The hotel is great, but the bar hasn't opened yet. The hotel has a small plywood and a scale! ! ! The girl was ecstatic. Some of the reviews said that the soundproofing was not good, so she specially requested a room with good soundproofing. There was no sound to disturb her sleep. The location of the hotel is also great, with Bell Tower Community, Big and Small Study Alleys and Sajinqiao snacks nearby. The street is also very close to the city wall. It's great. First I want to say that I LOVE this hotel and my wife and I did not want to leave. The service was great and the bed was the softest most comfortable bed in all of China. It was juuuust right. The location was not horrible by now means, but it wasn’t the best either. It is on line one but most attractions are on line two. Your about a 30 minute walk to the nearest attraction and over an hour to others. This was not a huge problem though and you could easily see the wall across the street from our window. The bar was closed due to covid, which I found weird but that’s ok. The restaurant was out of most on the menu and I honestly found it as the lowest part of the hotel overall. If you don’t mind staying a little bit away from attractions, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for one night while traveling in Xi'an. Someone recommended it before and said that this hotel has a good environment. After arriving, I found that the environment is not bad. The advantage is that it is relatively close to the city center. But to be honest, I don’t recommend it for traveling, because this hotel is not close to any subway station. The nearest two subway stations take about 20 minutes to walk. It is not feasible to take a taxi, because there is a road nearby that is jammed all year round. If you take a taxi, Just wait for ten minutes over there. The environment in the room is okay, and the size is okay, but it is very hot. It is so hot that I need to open the windows at night, but after opening the windows at night, it is extremely noisy outside. There is a restaurant or something next to it, and it is being tidied up all the way. Glass bottle? I kept hearing their clattering sounds all night long. Anyway, I got up several times at 4, 5, 3 or 4 in the morning, and I heard their sounds every time. Also, the design of the latch is very special. How do you insert the latch next to the desk? Excellent hotel in good location, room very well appointed. Stay was especially comforting with the warm level of service by hotel staff. I would like to commend front office staff 孙陆who spent time in helping my wife and I set up WeChat DIDI and giving us his personal number to call at any time if we encountered issues. The morning breakfast service staff, 尹改利 and her teammates are happy in serving and awesome, making our 6.30am breakfast a great start for the day. Thank you 尹改利 & your colleagues for the wonderful breakfast mornings. Eastern House is fortunate to have such hardworking and enthusiastic employees. The hotel definitely has a 1950s luxury vibe, it's a part of a large Renmin Square hotel complex that share some facilities (notably a great swimming pool in the next building). The location is great, walking distance to the city centre and like 7 min from metro. The hotel made a mistake in my booking and upgraded me to a suite as a result (which was nice but that room was not ready so I had to wait). The suite was nice, with a comfortable bed and pretty much twice everything I needed. Also two wifis - only the Renmin one worked, the hotel one recommended by reception did not work at all. The room had like 20 switches next to the bed, I picked the 'Night' one - bad surprise, it also switches off the bedside socket so I woke up to a discharged phone.

I booked it on Ctrip and was given Zhibei Tower. The room was old and small, and the pillow wouldn't bounce back when I pressed it. I wanted to ask for another pillow, but the front desk said they wouldn't give it to me. The room is not soundproofed, and you can hear the outside sounds clearly. There are mosquitoes at night, and the air conditioner roars. You must turn it off when sleeping, otherwise it will be too noisy to sleep. Breakfast was also very average. I was given a room in the building on the south side when I was training with my employer in mid-July. The conditions were better than this time, and the room was bigger. The first time I came to Xi'an, I stayed at Yaduo in Dayan Pagoda. This time I stayed at Yaduo on Huimin Street. The quality of Yaduo is still very guaranteed. The service is very good and considerate. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a bus stop at the door and a 2-minute walk. Minutes from the subway station. You can walk to Sajin Bridge and close to the Bell Tower. It would be perfect if the breakfast were richer. The location is wonderful, right next to a subway station! There are also great markets right outside the front door to buy fruit, local food, and much more. The rooms are cleaned very well every day, and service from the front desk and from room service are very helpful. We even got advice on sightseeing from one of the receptionists. The only slight problem is that in the area near the elevators, there is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Otherwise, wonderful hotel!
