The room was larger than I expected and very clean. We stayed for 4 days, and the cleaning staff came to tidy up every day, even asking if we were satisfied. The hotel's location is also excellent; the British Museum is only 300 meters away. Bus routes 91 and 14 stop right outside, both going towards Big Ben and the National Gallery. Marks & Spencer is just a 500-meter walk, where we went daily to buy fruit and other groceries – there's a great selection. On our first day, we arrived in London from Gatwick Airport directly to King's Cross Station by train, and the walk to the hotel was only 1.3 km, which was super convenient! I highly recommend this hotel!

I always stay at this hotel every time I go to London. It is right outside the subway station, opposite Trafalgar Square, and only a dozen minutes' walk from Chinatown and Soho. The Thames is just a few minutes in the opposite direction, and Big Ben and the London Eye can be seen in ten minutes. However, among hotels with the same geographical location and comfortable environment, this one is the cheapest! !

The hotel breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall, a really great stay! [Rose Emoji]

Great staff, very friendly. The location was perfect for us, walkable distances to st Pancras train station, soho, covent garden, museums, big ben, gilian theatre etc. Nice restaurants nearby. The only downside is the room temperature... Way too hot, even when outside is only 15 degrees Celsius, inside you need a blanket to sleep.. If you dont like warm and cozy and prefer a cool room for a good nightsleep, don't stay here.

A brilliant stay at the Apex Temple over Christmas. Staff were very welcoming and professional, the rooms and the hotel were immaculate and the facilities were in great condition. We stayed between the 23rd - 27th and were so thankful we tried this hotel as it really did make a difference during our time in London. After spending the day travelling and sightseeing throughout London the close proximity to everything really helped as well as the hotel being set back from the road. As soon as you step into the courtyard with the music playing, it's like stepping into a difference city entirely protected from the bustling city outside. We ate at the restaurant once, I had the Shepherds Pie and it was delicious, same can be said for the room service breakfast which turned out to be a blessing as we missed the queue for breakfast out entirely. We also used the gym facilities a couple of times, being a hotel there is limited options on weight ranges but with a little thought you can get a really good workout done. The City King hotel room was large, and a great size for both of us, the only comment I would make is it needed potentially more table space and drawers and plug sockets on both sides of the bed, other than that, it was perfect. We were in room 349 which was a corner room, no issues there, just be prepared for a little bit of a walk as you get out of the lift. Would definitely stay again and may even opt for a suite next time as I hear the views from the 4th/5th floor are amazing.

Room was spotless, water bottle recycling excellent, chocolate biscuits very appreciated. Shower great. Room was hot so had to take sheet off duvet. Unfortunately plumbing is terrible every time a toilet flushed there was loud noise loud enough to wake you. I was woken at least 20 times in the first night and around 10 times the second night. The £7 token for not having your room cleaned is really eco I love that idea

Good overall. I got handicap room so not sure if this is standard but the interior is very underwhelming compared to Conrad in Asia. However, service is good. One thing is the bed is too soft not in a good way (either old or not sure if intentional) that it makes your back ache, so not ideal for older people with back pains

I recently stayed at the Gem Langham Hotel and had a very good experience overall. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made my stay enjoyable. The hotel was well-maintained and had a nice atmosphere. However, I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room, which I would have expected from a 4-star hotel. It would have been a convenient addition. Despite this, the stay was pleasant, and I would consider returning.

The single room had a rather narrow bed, and it was quite cold inside since there was no air conditioning. There were no rubber slippers in the bathroom. Laundry was expensive, costing 3 euros per item, and there was no self-service washing machine. You had to ask the front desk for fabric slippers. Other than that, everything was fine; the bathroom environment was good, and the room environment was also acceptable. The room size was average, but the carpet on the floor felt very textured.

Great location, friendly staff and great luggage storage for free on the day of departure. Our room was comfortable with a basin and a wardrobe. There was a fan and we had the window wide open as it was stifling in London this week. The only negative is that the loo/ shower wasn’t on our floor - so it was a bit of a gamble whether you would need to wait for it on the level below or above.
