The room was clean and the staff very helpful.

The surrounding areas are amazing easy access to the city centre. So obvious that they never check under the bed there is a big tissue paper manage to pick it up before we check out. I give this hotel to 4 stars.

price reasonable. location is easy to reach. not clean as expected. service is just average. you pay what you get

The hotel is placed just outside of the centre, which a short 5 minute walk. The centre is a busy one so it suited us as a family. Check in and check out was easy as it was all online, so no waiting in long queues, however the front desk does get very busy. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean. One of the lifts wasn’t working which is a small issue as there are 12 floors and a lot of guests, so waiting for them could sometimes be a little stressful. My only gripe is the breakfast. Often the food was cold, or just missing. Coffee machine wasn’t working, it’s badly designed so you can’t move around the food easily. Certain eggs you had to order but we tried that and they never materialised. Plates and bowls in weird places (nothing at all by the toast). It could be run much better. The food was average at best. It really let the hotel down in that respect. Otherwise, everything was fab. You do get noise from the road below but it’s a busy location, so it’s to be expected. We’d definitely stay here again if in the area or if we were going on a cruise the next day.

Good hotel right in the centre of Southampton. Parking is a touch tricky and is about £11 a day. 16 hours. Free 0000-0759

Good clean hotel, prompt service

Brilliant location near the centre of town, convenient for the railway station and cruise ports. Room has everything you need, more importantly it’s quiet. Staff very friendly.

Was a nice room, but the TV didn’t work. Slightly loud outside so noise isn’t completely blocked out. Breakfast was decent and staff are really friendly.

Clean and comfortable chain hotel. Restaurant hours were limited over the festive period. Breakfast basic but ok for what we paid. Rooms very standard but beds extremely comfy. Bathrooms need a refurb. Good WiFi. Would stay again.
