Thus, we are able to enjoy the afternoon high tea and also the late nigh snack before & after the shopping trip around ZhongSan shopping area.

The best thing is for sure the location very central and surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shopping etc.
The room design very nice and modern, it was comfortable but it wasn’t very clean to be honest. Staff speaks zero English but I understand almost all the guest are Chinese so they don’t think they need to invest. Even if no English is spoken, staff is nice and communicates via app - they share their WeChat and communication is easy.
The very disappointing thing was the breakfast. It was advertised as Chinese and Western but it was 100% Chinese only. I read in some review responses they said that dishes change every day therefore on some days there may only be Chinese food. However, it was really beyond that - there is not even coffee or tea for breakfast! Only soy milk. I live in China and I am used to Chinese breakfast but my friend was very disappointed.

It is a small hotel on a single floor (L3) but the room is big. The front desk staff helped me to change to a quieter room for free. This location is near many of the main attractions and there's lots of food downstairs. Minus 1 point for cleanliness as I realised that they did not clean below the beds.

The location being close to the train station was convenient, although the GPS confusion due to the hotel's orientation might have caused a bit of inconvenience. It's great to hear that the reception staff was helpful and the check-in process was smooth. Having water available at the reception for guests returning from day trips is a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast offering might have been limited, but it's nice that it was still a good meal. The convenience of having all rooms on the same level is a practical feature, making it easy to move around. It’s also wonderful that the staff were friendly and accommodating to your needs. Overall, it sounds like a comfortable stay with good service!

I had a great stay at the htoel. The place was spotless, and the reception team, especially Xiao Chen and Xiao Ting, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel the enthusiasm of the staff, which made me feel like I was in the spring breeze. The room was clean and tidy, spotless, and the facilities were not only complete, but also very smart and convenient to use. It was very quiet to sleep at night, and the sound insulation was excellent. The breakfast was rich in variety and could meet the needs of all tastes. The surrounding facilities were also very complete, and there was no need to worry about shopping and traveling. I will choose this place again next time I travel!

DDavis LimUpon check in, Manager Andy was at the reception and offered an upgrade when he saw that I was with my eighty years old mother and children.
He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be.
The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view.
Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

It was not only tidy but also well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay incredibly comfortable. One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day.
I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay.
Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room.
Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. GGuest UserTreasure Hotel. I came to Xiamen for a meeting. The designated hotel for the meeting was 800 per night, and the transportation was inconvenient. So I looked for the nearby Treasure Hotel. There was a convenience store downstairs, everything was available around, and the transportation was convenient.
The key is that the double-story suite is less than half the price, 100 square meters, Xiaomi TV, various memberships, washing machines, stoves, etc. can meet various daily needs, and the room is quite clean and hygienic.
More importantly, the room service is on call, the service attitude is super good, and it meets all kinds of needs. It really feels like making yourself at home.
I can't help but sigh that hotel accommodation in Xiamen has reached this level. This business trip experience is excellent, and most of it is the credit of the hotel. It turns out that the accommodation environment can really determine a person's mood.

RRam KondaAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

GGuest UserWhen I write a review, I always put in perspective the price I can paying for and it's competitiness in the country.
1. Cleanliness is good. Housekeeper is friendly and accommodating.
2. Hail a car from airport to hotel cost about Sgd5 and less than Sgd5 from hotel to airport for me. Actual will depend on your App and cars you pick.
3. Hotel location is impeccable with the starting point of Zhongshan Road right below the Hotel.
4. Staff is helpful and friendly.
5. Breakfast is decent for the price. The range is not extensive, but one has to look at the price you are paying for. Coffee maker at Libby makes freshly brewed coffee.
6. There is a little gym for simple workout.
Overall, it is a satisfactory experience and I have no complaints.

GGuest UserFirst of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

Their staffs were very responsive and helpful. Especially one of the front desk staff, Cameron. He doesn’t have a friendly face but he was very attentive to details and try his best to go the extra miles to make sure our stay is comfortable. 👍

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
