Hakone Kogen Hotel is perfect for those looking to unwind in a peaceful natural setting. Surrounded by greenery, the atmosphere was calm and refreshing, making it a great escape from the busy city. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a nice traditional touch that added to the overall experience. One of the highlights was the onsen. The hot spring facilities were well-maintained and very relaxing, especially after a long day of exploring Hakone. The staff were polite and welcoming, providing good service throughout the stay.

The hot springs and food were both excellent, allowing me to fully relax and unwind.

I totally recommend it. Just be aware that the onsens are naked and they separate females and males. I recommend to book for a private onsen and you can be with your partner

Onsen is the best

Access was difficult on the way there, but the return trip more than made up for it. There's a free shuttle that takes you to Token Station, and then the bus goes directly to Odawara. Breakfast and dinner were satisfactory. The hotel is spacious. The rooms are very clean. The onsen is very pleasant; it's perfect for a first-time experience! A great place to stop after rushing around Tokyo!

I opted for a two-meal option and would recommend this place to everyone; I think it's quite good value for money. However, there's no shower in the room, so you have to go to the public bathhouse to shower, and then you can soak in the hot spring. If you don't like soaking in the hot spring with a group, they have private bathhouses available for booking at 3500 yen per hour. I recommend them to everyone.

The dinners and breakfasts at the hotel are excellent! And the onsen is open-air. The staff is very helpful and speaks English.

A very local hot spring hotel. Although the facilities are old, it is cost-effective.

The hotel service is first-class, the room is large enough, clean and hygienic. It is close to the bus station and Taoyuandai Station. The dinner is also very rich. I enjoy soaking in the hot spring. The only drawback is that there is no shower room in the room. I have to go to the large bath every time.

The food was great and the open-air bath was the best. I will visit again. It was near the lake so the atmosphere was good and it was a quiet place so I could rest quietly.
