This hotel is cozy, and all the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and available throughout the day. Our rooms were functional, though a few minor things, like the hairdryer, weren't working. It wasn't a big deal for us, so we didn't bother reporting it. The beach bar serves delicious food and great cocktails. The massages are professional and very flexible with scheduling. There's also the option to book excursions, which are well-accompanied. We especially enjoyed Dory and Alex, who always took great care of us. The only slight downside was the Labour Day celebrations around May 1st. The beach area felt a bit like Station 2 (a lively beach area). But it's a national holiday, and lots of dancing and partying happen, which was in no way the hotel's fault. If you're looking for constant peace and quiet, it's probably best to avoid this specific date. The hotel grounds and the beach were super clean; walking barefoot everywhere was no problem at all.

Fantastic location with old school charm. Perfect set up with direct beach access and a beachside bar to watch the sunsets. Breakfast was disappointing though, it needs a major overhaul. More healthy choices needed.

Except location, we did not like anything in the hotel, hotel room air-condition was old window style, not sufficient, noisy.

I liked the hotel's location at the first station and the availability of sun loungers on the beach. Cons: the garden room isn't by the sea, but in the buildings further across the road. The climb to the third floor is uphill. But the garden grounds are beautifully maintained, with lots of plants, and an authentic feel. The beach area is pleasant and clean. Olu Torena sun loungers are available by the bar, and massages are also available here, and they do a fantastic job. I was very disappointed with the breakfasts; they were so meager and unsatisfactory, even though the room was quite expensive and could have been better. The hotel rooms themselves are old, and everything has seen better use. The shower and toilet doors are awkward. The mattress was very hard. We asked for extra blankets to put underneath us, and they brought us a softer mattress on top, for which we were very grateful; we slept well. The staff is very responsive and responsive to requests. The outlets in the room weren't compatible, but they provided adapters and even rewired one for us. Well done.

The hotel is very good overall.

We stayed in room 501, which was across a small road behind the beach. The room is large, with plenty of space for two double beds. There is a balcony to dry clothes and a small swimming pool visible from the balcony. It's very quiet and it only takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach. I'm very satisfied. The rooms next to the beach all have a double bed + a single bed, which is not very friendly to families with two children. Garden rooms are recommended for families with two children.

This ain’t the Shang but it’s quiet, there’s a lot of space, it’s close enough to walk to D Mall to, but far enough to be rid of the chaos of Station 2. Our room was huge and very clean.
