"Because I was going to Nagasaki by JR Doublestar 4047, I chose to stay in this hotel not far from the JR train station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the JR to the hotel. The room is not small and feels newly renovated, so it is very clean. The staff is also very enthusiastic and the service is good. I will recommend it to my friends."

"The hotel rooms are large and the staff service is very good. There is one night and two meals. The food standard is very high, using traditional Japanese cuisine, and the food is delicious. After taking a hot spring bath, you can enjoy a free food corner, and drinks are also provided for free. The hotel provides different rooms, such as massage rooms (with free massage chairs), meditation rooms, sports equipment rooms, etc., for guests to enjoy."

"A golf cart is required to pick you up and drop you off at your room. The environment is beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the outdoor hot spring is my favorite part. The food was varied and delicious during my three-day stay."

"1. The hot-spring is excellent. 2. Service is warm and never disturbing. 3. Dinner has so many dishes that general person may not finish the full course. Food is average in quality with several sparkles. Soba and assorted pickles are outstanding. 4. Breakfast is very good and not too much to finish. In all, it is a very traditional Japanese hotel with hot spring. If you love traditional Japanese food and accommodation, it is perfect for you."

The historic inn “Kagetsu Taishokan” in Takeo City is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from the Takeo Onsen Gate and a 6-minute walk to Maruyama Park. It's also a convenient base for sightseeing, being about a 13-minute walk to the Takeo City Tourist Information Center and a 20-minute walk to Takeo Jinjya Meals are reservation-based according to the plan, and we offer plans including both dinner and breakfast. For dinner, we serve kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared dish by dish to highlight the natural flavors of locally sourced ingredients. A hearty Japanese breakfast is also provided.
On-site parking is available (limited spaces). Guest rooms are equipped with a minibar and complimentary WiFi. Some rooms feature semi-open-air bathrooms with hot spring baths and showers, complete with complimentary toiletries. Each room includes a telephone and a safety deposit box, with daily housekeeping service provided.

"The hotel has only 10 rooms, all new and clean, with a Japanese-style ambiance and an open-air lounge with massage function. The staff were extremely friendly and called to remind us to eat dinner and breakfast. Although we were supposed to leave early and miss dinner, the hotel thoughtfully arranged for breakfast to be served earlier – a very considerate service. The food was of very high quality, and the water pressure was excellent. Dining in a private room provided a great sense of privacy."
