"We don't usually take photos inside the room, so I only have pictures of the grounds. It's a small hotel with a very cozy and beautiful territory. We enjoyed the views of the river and the mountains. We visited in January, and it was cold, so there were very few guests, and the pool wasn't filled. However, the Lycian tombs are clearly visible right from the hotel. Just a few meters away, there's a ferry across the river to the ruins of Kaunos and the tombs themselves. The streets leading to the town center are also very close by. The breakfast was decent. Boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, yogurt, jam, honey, muesli/cereal. When we were the only guests left, they didn't set up the buffet, but they brought us the same items on trays that we would have picked ourselves. The room heating was provided by an air conditioner. It was perfectly adequate."

Since the accommodation does not have an elevator, the staff helped carry our bags and also recommended a tourist boat for cruising the Dalyan River at an affordable price."

"4 stars, once, a long time ago! Perfect location, nicely designed, but long past it's prime. The receptionist said he was tired, when I arrived, they only had 9 rooms occupied out of 78, the 2nd weekend of June. Extensive gardens, overgrown, and dotted with broken hotel furniture. Deluxe room, overlooking the garden mess, and the WiFi didn't work.
I asked for a kettle, but was told the management doesn't allow.....4 stars? An hour later Sumat ( super guy, trying hard) brought a kettle, but no cup. Cup arrived eventually. No water in the rooms. WiFi still not working, despite Sumats attempts. Then, the AC exploded and dumped 2 litres of water on the bed.
Had to wait 40 mins in the bar for a clean room ( and 70 were unoccupied).
My 2nd Delux room overlooked the carpentry work and staff area.
That evening I realised the light bulbs were not working, except in the bathroom. I gave up, and slept.
The following morning I opened the bathroom window, and it came off in my hands, as did the towel rail.
It's so sad to see a beautiful hotel fall apart, staff are demoralised, and have lost interest.
I escaped, as early as I could, and will not return."

"Stayed one night in this hotel while traveling with friends across Turkey. The hotel is clean, linens and towels are sparkling white. Hotel staff are welcoming and friendly. Very nice outdoor furniture and clean and well maintained outdoor pool. We also liked breakfast- good value for money. The only disadvantage was internet in the rooms, very slow.. Internet was working properly only in public areas."

"I understand why the Lorend is getting such good reviews. I spent 2 nights there. Rooms are small, but well thought out to maximise the space, centrally located, but quiet.
Breakfast is a perfect Turkish feast, and the staff exceptional.
Highly recommend, and I will definitely return."
