There were 4 bad spirits that kept on disturbing me in Room 1-1 while I was asleep. They kept on touching me until I couldn't sleep at all. When I could no longer tolerate, I woke up my husband and told him to bring his pillow and shift to our friend's room instead. In there the bad spirit still followed me so I barely sleep the entire night. On the following day, I made a complaint to the Front Desk and I was told that they are in fact aware of such bad spirits especially in Room 1-1. I was so upset and told them that they should not allow this to happen. They should at least conduct prayer to that room so that the bad spirits will leave and will be at peace; otherwise, they should not open the room for guests to occupy. Worst is, the bad spirit still followed me to Kuala Lumpur. The whole night I was not feeling well and could not sleep at all. On the following day, I was totally sick and was suffering from a terrible headache; that was the time that I called on my Sifu friend to come over to my office and have me checked. Upon conducting prayers, I felt a bit better already. On that night, I was already feeling well and was able to sleep peacefully. The sifu told me that the one who followed me was an old lady. I plea to the management of this hotel to offer more prayers to those poor spirits so they will be in peace.
