Excellent view from the rooftop pool. Big room, great sound proofing and responsive front desk. 5 mins walk to Avenue K where the KLCC MRT is located. Many eateries in 5 to 10mins walking distance.

This was my second stay, and overall it was great. They have a wide variety of room types, suitable for business travelers, tourists, and families. The location is very convenient, just a five-minute walk from the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC). The front desk staff can also speak Chinese, are very friendly, and work until late.

A special, luxurious place with many facilities that is a family choice. Happy with the environment and guaranteed safety.

The room was spacious and clean, and the pool offered a beautiful view. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: the air conditioning unit definitely needs cleaning as it emits a strange odor when the temperature is increased. Also, it was quite noisy at night with many cars speeding by, creating a lot of street noise.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, the night view from the window is beautiful, and there's a free swimming pool on the rooftop which is perfect for photos.

we chose this service apartment due to the location. It was really clean and well furnished though super crowded. Great views from the room too!

It was a pleasure staying at this residence apartment. The location was perfect which close to major attractions and the apartment was exactly described facing Twin Tower view. The shower was functional but water could not drain down fast due to clockage

The location is excellent and the environment is also good. I stayed for two days, and on the second day, there was no housekeeping service or water delivery. Perhaps I needed to notify them.

The hotel room is actually an apartment. The lobby on the ground floor has a dedicated reception desk (staffed by Chinese speakers, so they speak Mandarin). The apartment is significantly larger than a typical hotel room, featuring one bedroom, one living room, and an open-plan kitchen. It's incredibly clean and tidy, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need (fridge, stove, oven, breakfast bar). The living room boasts a large L-shaped sofa and a TV, while the bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. There are Chinese signs everywhere, which makes it very comfortable!

Disappointing but forgivable. First of all, the location is perfect, with access to landmarks and malls. However, everything is what you will not expect from a five-star experience as the listing indicates. The reception was fine but not very informative and friendly. The appliances were high-end brands but lack instructions. The towels had strings sticking out which make them seem dated despite the clean appearance. The functionality is the worst. The shower is only hot on the first day of our 3-night stay, and the shower head is stained. The hob is functional but had a hidden switch that was found only after the receptionist called housekeeping because she doesn’t know about it. Speaking of housekeeping, they dress casual which makes them unidentifiable and unprofessional. The kitchenware were even worse. The knife is so dull it can’t cut through garlic, the two pair of chopsticks came in three different lengths, the wine glass has dried up wine in it, the pan had grease in it, and the oven comes with no mittens or tongs, so the heated food is untouchable. It seems that someone that has never cooked set up the room. Other than that, some details make us feel like they want to cheap out. The shampoo and body wash were so diluted it’s like when it’s almost used up and you add some water to make it last longer. The overall experience is forgivable only because they are cheaper than others. The property itself is also fine. The swimming pool is not the cleanest but the jacuzzi is nice and the view from the rooftop is great. The restaurant is average, with a very limited selection of food and unprofessional but friendly staff. There were no assigned seats and every table was set up differently, so it’s a bit confusing when we entered. 2/5

“I was very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Star Suites KL. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, complete with amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, and a small workspace. The city view from the window was beautiful, especially at night. My favourite part was the infinity pool overlooking KLCC — perfect for relaxing and taking photos. The location is also strategic, close to KLCC and Pavilion, and it’s easy to get a Grab. Parking can be a bit challenging, and check-in may be slightly slow at times, but overall, my experience here was excellent. This hotel is great for staycations, short holidays, or content creation sessions. I would definitely come again.”
