Comfortable and clean accommodation, good scenery and convenient travel are the most important things I value when choosing a hotel for vacation. The service is great and warm. I plan to take my family there again next week. The shower is not constant temperature, it would be better if it is renovated.

Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand. I would say some things for improvement are as follows: Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here. Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left! Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated. The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better). The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on 携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better. The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels. PS , I cannot upload my videos of the boat trip inside the hotel's lake because the file is too big :'(

It was a very satisfying trip. I booked a Ctrip package, which included two tickets to Xixi Wetland for one night. The location of the hotel is also very convenient for travel. I recommend staying there if you are visiting nearby. The room has a persimmon theme, which is very unique, and the pillows are particularly cute. The room is larger than expected, and drinks (Cola, Sprite, etc., soda lovers are ecstatic) and ear-hanging coffee are also provided. I didn’t eat breakfast because I got up late. I’ll try it out next time.

A very satisfying stay at the hotel. The hotel itself is as beautiful as a painting. The Jiangnan style is full of elegance. The room is luxurious and attentive. The service was very considerate. I was very impressed. Because I was traveling with three elderly people, the hotel upgraded me to a suite. It’s very comfortable and the photos are great. If you have the chance, you’ll want to experience other hotels under the Banyan Tree umbrella.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, well maintained and it was lovely sitting on the small balcony sofa enjoying the fresh spring air. We took full advantage of the executive lounge which was a little small compared to other hotels I've stayed in, it was also a little noisy with some guests watching videos on their phones without earphones. The lounge itself was nice enough with the option of sitting outside on the small balcony. We also spent a long time at the pool which was rather cold, but indoor pools in China never seem to be heated adequately. The spa facilities were nice with a warm plunge pool and sauna. Overall a really pleased stay nestled on the edge of Xixi wetlands. The ambience of the hotel was warm and welcoming, the decor is lovely. A really nice and relaxing stay.

I took my children to Hangzhou for two days and wanted to go to Xixi Wetland to see it. I chose this hotel close to the scenic spot. Sure enough, it didn't disappoint. The hotel is small, but the decoration is very beautiful. Ctrip booked and upgraded the room. It is very close to the north gate of Xixi Wetland, five minutes away, and there is a subway exit of Line 19 at the north gate. It is also very convenient to travel. This is an excellent hotel when visiting Xixi wetlands area. Breakfast is mostly Chinese buffet but does include Western cereal, coffee and toast. There are no knives and forks except for the kiddies set, which works for speaking butter. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the head manager. The rooms have a great view and third floor rooms have a balcony. This is a wonderful place to sit and listening to the birds.

The check-in experience is quite good. The lobby manager, Manager Gu, saw us take the initiative to ask if we were here for tourism. He could tell us about the current travel restrictions in Hangzhou and the places to visit around. It is a very nice hotel. It is a few hundred meters away from Xixi Wetland High Zhuang Entrance, next time I come to stay at this hotel, there is a group dining for breakfast, and the restaurant can replenish food in time, the auntie at the noodle stall is very polite to help us cook, last time I stayed at another hotel nearby, the service attitude is not good , Give you a thumbs up!

Especially after breakfast, brew a cup of Longjing, sit leisurely by the waterside pavilion of the hotel (Figure 9), and be in a daze and blow the wind. The hotel also has a thatched pavilion with a unique shape and a protruding corner. It has an eight-person table built in, where two or three people can drink tea and chat. It is a good place to go (Figure 7, Figure 8)!

The bathtub is very big, I like it, and the children like it very much. However, the flap of the toilet is not too damped, and you will be shocked after using the flap of the toilet. The service attitude of the customer service staff is still good. After all, it is a mature hotel. It is impossible to have to fight the service attitude with the 5-star lobby manager. Breakfast for one person the next day, the amount is not much but there are still many varieties, you can eat enough, and the taste is also OK. I like the taste of the black tea in the set menu. If I don’t rush to return, I don’t have to sit for two hours before leaving. I like the feeling of slow life. Will come again, next time it will be when the reeds are in full bloom.
