Zedwell Capsule Hotel Piccadilly Circus

I really liked the bed linen at this hostel. It really is, as advertised, very high-quality and comfortable. That's where the positives end. There's a line in the lobby that will make you miss at least 30 minutes of your vacation or stay, which is a good idea if you're expecting to wait in line only when checking in. Don't think so. The toilets and showers are always foul-smelling and dirty. There's NO AIR CONDITIONING in your "cocoon" (as they call your bed), and it's summer now, even if you open the curtain and try to let some fresh air in, it won't work because the hallways are also very stuffy. Good luck getting a good night's sleep. You only see the staff at check-in, and they're very arrogant and indifferent. I absolutely do not recommend this type of accommodation.

If the signs showing direction is bigger or clearer, that would be better. Even the lights inside the bed rooms should be dim, the hall way could be light up a little bit and that may be easier to find the way.

Bring along bike chain but No handle / hook to lock the luggage case . Everyone just left luggage case on the floor. I felt unsafe and no lock of the door. I didn’t stay and left the capsule hostel.

Great location. Surprised at how quiet it was, the pods are very clean and comfortable with charging points, dimming lights and aircon.

Capsule was very clean and more spacious than what I expected. It’s a bit of a hassle to store your stuff in your cacoon since there are no lockers near your bed or anything. My two day trip in may was perfect here. Not too busy in the hotel thus not a lot of noise. Love the small touches like; whatsapp text service, music in washrooms and the nice AC in the capsule hallway. I love that you pay for hostel prices, but you get the privacy and cosiness of your own room. Will definitely stay here again!

Location is really good and the reception service was nice. For short term stay tourists is a good choice.

All good in hotel, but it’s a bit hot in the bedroom and the water hotness can’t be tuned in shower room, need to be careful about the hot water.

The location was the hotel’s only strong point. Cleanliness was disappointing — stained sheets and hair everywhere, which housekeeping should never overlook. The door staff also gave incorrect information, insisting there was no nearby library when one was just seven minutes away.

It has AC so the ventilation is okay but the restrooms aren’t very clean. Location is great and it’s close to many attractions.
