Wonderful hotel as always

The hotel environment is okay. The reason why I gave it such a bad review is because the hotel arranged a small seven-passenger bus for us. I forgot my small bag on the bus, and I still have more than 2,000 Australian dollars in my passport, ID card, and the hotel kept saying they couldn't find it. As for the driver of the car dealership, there was no news for several hours. Until I went to the police station to call the police and the police called to ask, they said that the CCTV did not capture me taking the bag, and they said that it was not in the car. I paid for the meal at the restaurant at 1:40, and went to the lobby to take the bus at 1:50. The bag is in the car. In short, they just refused to take responsibility and find me a driver. I didn't expect an international five-star resort to do such a thing. The hotel's car operator could tell me which car I couldn't find. After calling the police, I immediately told the police that they had found it for me and couldn't find it. They didn't contact me for several hours to tell me if they could find it, even though they knew I needed my passport to board the plane. Everyone should be careful when checking into such a completely irresponsible hotel. I couldn't get to the hotel all night and was penniless, all because the hotel arranged a car for me. If I call Uber directly, I can still find the car owner and get the certificate back without paying cash. But the hotel refused to hand over the driver and license plate. I really didn’t know what to do in a foreign country.

There is a large lagoon pool within the hotel, so you can fully enjoy the resort feeling within the hotel. Port Douglas was a very comfortable place where time seemed to flow more slowly, so I definitely recommend it.

It's really bad. There is no safe guard in the outdoor pool. The water depth is 2 meters 2 without any sign. The facilities are old and the air conditioner in the room leaked all night. The outdoor environment is beautiful. The worst resort hotel I have ever stayed in. The managers all hung up one by one🙄🙄

Super super bad experience, no matter the old facilities or almost no service, it can not be called a five-star standard at all. Samsung is reluctant. Don't choose a garden view villa. At the corner of the corner, the hotel's own employees have looked for it. For half a day, living in is like going to jail. You can’t go anywhere you want. You are very frustrated. If you want to go to the front desk to change room type, you have to walk for 20 minutes in the heavy rain and mud. So I called the hotel three times to urge the hotel to send a car and wait for an hour. , I was too late, and I found at the front desk that more than our family wanted to change rooms, because it was really bad, I would rather spend twice the money to change rooms, and then the first time I encountered an increase in money, I would never let the room change. In the hotel, I just tossed until 6 pm, I decided to give up, refund the reservation for the next 4 days, and then go back to the room and go to jail until the next morning. After I can see the surrounding road, I can quickly change the hotel after I can go out. There is not one bad Sheraton. Finally, I would like to thank an Asian staff member, who could not wait for the hotel car. In the evening, the elderly and children trudged back to the room in heavy rain. An Asian staff member saw that they were invited to get in the car and sent them off because of the villa. It's so hard to find, and the employees have been searching for it for a long time. In short, don't live, it's very worthless

The Hotel is nice and grand, however multiple small annoyances drive the score down. A lot of the management staff are not helpful and rude. The place is overall run down. During our stay we were impacted by no water for over 7 x days. Whilst this is not caused by hotel, they could have done more to assist with the stay and frustrations of not showering for 7 days. Also food menu needs to be updated as its same as it were 2 years ago. Have stayed here multiple times as has my family and hotel and staff + everything else as a holiday continues to trend downwards in experience rather than up. On p ositive, GM of hotel is nice and helpful.

It was quite old and given the price we paid to not have air conditioning or clean room was very disappointing

Even during the cyclone the team were fantastic and tried their best to keep us informed and try to keep the facilities open. Extremely well done to all the staff.

The property is great. But they need to pay more attention to detail with the cleanliness of the rooms. Our bathroom vent was clocked with dust, the shower glass screen needed a good clean, one of the handles on the bathroom door was missing, there was something light brown looking dripping down the wall- ?fake tan maybe, there was mouldy coconut flakes outside our bedroom window from a prior guest that had not been cleaned. Besides the cleanliness of the room, the pool area was great with lots of chairs and umbrellas to choose from. The cocktails at the swim up bar were average- perhaps some more practice was needed by the bar staff. The breakfast was great. I’d happily come back

My kids and I had a lovely stay at the Sheraton Port Douglas. If you have the opportunity while staying, hire a cabana by the pool. Preferably one with ladder access to the pool. It makes for a fun relaxing day.

The pool was very clean and very peaceful , because so many to choose from not crowded at all.
