Good hotel with great roof top views and clean rooms. It just felt a bit impersonal and generic. We were hoping for a bit more local recommendations.

A beautiful place, pictures as advertised. They wrote under their name, “ above and beyond” which we experienced during our stay. Special mention to Ali for all his tips and help in making on our travel plans to Chefchauoan. Kudos to Zaeneb who greeted is warmly on our arrival.

Arrived in Fes after catching the train from Casablanca. Taxi driver showed us where to go as Riad close to entry. Warmly welcomed with Mint tea and taken to room on second floor. Very comfortable, well appointed with lovely bathroom, good water pressure etc. Beautiful courtyard, lots of palms and tinkling water. Delicious breakfast with a lovely packed breakfast to take with us the morning we caught a bus to Chefchauen. We had dinner the first night, delicious Tangine. Staff is simply amazing, A new staff member with his "In training" badge on was amazing. Provided lots of wonderful information, great service and friendly advice. A great asset to the Riad. Highly recommend, a peaceful and comfortable Riad in a very busy tourist town.

We arrived with our children (6 and 4), coming from another place where we had a not so positive experience. Luckily, the choice to come to Riad Alassala made everything better. Immediately, we were welcomed by Zineb, such a lovely lady, helpful and caring. She helped us directly find a taxi to go and pick up our stuff in the other place, and made us feel welcome from minute one. Then, I asked if we could have a quiet room (for the children), and immediately there was response to this. The Riad itself is beautiful, well kept and super located! The view from the terrace is stunning. I would recommend this place to everybody.

Great Location and super friendly staff. Their service was excellent not to mention their dinner was exceptional. One of the best Moroccan dishes I have ever tasted. Beautiful setting and they use the traditional Fes dishes. I highly recommended to stay this Riad!! They have a rooftop to relax and see the wonderful view.

Four of us visited here in mid December. The Riad was a perfect place to stay while visiting Fes. The courtyard is magnificent and was a tranquil sanctuary after the bustle of the medina. The rooftop has a gorgeous view of the city. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfasts were good, and dinner was delicious. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. We particularly enjoyed watching the decoration of the lovely Christmas tree - fun! - and watching Argentina dispatch France in the World Cup with the staff and a few other guests. The place made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

Really nicely decorated Riad, staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped us get to and from our taxi and even made breakfast for us early as we had to start our tour. Breakfast was great! The room was a little small but very comfortable and in a nice location. Would stay again!

The Riad is a nice 3 star facility but the service was very poor. At breakfast if you ask for anything extra it was not available. The food would come very slowly and only one person serving all 8 of us. If one couple would come early, they would not serve and had to wait for all of us to be together - very strange. Some of the rooms were very small and impractical for a couple with not even enough space to keep your luggage. Once we cam back from dinner and wanted to have tea and were told at 9pm that the kitchen is closed - completely outrageous.

Just returned from the beautiful Riad Alassala,it was wonderful. The Riad is spotless and everyone there was lovely.Rooms very confortable and the breakfast was good.Alassala is situated in the Medina which can seem a bit daunting to get to but you soon find your way,a pretty straight journey down from the small square, probably about a 5 mins.walk.As you exit the Medina there is Hotel Batha. One of the few watering holes in Fes that has lovely, cold beer so handy for the Alassala. Will certainly stay at this Riad the next time I'm in Fes.

The service and the riad itself are among the best accommodations I have visited. You are welcomed by the incredibly nice owners. You feel at home from the very first minute. We were picked up by a shuttle bus directly from the airport. Our driver was also a very nice young man. If we visit fes again, which I'm sure we will, it will only be here to this riad.

Stunning Riad tastefully decorated and styled. The courtyard was so peaceful - we loved our breakfasts here in the peace and tranquility with eggs made to order. We also had dinner in house one evening which was equally enjoyable. Our host and the team were all very welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. It was a nice place to retreat to after our day activities in the bustle of the medina. Highly recommended, shukran!
