West Lake State Guesthouse

West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area
This Hotel is really something special. It has the best location on West Lake and is set in the most beautiful ground. The staff went to extraordinary lengths to make this a fantastic experience. Liu and Chen from the concierge even used their own money to help us take out bikes around the lake and the kitchen prepared a special breakfast for the train.

I booked it before I went there, and I was worried about the hygiene at first. I read in the comments section that some people said the hygiene conditions were not good, but after I went there I found it was quite clean. The villa was renovated and the yard is very charming.

The hotel environment is very good, quiet and well-equipped. The overall decoration is in an antique Chinese style, which I personally like. The housekeeper was very welcoming. He came out to greet us as soon as he arrived at the parking lot, helped us with our luggage, and even gave us snacks in the evening. Dinner was Omakase, a Japanese restaurant in the hotel, and overall I was quite satisfied. The room has an independent corridor with air conditioning and is well received! In the winter, I feel drowsy when I turn on the hot air conditioner, and it’s too cold when I sleep without it. When you are resting in the room and do not plan to sleep, you can turn off the air conditioner in the corridor, sit in the corridor and take a nap, play with your mobile phone or even do simple work on the computer.

A great hotel and the considerate and attentive front desk guy are unforgettable and full of gratitude. The room was upgraded to a Lijing twin room, and Xiao Wang also thoughtfully requested breakfast for us, so that I no longer had to worry about not being able to book a suitable room, and it also gave my 87-year-old father a better travel experience. The hotel has a sense of age, but the management and maintenance are excellent. Coupled with the superior location, it is an excellent choice for traveling in Hangzhou. The ladies and brothers at the front desk are extremely patient, not impatient, and serve with a smile. They can answer all questions one by one and provide necessary help. Project 704 is located right inside the hotel and is worth visiting. The Turtle Lake, Yuhu Bay, Yu Qian's Tomb and Yu Qian Temple near the hotel are also good places for walking. The scenery is beautiful and it avoids the crowds on the main line of West Lake. It is highly recommended. If you have time, you can also visit the Tea Museum and Maojiabu, and ride the wind on Yanggongdi. The surrounding food is also very rich, each has its own characteristics and the quality is remarkable. Next time I travel to Hangzhou, I will choose Zhejiang Hotel. It must be Zhejiang Hotel. I also want to thank the beautiful front desk Xiao Wang in person.
Sunday Sunny Resort

Facilities: It seems a bit old compared to other hotels, but it has all the necessary facilities and the bed is very comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene in the room is okay, but there is floating soil. The hygiene in the restaurant is not very good. The dishes are not cleaned very well. Environment: The price/performance ratio is very high and the environment is pretty good. Service: The ladies who checked in were all very nice, but the restaurant staff, except for the older waiters and aunties, were very nice, and there were two middle-aged women who were not very nice. There was a soup in our set meal, and she said it was no longer available. They didn't show us the menu and asked me to change it to the cheapest one. After looking at the menu, I said I wanted to change it to sea cucumber soup and she was still a little unhappy. . . Maybe you think we have too many things? But there was a man who must be the manager who was very considerate of the customers. We wanted to pack the unfinished fruit back to the room. He took the initiative to bring us a packing box and his service attitude was very good. He was very different from the other middle-aged woman. Overall, it was okay. good

I made a temporary choice two days in advance. It was a very good experience. As a germophobe, it was totally OK. The lady boss was also very enthusiastic and helped upgrade the top-floor room for free. From the window, I could see the misty rain in Hangzhou. It was really beautiful. There was also a garden in the yard. Super beautiful cherry blossom trees, perfect for taking pictures
