The service was fine, and the strutture is located 2 min walk distance from Bondi Beach.
Room a bit small consider inside we were 6 people, with little space where to store my belongings.
The room have a private bathroom but outside, right next the bedroom door. I found it very very small, and not very comfortable to use.

Even in a private room it is very noisy, the walls are made of cardboard. They constantly go to the common toilet, shout in front of the door and at night as well. The location is excellent

I had to download an app instead of using a key to get into the room, but it was convenient. It was great that it was very close to the beach.
There was a bathroom in the room so it was comfortable.

TINY bathroom. No proper storage in the bedrooms. Wooden bins under the beds. Imposable to open due to lack of space. So unusable
I've been to a lot of hostels all over Australia and for me it's really the worst.

Good stay - hostel was modern, clean and had nice weekly events. We had a TV In the room with Netflix Disney plus and other apps. The bed was comfortable and the room had air con although seemed restricted to short time as kept going off. The room we booked was a private en-suite compact loft room. This room was very very small and no had room for cases and hard to navigate just around the room itself but the “compact” is in the name and could be seen as a cosy concept but definitely was hard. Other than that the stay was good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Couldn’t fault our last stay! An amazing stay at the Village Bondi! We had a private en-suite room and it was spotless and super cosy. The staff were really friendly and Eloise was an absolute gem, she really made our stay so enjoyable! The location is ideal with shops, restaurants and the beach within a few minutes. Currently booked in for another week after a great previous stay. Would recommend 😊

The whole experience was 10/10, the staff, and the facilities were very good. We will 100% stay again. The only issue is the bathroom being so small, but usable and clean! The kitchen and communal areas were always clean and tidy. Very close to the beach with only a 30 second walk.

Horrible, dirty, very noisy ...cockroaches... if you have money to loose .. the pictures on their website don’t reflect the sad reality . You can find good hotels in Sydney for the same price ... Don’t go there !

The interiors and exteriors of the property are actually nicer than other hostels I've stayed in but the main issue I and my roommates had, was the lack of cleanliness and small maintenance issues. For example, the toilet seat in our ensuite was not screwed on so would continually fall off. The blinds on the window were stuck so we couldn't close them. The weekly Sunday Spring clean seems to be very light on and we specifically had to ask for more toilet paper. All of that aside, the most enjoyable part of my stay was my friendly roommates all who are from the UK. I would stay here again because its very close to the main shops and beach in Bondi. The hostel provides a bed to sleep in, but not really a place to hang out.

i have spent 7 days in this hostel. we stayed in double bunk bed room.. small rooms... small bathroom... clean and newly renovated... kitchen with all equipments... tv room available... it has all basic facilities required in hostel and backpackers... helpful staff... cant talk loud after 10 pm... 5 mins walk from the beach and all restaurants... 50$ per day per bed is worth it if you are staying with friends... good place to spend night.

Litter strewn on the floor at the main door of the hostel, one of the toilets in the hall was filthy with the bin overflowing. We were staying in a private room, which was absolutely tiny we barely had room to leave our suitcases on the ground. We would have been fine with the cramped conditions if it hadn’t been for the strong smell of urine in the room that greeted us when we arrived. Our private toilet was also miniscule and the smell of urine seemed to be coming up from the drain. When we asked a member of staff to help alleviate the issue, they simply said that they “couldn’t smell anything.” We found it extremely difficult to sleep that night due to the overwhelming smell. The next day we returned to our room to find that the cleaner had left the door open after changing the bins in the room which I find to be wholly unacceptable as our personal items were being kept in the room. The general lack of space in the room and indifference from staff members was quite infuriating and we decided to cut our trip short- staff would not provide any compensation for us deciding to leave early. The only positive was that the hostel is located within a few minutes of Bondi Beach.

Genuinely the worst place I have ever stayed in. the singular postive I could find is the location. Issues- Strong smell of urine in room Private ‘room’ for 2 was the size of a closet. Request to shorten trip and receive some form of compensation for the awful conditions was met with a ‘voucher’ for a similar hostel. Room door left open by ‘cleaners’ on 2 occasions. Aircon uncontrollable.
