Holiday Inn Express Nice - Grand Arenas Reviews

The hotel location is strategic, just a 5-minute walk from Nice Saint-Augustin train station. The tram to the airport is free from Grand Arenas station, making transportation very convenient. We booked a Mountain View Twin Room but were given a lower-quality room instead (please refer to the photo). Additionally, we had to request a room change due to a serious bed issue—the mattress was split in half, which was quite shocking as they were still using a damaged mattress for guests. To their credit, the front desk responded immediately and changed our room. However, the new room still did not meet our expectations. The bed quality was poor, too soft, and provided no proper back support. Breakfast was also disappointing, with very limited options. The only hot food available was scrambled eggs and sausages, while everything else was cold. Coffee and juice were from a machine, which didn’t add much to the experience. Overall, the stay was tolerable for the price, but definitely not worth it given the quality of the rooms, beds, and breakfast. Would not recommend unless you’re on a very tight budget.

Nice place to stay for those who need to travel in the earliest morning. Helpful stuffs, clean interior, and great service!

Good and decent hotel to stay. Quite near the airport, you can go to the airport in the tram.

It is close to no where, not even airport. I had to take a tram and then drag my luggage walking 10 min to reach the hotel. Nice is a small city, just book another hotel in the city it will be more worth it

This stay was great! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were complete, the bedding was comfortable, the service staff was warm and thoughtful, and the location was easy to find. I will come again next time! The hotel is conveniently located and there are many delicious foods around. The room is warmly decorated and clean, and it is close to the airport and train station! The breakfast is rich and varied, and the staff is very considerate. I am very satisfied with this stay.

Facilities: All basic needs are available, including hairdryers and USB power sockets Hygiene: OK, it looks clean! Service: Just check-in and check-out, and the luggage was stored for free! Environment: The bedroom is simple and bright! The key is that this hotel is right next to the train station, which is very convenient for going to the surrounding towns and the city! The price is not high! Highly recommended! Disadvantages: The only thing is breakfast! I really can't accept it. I only eat bread/cereal, yogurt, ham/sausage, or scrambled eggs! Too simple!

The hotel is within walking distance from the airport and very close to the tram station. The front desk service is very good. There are no disposable items in the room, the breakfast is average, and the overall cost performance is high.

The room was clean and tidy. It was very close to the airport and within walking distance if it was not busy. The hotel upgraded me for free from Holiday Inn to Crowne Plaza. It was in the same building. The breakfast was very good and exceeded my expectations.

Hotel located near the airport and public transport. With tram stops a stone's throw away and the station equally to go both to the airport and to the city center. Strategic location both for those who have a car and for those who have to move by public transport. There are no shops nearby of any kind and also no clubs, except for the hotel restaurants. Kind and helpful staff, paid parking, and with a bit of luck you can find it nearby, even if there is a lot of work in this area (January 2024). Good and basic breakfast.

The room was very clean and the internet was fast. It was very close to the airport, and T1 was a 10-minute walk away. The front desk guy was very friendly and spoke Chinese when checking in. The check-out guy saw that we had an early flight and asked us to get snacks and coffee ourselves.
