Super 8 by Wyndham Austell/Six Flags Reviews

We arrived to Hotel, and the front desk was not the most pleasant, we had to pay 100 dollar deposit, the hotel, was clean but needs a lot of updating, we had 2 pillows for each bed that were flat, and we had to go out and buy pillows, we were left 1 washcloth for 4 guest per night. We were not given any direction as to where ice machine was, no map as to where anything was, so we didn’t get ice for our stay period, we chose not to go for breakfast so we are not sure what that consist of, second night bedsheets had burn places in them, like someone had been smoking and dropped the cigarette. This will be our last and only stay at this Super 8, for sure. So disappointed in this Super 8?

The check in process was so easy and hassle free and the room was bigger than expected.

They had scaly bad attitude

Anything and everything you could think of was wrong with the room, will never stay again. Ruined our family trip!

I don’t expect much out of budget hotels, but this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Dirty room, horrible smell, hole in the bathroom wall, and the electrical box for mini fridge was dangling out of the wall. The tub was painted, not sure how you scrub a painted tub. The lamps were rusted, and food was left in the fridge. No Wi-Fi. No pool as advertised , although after seeing the inside of the room, there is no way I would have gone in it anyway. “Breakfast “ was two types of cereal, white bread and no coffee. Incredibly rude desk clerk wouldn’t make coffee because “it would get wasted”.

Don’t do it No, nope , naw, I’m good! Location is the best thing. It is right off the highway and by Six Flags, that’s it

Bala was so kind and accommodating! The hotel is in a quiet, easy to find area and was great for our short overnight stay. Its in a great location next to six flags over Georgia and close to stores and restaurants for quick dinners and necessities.

The super 8 is a great location, super friendly staff, always welcoming. I stay here when I’m in town and they always make sure I have a comfortable stay. The location is minuets away from Six Flags for an easy commute to the park. Also there’s a bar and bistro next door for dining. The rate is reasonable and they offer continental breakfast in the morning.

Do not stay here! We had the worst experience of any hotel anywhere we have ever stayed. We left within 30 minutes of checking in. They are now (two weeks later) telling us the refund they promised us, they decided not to give us! BEWARE THIS HOTEL!!!! We figured it was so cheap we would be fine whatever. No!! The staff is awful, the roo.s are disgusting, the batteries in the smoke detector are clearly not checked as they are beeping every 3 mins outside of your room. Lock doesn't even stay up much less actually lock the door. The pullout couch was FUL OF GARBAGE!!! The "queen" bed is a full. They gave is one bottle of shampoo/conditioner combo and one bar of soap total for 5 people. We asked for a new pillow and sheets for the pullout that was full of garbage and the front desk lady told us she didn't have the key to the room with any of that. Upon checkout I gave the list of issues to BOTH PEOPLE AT THE FRONT AND THEY TOLD US WE WOULD BE GETTING A REFUND FOR HAVING TO LEAVE. THIS HOTEL IS RUN BY LYING MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CARE THAT YOU HAD TO SAVE UP FOR A FAMILY VACATION!!! ABSOLUTELY SHAME ON EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!

No bed linens and broke fridge neither was ever resolved. Was there for cheer competition so would get in late every night to no issues being taken care of. Called each morning. They literally came in and added pillow cases and still no sheet!

The room was clean and the bed was compfy yet expensive. The TV selection was modest though I was unable to view any of the movie channels. There is a nice free breakfast selection. This review mandates a min. of 200 characters, I have no more to say.

This is a terrible hotel to stay even if you’re homeless. Dirty cork that’s supposed to connect the sink bowl to the countertop and tub is painted and peeling. The furniture is stained. they called the police to have me escort because they didn’t give me my deposit back. There’s no clarity about smoking rooms. The tv channels are blurry and the lamps flickers

The management doesn’t seem to know the rules regarding Wyndham Rewards. I am a diamond member and at check in, I asked about upgrade availability and was told there was availability but I’d have to pay. After speaking with the Manager and explaining and showing that I am a diamond member, he laughed and said he didn’t care what I was and that he would *never* give an upgrade for free. I politely stated that I didn’t understand why he was being so rude and he said “you can call whoever you want about it, my name is Bill McKenzie and I’m in charge here.” His tone was extremely demeaning and I’ve never felt so disrespected by hotel staff in my life. It would be one thing if there was no availability but this was just a man on a power trip. Stay away from this place if you want to be treated like a human being.

This was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever heard of. The room was filthy both beds had crusty stains on them The tub and sink was dirty also. The curtains wouldn’t close so people Culp’s see into the room. We checked out 15 minutes after checking in. The clerk didn’t care, he never apologized just said let me get your keys. The parking lot was dark and looked very unsafe. Do not stay here
