It is a perfect location for exploring The Lakes, close enough to PM and far enough away to be peaceful. The hotel arranged a day's fishing for us and a local guide took us on the Desolation Pass walk - which was excellent."

"The cabins were very old. The one we were assigned didn't have an intercom, the windows were bad, the shower cut out in half, the remote control had no batteries, was freezing, the bathroom leaked and the entire floor was wet, and several other issues. We had to move cabins. The other cabin was better, but they still felt very old. It takes a long time to change towels every four days if we're in a cold place; they never dry. The maid service in the cabin doesn't replenish shampoo, soap, or towels. You have to ask for everything. They should include that in the details. The place is beautiful and incredible, all its facilities and entertainment areas are very good, but the old and poorly maintained cabins ruin everything."

"we liked: convenient location for lake and town centre friendly attentive staff large rooms bar food very good for lunch massages (excellent value) laundry (good place to wash clothes for reasonable price) we didn’t like : road noise dogs barking at night disturbing our sleep. no aircon so windows need to be open when hot weather = noisy. we enjoyed our stay except for noise at night. ( hotel could put in aircon to solve this problem.)."

"Wonderful hospitality from the young owners . Right from the start they made us feel welcome at their beautiful lodge. A lovely and tranquil place with views of two volcanoes and a great place to explore the beautiful area. Macarena and Rodrigo were very friendly and always willing to help. For example they made the booking for us to do the Llanquihue lake catamaran cruise the following day and gave us good references to nearby restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread/ local strawberries and eggs from their own hens! I'd suggest insect screen on the windows and improving the main street signage to make it easier to find the place. Thank you so much to you both, highly recommended!"

Its location allows to use public transportation to move along the lake and city's downtown, allowing a good connection to many different touristic points and different towns along the lake (namely Ensenada, Petrohué, Frutillar, Puerto Montt, among others)."
