Mercure Properties in Lanzhou

The front desk service was incredibly warm and proactive; they even upgraded our room! Check-in was super quick, and they upgraded our room type. We booked three rooms together and extended our stay for two more days. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Highly recommend! The location is also excellent.

The hotel was generally fine in all aspects, clean and tidy, and the room cleaning was also quite good. However, I was not very satisfied with the attitude of the staff at the noodle station during breakfast. I was told they would call me when my wontons were ready, but they put the wontons in and then forgot about them. People who came after me already had their noodles, but mine still weren't ready. The staff member had also disappeared, and there was no one at the workstation, nor were there many guests around. This kind of person should be fired.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of the Dongfanghong Square commercial district. With two subway lines just outside the door and numerous bus routes nearby, getting around is incredibly convenient. Downstairs, Guofang Department Store offers one-stop shopping and dining. It saves a lot of time getting to city attractions or business appointments. The rooms are clean and the service is attentive. It's definitely my top choice for business trips.

I absolutely have to praise this hotel! The breakfast selection is fantastic, delicious, and everything is clean and hygienic. The rooms are tidy and spacious, and the cleaning staff do a meticulous job. The front desk service is warm and attentive; they're always quick to help with any requests. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, it's conveniently located, and the price is very reasonable. I had such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend it to everyone!

I want to particularly highlight that the soundproofing in the room and the blackout curtains were excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. My suggestions would be to replace the current trash can with a larger one, as it's far too small. Also, the hairdryer's folding mechanism was loose, making it inconvenient to use. The front desk kindly replaced it, but the new one had the same issue.
