Our family of 6 including 4 college age kids had the privilege of staying in the 3 bedroom Park Lane suite. We were treated with amazing personalized service by the concierge staff , housekeeping and spa staff. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the concierge staff and Bjorn Rydder. What a welcome we had with champagne and personalized tour and Bjorn had such friendly personality and helped us immensely. The rooms are amazing - large and modern with windows and great technology and a spectacular view of Hyde park and kept immaculate every day by a very thorough housekeeping staff. . The spa is beautiful and although I did not get a chance to use it, Mary warmly welcomed my husband every day as he enjoyed the sauna. She made sure he was comfortable and enjoyed his experience. The vibe is so relaxing and serene and he would often go twice a day. The concierge team is top notch including Gisella,Serena, and Elisa who made sure every need my family had was addressed. This hotel has a 5 star concierge team. And lastly the food was delicious. We had breakfast daily and Raffaele our host made sure to spend time talking and joking with us and that we had everything we needed. He is truly a blessing and what a great way to start the day. 45 Park Lane is truly a magnificent hotel. All of the staff remember every guest of the hotel and treat people with such warmth and care. My college kids loved the hotel and location. We usually stay at the Corinthia when we come to London but now we will only be staying at 45 Park Lane. A 5 star hotel with such an amazing and caring staff with modern and luxurious rooms and spa and in an unbelievable location. Don’t stay anywhere else !! A gem that you will truly appreciate.

Is the apartment, washing machine dishwasher microwave oven, home appliances are all, very quiet, in the rich area, neighbors around there look rich! It is 5 minutes away from Commercial Street, Hyde Park and supermarket. Walk to Bond Street, New Bond Street. The one-bedroom, one-living room is quite large, and the living room is very comfortable and can be used for cooking.

I was given a Pret a Porta tea. voucher for 2 people as a birthday gift. My husband and I attended on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by 2 charming young ladies at the reception and we were really looking forward to a special afternoon Our waiter eventually came to the table and asked us what we were having. We explained the situation and said that our voucher was at reception. Some time later he returned and removed our champagne glasses. We questioned his actions and he told us that it was tea without champagne. My husband was not happy and went to check and in fact champagne was included in our voucher We were then served by a different waiter for the rest of the afternoon It was obvious that this attitude spoiled our whole celebration We were very surprised that the 2 suited men who were obviously in charge made no effort to apologise for the mistake. They just stood stony faced all afternoon This really is not worth the £93 a head!
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London

Very good, undoubtedly one of the best hotels in London, despite the historical renovation, has the best location and service, better than most Mandarin Oriental I've stayed at in Asia. It’s a 3-5 minute walk from Harrods department store, very convenient for shopping and food.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location is lovely. Staff were lovely but the 'hotel' is in poor condition even the decor is drab. Wardrobe door handle was missing with a screw sticking out. We booked a year in advance and still ended up with a top flight room. 80 odd steps just to get up to your room, no biscuits in the room which would be a nice touch. As for the breakfast it wasn't very nice at all, they provided gluten free bread for my partner but we watched them place it on the board where the normal bread had been so I eat it. Therfore we eat elsewhere the second morning which was a much nicer breakfast. Its a shame as the staff were all lovely but the b&b really needs money spending on it to make it worthy of charging over £250 for 2 nights which is what we paid.
