3 Star Hotels in Dalat

Is this a 3 or 4 star hotel? Not really. But in terms of value for money, it can’t really be beat. Location is great, just outside of the city center and a quick 10-15 min walk to the central area, plus right down the street from the Crazy House. Things are clean, but the hotel definitely shows its age. Walls in the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, and floors are uneven. The sound also carries quite a bit - hallway and elevator noise comes straight through the door, plus thin walls between rooms. In general, this is not an issue for sleeping if you bring ear plugs, but is just something to be aware of. For me, all of the above are things to point out so you can be fully informed when booking. At the price I paid (about $15 USD per night), none of this bothered me.

Hotel with high satisfaction, location is also within 10 minutes walk from the night market, all staff were friendly. A little unfortunately the shower was rough. It's nice to have hot water, but when you turn the shower water, you come out down and the water pressure is a bit weak

Our stay in the Dragon King Hotel I would be almost very pleasant if not for 2 incidents. 1. In countries where I don't speak the language I usually ask for a calling card of the hotel. I did and they had none, And voila the taxi took us to another Dragon King Hotel in Da Lat and we had to take another taxi from there back to Dragon King I. 2. We booked including breakfast as that is normally a nice way to ease into the day in a foreign city. The Dragon King breakfast facilities are in a from floor to ceiling tiled cellar under the hotel full of load speaking local people eating local breakfasts (soup and the like) so talking about your plans for the day while eating bread with jam (the only non local food choice available) was impossible goodbye enjoying a quiet breakfast. (There is a nice place to your left when you leave the hotel that serves for a very small price with a very wide smile)

Excellent customer service from all staff.Room was almost new and very clean.Breakfast was good.Omelette station and PHO soup station were nice touch.For the price of $32 definitely worth it.My suggestion is to put cup and teaspoon on table for hot cofffee.Overall,room and stay were good. Breakfast staff Minh and Chuc and Le ,and Tuan were all great! Phuc And Uyen in reception area were very helpful.Luggage’s was delivered to our room.Motorbike rental (150,000Viet)was arrange by Uyen.Their motorbikes look newer and no need to stress out to find rentals.You can park it in garage overnight with NO extra charge.Makes our stay in DALAT very convenient.You definitely need the semi-automatic motorbikes to visit Datanla Waterfalls(Alpine coaster) and do some loops. Enthusiastic staff, rich breakfast, every day someone actively cleans the room. Convenient location, very close to many nice cafes

I went with my family, so I chose ”Ex villa Dalat” because it is next to the provincial bus station, so it is convenient to move. I was arranged in a spacious, comfortable, luxurious room and a very nice view, Breakfast is quite good, the receptionist is cute, enthusiastic and attentive. Well, I'm near Lululola Coffee, Tương Coffee, The brand is the best Coffee, so there is no need to find a place to play and take pictures of virtual life kkk, for people who like to stay in a quiet place and chill mountain area like me, the hotel meets the requirements above and a great experience with my family.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The location is good, away from the busy road and market, a walking distance away. The buffet breakfast was okay with limited sitting tables if you come at peak period. Not too great a choice for breakfast. Need to open the window slightly and keep the potable fan running in the room to reduce stuffiness and maintain air circulation. No AC in room. Bathroom is spacious but the hot water control for the shower in the high tub can be frustrating to get lukewarm water. Very frustrating during check out, the front desk told us there was a missing big bottle of water in the room and we had to pay. We disagree that we had drank or taken the big bottle as we always saw only one big bottle of water in the room. They were adamant that there should be two big bottles. Very frustrating to be accused and our guide paid the cost of the bottle of water as he did not want to delay our departure and he stepped in to stop our discussion. I told the front desk staff (3 of them), they should check their own housekeeping staff for correctness. We left with a bad taste.

Generally speaking, the hotel is very cost-effective. There is a three-star logo at the door, and the reception is enthusiastic. There are travel inquiries and answers are also thoughtful. The hotel is on the top of a small slope, sleeping quietly, and you need to take a taxi to travel to any scenic spot, but the taxi is very convenient. The taxi drivers in Dalat will use the meter to calculate the price. The price is not expensive and the drivers are also very good.

This is a fabulous place, so beautiful and creative. The rooms are a blast to stay in if you pick one of the “crazy rooms” . We stayed in the Ant house. It was room enough for couple and quite comfortable considering the unusual design. It was clean and well cared for the 4 days we stayed. There will be tourists swarming around all day which actually adds to the fun. You can easily shut the world out with well placed curtains over all the unusual windows and have all the privacy you want, but understand It will be noisy at times . In the evening a staff lit a fire in our fireplace which took out the chill and dampness. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, smiling and proud of this unique work of art. DaLat is a vibrant city and this fun spot added more to our visit.

I would have given an excellent rating if it wasn't for the misunderstanding that occurred on the night of our arrival. If you are arriving in the wee hours, please make sure to inform them way in advance even if you have fully paid for the accommodation. Nevertheless, a service recovery was offered by the general manager, Mr Tuan, and we were all very much happy and satisfied with how they have handled the situation. My family loved the 2 bedroom suite and I highly recommend this hotel for its polite staffs and cleanliness! Its a new hotel and not too big but definitely close to the center and worth the price!
