Good size room, bigger than many hotels in Japan.. There are 3 of us, and we still have decent walking space with our luggage open. Hotel is a bit far from Dotonbori, so it's quite a walk, especially on rainy days. No point taking train as it's about same walking time from train stations. It will be nice if hotel can provide bottled water. Room is clean and nice.

Location is great, service was good and breakfast was the best. It was near the famous Glico man. It is also within walking distance to Parco and other great stores. ABC Mart, Uniqlo, Atmos are near. As to food trips, there are a lot of ramen places around. Namba Station is about 1 kilometer away, which can be easily be walked even with luggages, where you can board the Nankai Line to Kansai Airport. Yes, the airport is just a train ride away, no need to hire expensive private transfers.

The entire experience is petrified. I have never ever had so horrible experience in my entire life due to the foreign staff who is not Asian nor Japanese. The foreign staff is a guy with the cap on. As a tourist I forget to take off my shoes when I came to the hostel that made sense. Also it was the only and first time I made the mistake. He then shouted at me and pissed off by saying please Obey OUR Rule whilst other Japanese staff just said Oh she forgets only instead of shouting and being so rude. The Japanese understand I did not do it on purpose or have any intention of breaking their rule. The foreign staff looks so bossy as this is his hostel and he is the boss. He speaks fluent Japanese. I seriously don't understand why the hostel hire this rude person. Come on I know you want to make it international. He might brought his very rude culture from the middle east. The white people or Asian will not behave like this. I am not asking for a five star hotel service but at the very least treat your guest with respect. Obey is a strong word and I know he is not an English speaker but he is unbelievably rude. In the hospitality industry even though it is a hostel it needs service basic service and at the very least being polite. As if I owed him a lot come on I am a guest. Another staff like the Japanese girl and the owner Japanese guy are nice especially the girl called naka and she was very sweet to ask where would I go and giving suggestion. Apart from that the TV is amazing coz you turn up loud it's the same as silence Like other review said it is very noisy especially on Friday night. Staring from 4:30 in the morning someone was brushing teeth and locked and opened their door. It happened on every hour. I did not get a good night of sleep. I cannot wait to get out of this hell as I worried to make other mistake or forget something like take off the shoes and get shouted by the big boss from middle East. I will not come due to this guy. Taking to the local mere y who sold the skewer about the Japan is getting international. The old say is Japanese refused the immigration. There are not much white people only up to 2. But tons of the Middle East people who worked in restaurant hostel supermarkets or clothes shop. They are rude like the male Middle East staff in the hostel. The local said he welcome tourists not immigrant Japanese culture emphasis on politeness and repect. This rude staff ruined my trip and my good impression about Japan. Ask me to obey okay I will not be back to your hostel. And even in China have much better service then you. I will not come to Japan and spendinf money for such disgraceful treatment . Thank you Middle East staff you just ruined my trip in Japan. This is utterly unpleasant.

I checked in late and forgot to take a picture of the room. I like that the window opens. Since it is next to the road, you can hear the sound of cars when it is open. You can hear it even when it is closed, and you can hear loud cars or motorcycles even more. I knew that, so I didn't care. I chose this place because I like having a separate space to sit by the window, but I overlooked the fact that there was no dressing table. Thanks to that, I can live a life where I use and organize things every day... I only have a carrier that opens on one side, so the room was not inconvenient, but it might be a little narrow for those who have to open it on both sides. There is no carrier stand. The bed, pillows, and blankets fit well. There were some reviews that it smelled in July, but I am usually sensitive to smells, so it was okay. The pajamas are long-sleeved pants and disposable slippers. I accidentally touched the bathroom mirror and was surprised by the high temperature, but I think it's because of the anti-fog function. The shower water temperature on the bathtub side is hot, so you have to set it close to the blue 0 degrees to get the right amount of hot water. The bathroom has herbal shampoo, conditioner, body wash, foaming hand wash (for both face and body), toothbrush and toothpaste, and the desk on the first floor has shower towels, razors, cotton swabs, etc. There is no basic provision of bottled water, and only one bottle per person is provided when you do not request cleaning for multiple nights. There is an ice maker, vending machine, and washer/dryer on the second floor. There is an ice bucket, a Balmuda electric kettle, and the water cups and coffee cups are cute. I tend to use the electric kettle even though it gets stains. The drip coffee provided in the room was delicious. The only regret is that the shower curtain was a little undermaintained, and there was quite a bit of dust in the area where the hair dryer blows. The bedside table, the area where the deodorizer is hung, and the TV remote control also need more dust management. Personally, I prefer hotels that are a little farther away than those connected to the station because it is easier to see things here and there, and this was perfect. There is a 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby, and there are more convenience stores down the alley. On the way from the station to the hotel, there is a Tsutaya and Starbucks in the Kansai University Umeda Campus building, and across from the hotel is a Junkudo bookstore and a loft. The staff are friendly, but I think they are generally chicly friendly. You can receive parcels, and you can store your luggage on the day of check-out. I think I will consider this place again next time I stay in Umeda.

This is not the first time we stay at Karaksa joint. After our previous stay at Karaksa Saporro, we decided to try in Osaka. If you take exit 4 from Shin-Osaka Station, you can take a 3 minute walk to Karaksa Shin Osaka Tower Hotel. Reception is at 2nd floor, it was quick service and easy. We reserved 2 bed and 3 bed , total of 2 rooms connecting. It was convenient for party of 5 travelers. The amenities including electric converter was provided in the room. What we like about Karaksa is the bed, bathroom, and room is very confortable. English translated system on TV, AC and Laundry as well. 4 laundry machines with coins in located at 4th floor. Very convenient. During the rainy days, towels are provided at the entrance for free. You can also monitor the status of the laundry machine as well. What a service, we love it We love staying at this hotel, definitely recomended for family stay.

I stayed with a baby plan (mom support plan) in May with a 5 month old infant. Supper is a room meal, breakfast is also a private room (with tatami mats) in the restaurant, and during the meal, cushions and bath towels were laid thick on the tatami mats to put the infant to sleep, so you can enjoy a delicious meal slowly. did. In addition, the disinfection set of baby bottles and rental of bath chairs are included in the plan, so it was saved without having to carry heavy luggage during the trip. The staff were also very kind and very memorable and enjoyable. I am very grateful!

PPak HangThe hotel is located close to the Exit 5 of the Green and Brown Lines of Osaka Metro. However, prepare a strong heart because when you arrive to the exit you will have to climb 4 floors of stairs to reach the hotel every time. The other exit with lift is further away. The hotel itself I will only classify as a modernised INN rather than a stared hotel, not as per its name stated. The cleaning services are not up to the standards you would expect for normal hotels in Japan. The breakfast itself is another downside if you live here more than four nights, because you would only have four choices everyday every time you go down. The chef made good food but, having stayed here for 9 nights you will get sick and tired of the breakfast pretty soon. Rather, I would recommend just go to local Japanese supermarkets to shop for breakfast and bento for the next day.

GGuest UserPerfect Location, close to Umeda Eki/Osaka Station. A great place if you enjoy shopping. But!! The room we lived in has poor drainage in the toilet. The water was leaking on the ground, which made the floor very slippery. We contacted the front desk in the morning however the problem was not resolved when we came back in the evening. Finally, a staff liaised for us and we finally changed to a new room. No compensation and I did not hear any apologies. Well, thank you for the help but it cost us some time and made me a bit uncomfortable. The new room was all good. Staffs are nice and friendly, polite. Thank you for the service. Considering the price, it's not that cost-effective from my point of view.

HHalsansanI stayed at this hotel because Aikata participated in the Osaka marathon. There is a deep shop around the hotel that can eat cheap and delicious things. If you use the hotel, you can enter and exit the hotel after checking in. The hotel has a different entrance and exit from the facility user, but you have to take off your shoes. Take your shoes to geta box and store them and walk barefoot in the hotel. Is the room simple and business hotel? However, the bed comfort was the best. There was also UB, but there was a large hot spring facility, so I didn't use the bus in the room. I was booked for one night, but this city was too fun to stay for another night. I negotiated and luckily I had a vacancy, so I ended up staying overnight.

Service is great and all but we requested a late checkout and they asked for $100 just for an hour… Booked a room for three and it’s just an extra bed added to a twin room so it was crazy cramped I couldn’t even open my luggage.

AAi PengExceptional service - the front desk helped me to arrange taxi to the airport and it was not easy because they were fully booked. The person tried many times and finally found a taxi for us, much to our relief. The front desk is trained to ask all the right questions, staying calm. They also helped to receive my transferred luggage from another hotel. All timely and accurately. It deserved a 6 star for such exceptional service. The hotel ambience has a calming effect as it is dark but lighted on the areas that you need to see. We have no problem even though some people commented on it. Great location Room size is comfortable and considered a fair size, in fact, slightly larger and well planned. Breakfast has a good spread. Think it is great to open at 6.30 am as it gives maximum time to have an early start. Highly recommended for couple and families.

GGuest User[ENG]: I've never had such a ridiculous experience at a hotel in any country I've been to. On my final night, I returned to the hotel at around 9:30pm to drop off some things without any problem, but when I returned again about two hours later, I couldn't get into my room. After trying to enter the password several times, I went to the lobby but there was nobody at reception. Instead, there was a sign with three accounts (LINE, WhatsApp and Wechat) and a local phone number. My partner and I added two of these accounts and tried to call and message but nobody picked up or replied. I also knocked on the door to the offices but nobody replied there either. After attempting for quite a while, we finally paid for an account to call international numbers and dialed the Japanese number. The person who picked up said she was not on duty that night and that she would contact the person on shift. A bit later, that person came down in pyjamas and slippers. When I enquired why he hadn't responded to our messages and calls, he said that he was in the shower and ”why didn't [I] call the local number”. I explained the situation to him and he said he would help us after he helped a couple who was checking in (who had just arrived). This took an additional ten minutes in which we were just waiting in the hallway in front of our room with three bags. When he finally arrived, he gave lots of excuses as to why the password might have been changed, but offered zero solutions. He even asked me if I wanted to know the new password since I would be ”checking out the following morning anyway”. This unprofessional attitude completely ruined the entire experience on an otherwise lovely holiday and I write this review in four languages in the hope that nobody else has to fall victim to the same experience.

Very Good
HHktphongThe hotel as a whole needs to be clean as well, because you live on a higher floor and have a good view. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is also convenient to go to Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. There is also a railway station nearby.
