Divalux Resort and Spa Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport-Free Shuttle Reviews

The hotel's view is great. Spa and massage service is popular, so you will need ro book in advance. Shuttle bus runs every 1.5 hours between the BKK airport and the hotel. It is about 30 minutes to the airport. From the airport, you can take the Airport rail link to the major tourist places. Or you could stay in the hotel to relax.

Food was good and service was very attentive and polite. Hotel facilities are good and people are friendly. Most important was the staff named Golf, who was very helpful and attentive to my unfortunate situation of needing to see a Dr. He was able to call the airport medical clinic and and explain how I can get there. Also, accommodated me for a late check out gave me a warm smile even though I was not well.. Thank you for such good staff. I would recommend this hotel for travellers that need to stay close to the hotel or in long transit.

Beautiful hotel , i did body massage and it was lovely. I wish i can stay longer.

Overall it’s okay. Room is quiet but there’s a musty smell that’s bothering me.

The hotel staff was kind and very helpful. We had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. It is a big property with lots of space to rest and walk around. It is near the airport and the airport shuttle service they provide was timely and very helpful.

This hotel has great facilities. It just needs some love and attention. The pool was great, the gym was excellent, and quite spacious. There was no drinking water available at the gym, though. The A/C was switched off and hence, it was super hot when I entered the gym. The location of the hotel was the biggest problem. There were no shops or restaurants close by. It's far from the city and closer to the airport which we knew. The reception was very difficult to reach and had to inform them or call them several times to get things done. Even though, they say it's a free shuttle. it's quite hard to get any communication from the reservations for pickup from the airport. Then, the breakfast, it was quite average and there were just too many bugs are worms crushed to death by the customers walking around. it was quite disgusting. The fruit section was completely left open and bugs and fruit flies were lying on it. All they had to do was just cover them. Hopefully, they take this feedback constructively and improve.

Elevator was broken and our luggage was not delivered quickly and in the morning we had to carry our luggage through stairs by ourselves to catch our shuttle bus. The location was bit hard get a cab or use grab.

Only 2 bottles of water a day. Have to walk 15 mins to nearest 7-11 along the main road. Counter staff and shuttle staff can be less rude.

The biggest disappointment was the room. It was marketed as a suite, but it wasn’t. The bathroom was dated and had mold in the corners of the shower. Everything else was dingy and old in the bathroom. The bedroom’s television was dated as well and did not turn off. I had to choose between shutting all the electricity off in the room, or lacking sleep due to the televisions flashing lights for switched scenes in shows. In terms of the quality of shows and movies, I was underwhelmed. Some television channels had a very low volume, no matter how high the volume was set. The brightness and visual settings on the television were 1990s quality. The outside of the room near the pool area was the only place that didn’t disappoint and that lived up to promise. The first night at the hotel’s restaurant I was ignored as a solo diner and had to hunt my service staff down to order a new beverage and to cash out. The following morning at brunch it was better service —probably because it was buffet style and the staff didn’t have to do much. In terms of location, there is nothing walkable and the surrounding area seems “sketchy.” Overall, Divalux was one of the most disappointing stays that I have ever experienced.

Generally really Nice hotel but something outside kept me awake all night

The hotel is actually 30-45 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Its neighborhood is industrial or run-down, so there are no attractions nearby, and the hotel only has one restaurant. To use the sauna and whirlpool you would be charged 300 baht per hour. I used once and was charged twice
