Park Hyatt Guangzhou

Before checking in, the front desk insisted that my twin room booking was for a king-sized bed. Then, when two of us went for breakfast in the morning, the staff swiped our card and said it only showed breakfast for one person, demanding to see my booking confirmation before letting us in. I have to ask, what exactly was the front desk doing during check-in? Twin beds became a king-sized bed, and double breakfast became single breakfast. This was, without a doubt, the worst check-in experience ever.

If you're here for a US visa interview or a medical check-up, this hotel is in the perfect location. It's just across the street, especially convenient if you're traveling with family. In the summer heat, if you don't want to go out, you can have all three meals at the hotel. In terms of hygiene, the room itself was pretty good. The hallway lighting was dim, but you could still see that the carpet was dirty with old stains, which wasn't a great impression. We were able to check in early, around 11 am, which was a nice bonus. The open kitchen at Yue Jing Xuan is a unique feature, and the dishes were excellent. The Cantonese cuisine was indeed delicious.

Regarding the bar, to be honest, it was a bit below expectations. Both the atmosphere and service details could be improved, which was a minor disappointment. I hope the quality of the drinks can also be enhanced. However, putting that aside, the Park Hyatt's high-altitude views and overall service were still excellent. I especially want to commend Zero; she was incredibly responsive and a godsend for anyone who appreciates attention to detail. She went above and beyond to help with my immediate requests and fulfill them. Because of her service, my impression of this hotel significantly improved. The in-room dining service was also very good. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay; the room was impeccable, and the service was great. I look forward to coming back again.

This hotel offers zero service. Nobody helps with luggage when you arrive by taxi, they didn't have the promised welcome fruit, and at breakfast, no one was there to seat us. There was no pre-arrival contact either, so we had to queue for a long time at check-in. We were assigned a room right by the stairwell, which had poor soundproofing. On top of that, people were smoking, making the hallway smell heavily of smoke. Absolutely speechless.

My stay at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou exceeded expectations. Breakfast on the 65th floor is semi-buffet style, offering both a self-service area where you can pick whatever you like, and an à la carte menu, a combination that provides a fantastic experience. The ingredients in the buffet area were fresh, and the à la carte dishes were prepared and served hot. Both the Cantonese dim sum and Western cuisine were excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The service throughout the entire hotel was thoughtful and attentive. Restaurant hosts and plate changes were prompt, and while the service wasn't overtly enthusiastic, the attention to detail was impeccable. The high-altitude views are breathtaking, making it perfect for both leisure travel and short-term stays.

The Park Hyatt Guangzhou has an elegant ambiance, and it was convenient for my visa application. The transportation nearby is also excellent. Carina, the concierge, provided great service, and my overall experience was very satisfying.

For a hotel costing over a thousand, I checked in past 2 AM due to a flight delay. I asked if I could have a late checkout since it was a weekday, but they said 1 PM was the absolute latest. Other hotels typically offer 2 PM at a minimum, and given how late I checked in, I grudgingly accepted 1 PM. The room I was assigned was right next to the elevator, and I could hear guests outside from around 8 AM. The soundproofing is truly terrible, not to mention the poor service and subpar facilities!

Staying at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou again, and the service was just as excellent as before. The room offered expansive views overlooking the river. The staff were friendly, and our butler, Lily, provided very attentive service. Looking forward to my next visit!

This was my first time in Guangzhou, and I booked a room with a Canton Tower view specifically to see the tower. Customer service rep Zero helped note my request. However, there's a building in front of the room that obstructs the lower part of the Canton Tower, and the view isn't direct. Perhaps the Four Seasons next door has an unobstructed view. The room service was excellent; they even helped heat up food and brought complimentary desserts and fruit.
