Excellent Service, Best Location (prime area) and Attentive Staff I recently stayed at Citigo Hotel in Beijing and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, even helping us locate a parcel at a moment's notice. Despite reaching out late at night, they were prompt, courteous, and resolved our issue swiftly. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I highly recommend Citigo Hotel for anyone looking for exceptional service during their stay in Beijing.

Our hotel stay was fantastic. Located next to a mall with plenty of food eateries. Hotel is about 600m walking distance to the nearest train station. We had booked the family room that came with 2 double beds. Room was big and clean. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful, and always willing to lend a hand whenever we needed help with finding locations, recommending places to visit or making reservations. Kudos to hotel manager 谢永旺 and room maintenance staffs 史沁棉 and 胡文霞.

Friendly and helpful staffs. The location of the hotel is good, near to attractions (Tiananmen, The Forbidden Palace, the National Museum and etc) but also in a relatively quiet side of the city.

The location of the hotel is good - very near to Chongwenmen station. Surrounding the hotel are malls and many eateries. The room was very big and spacious which is good. Very clean too.

I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station. Exceptional Service: What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. After I accidentally left a necklace in my room, they promptly contacted me and arranged for its safe return. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction. Beyond Expectations: The Manxin Hotel Wangfujing exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a perfect blend of modern comfort, traditional charm, and outstanding service. the serenity and tranquility calmed all my frustration trying to find this hotel, look for the odd looking building across from the metro station, exit A and look for the little driveway.... it's a absolute hidden gem. as soon as I got to my room overlooking the courtyard, I booked an extra night without question. the layout of the room is so comfortable. everything is electronic, temperature, curtains and doors. if you are an introvert and want to order food, the robot will bring it up for you, contactless. The location is close enough to everything but just far enough you don't hear the traffic except for staff working on the building or deliveries in the morning. the front desk was helpful with my first delivery order and knew exactly what I was looking for in regards to sightseeing. there is a bit of a language barrier with technology today (alipay translation, wechat and baidu translation) everything worked out with some creativity. all part of the adventure anyways. there is a self service laundry room which is super convenient, it is a commercial unit so no need for detergent but they do have it available in case you have a stain. breakfast is a mix of western and Chinese but I am a vegetarian so my breakfast choices is limited but they do have a full on noodles bar. two item to consider: 1) my shower flooded every night I was here and the staff cleaned it up when I called, the hot water is consistent and welcomed after each long day of walking. 2) your door will randomly start beeping in the middle of the night and it is Becuase the door is not closed properly (automatic), I just put the coffee table against it instead of calling the front desk at 4am in the morning. overall, I loved my visit (the decor, the privacy and friendliness of the staff) and I hope you do too.

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director

The lady working in the lobby was kind and helpful. She brought our things up and placed them into our room when we left our bags in the lobby as we arrived a lot earlier than the check-in time. She was also very helpful to the questions we had. Furthermore, the hotel is clean and tidy. They also sent up room slippers and extra things using a robot. The location is also great as it is tucked at the corner of a walking street and you can see locals playing badminton, basketball and dancing nearby around dinner time. I highly recommend this place!

i got lots of help from lin, i checked in late and the process was quick and sound. she gave me usefull information on how to get around from the hotel. the room was clean and spacious i book for 1 room for 5 nights and she help set up the room with the extra bed so that my family of 4 can fit comfortably. my kids was so excited with this hotel even had a bathup and swim. eventough our schedule is tight. thanks lin and sofitel, btw attraction was close by and public transport is close (quojiangmen) sub train station, thanks beijing thanks china and sofitel for the beautiful trip.

A truly excellent 5-star hotel (if not better) in a great location with wonderful staff in and around the premise! Of special mention is the Front Office Manager, Mr Su Yan, who quickly and tirelessly helped salvage an issue with a friend who was initially part of the booking for the Twin-room. As this friend had submitted his passport to an embassy for a visa, he couldn't check in with me. As a result, a request was made for a double bed for single occupancy which was promptly met without incurring further charges. All staff, from the front office to housekeeping, maintained their courteous smiles and greetings throughout my 4 nights/5 days stay. This included even those at the restaurant for breakfast, who were quick to usher their guests to their tables, and to promptly serve the desired beverage. Breakfast was sumptuous with a good variety of choices from Western to Chinese, and even Japanese. My room was always cleaned as soon as I left for breakfast and this made it pleasant to return to the room, to plan the outings for the day. The subway, which was within walking distance helped with getting around Beijing without the hassle of being caught up in the horrific traffic which seems to be a common feature of this city. This was truly a spendid trip staying at this gem of a hotel that I had even contemplated extending my stay for another 2 nights. However, duty beckoned me to check out to return to work. I look forward to returning to this hotel once more should the opportunity present itself and I'm hoping that it'll be sooner too!
