What can I say about our stay, apart from we were blown away by the hospitality and service by all the staff! The rooms were big, beds comfortable and everything we needed was just a call or request away! The junction outside is busy but don’t let that put you off, this place is an oasis behind those doors! We had the anniversary package and had a beautiful romantic dinner on the terrace , we booked in for sunset dinner with Balinese dancing which was lovely, loved that they remember our names throughout the stay and also when we returned from outside they would say welcome home 💗, we also had a massage which was just so relaxing ! Wish we could have stayed longer ! Thank you to all the staff at Purana you made our stay memorable 💗💗💗

We wanted to cry leaving this place.. A total paradise sectioned in houses and bungalows , with a good looking and zen peace with all the green sorrounding. Houses inside are essential but goot looking , and clean! Service is fantastic , you can choose what to eat at breakfast and where to eat it , and in case they will bring it to your room , clean service awesome. Price is very very honest and not expensive at all! We reccomend this place , and looking forward to come back again in future. Pretty close to the center of Ubud by the way. Renting scooter also is possible. Situated in a good area near to famous restaurant and the monkey forest also!

Stayed for the second time, the location is very good, the central area of Ubud can walk, the hotel is in a small alley, very quiet, there is a small rice field landscape, there are about 10 in total, all with private pool The villa, the last time I lived in a single-storey building, the space is small but the privacy is very good. This time I live on two floors, the scenery and the view are better, the first floor is the pool and the living room, the bathroom and the kitchen. The second floor is the bedroom with a washroom and bathroom. The second floor is separated from the next door by a wall, but there is not much interference. The room is large, very clean and air conditioned. Feel more comfortable living on the second floor. Breakfast time and type of appointment one day in advance, delivered to the room on time in the morning, the variety is small but the amount is sufficient, the main food can choose American toast omelet, Indonesian fried rice noodles, jam cookies, coffee or tea, freshly squeezed juice and fruit. The front desk service is very welcoming, and you will be asked to ask how you live, and what is needed. Except we did not see Chinese residents.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are many convenience stores and restaurants with good reviews within walking distance to choose from, and the hotel also has its own restaurant and rooftop bar. The interior of the room is very tidy, there are no bugs or geckos, and the hotel provides cleaning twice a day. Because it is not facing the main road, the overall atmosphere is relatively quiet, but the room is not completely isolated from the sound of the outside world. The sound of heavy rain and the movement of people in the public space can still be felt, but it does not affect the rest. Service is the highlight of this hotel. The staff is very patient and friendly, and will even remember your name and actively ask if you need to go out for pick-up. I highly recommend any friends who travel to ubud, Sabana really deserves the praise on various platforms.

This is not our first time to stay at Kencana Ubud. Normally this is such a great place with great value of money. But in our last stay, there are some points we would like to mention that make our stay less comfortable like usual. First, we recognize that they changing the staff to the new ones and we are not really happy with them. One day we come back around 7pm and found out our room is opened. I suppose they forget to lock it back after the cleaning. Fortunately there were nothing missing. The other day it was raining so bad in Ubud the whole day, and we stayed longer at our room (until 3pm). When we come back we found out they didn’t clean our room. When we ask if they can clean it, they refuse it with a reason that it is no more the time to clean it. Exactly the next day, when I woke up in the morning, I found out that there is no water running on the bathroom. So I need to ask them what happen and they try to fix it within 30 - 45 mins. When finally the water is on again, it was so dirty (the color is black), so we need to wait by throwing all the water around 15 mins until it’s clear again. We are traveling and working at the same time. Normally we woke up late and they are nicely bring our breakfast up. But couple of time, they knock our door too loud like for me it’s not polite enough. Over all it’s a nice place but maybe because the staffs are new, the management need to train them more so they can meet the standard they have before.

The place is cute and the staff was nice! Although some things didn’t match the pictures. The space outside with the bathtubs is not maintained at all so I was disappointed as it looked good in the pictures. Even the rooftop space was not cleaned and open. I did enjoy having free Netflix in my room; best part!

It is a small and beautiful hotel with 16 rooms in total, few people, no noise at all, good location, many restaurants on foot, reliable BMC can exchange currency, walking to cocomart is very convenient. The breakfast is good and the afternoon tea is simple. The best thing about the hotel is the service. You can book a local restaurant with a local mobile phone. At the same time, you can pick up and drop off anywhere in Ubud. A phone hotel will pick you up. We are on a honeymoon, and the hotel has specially arranged the room, which is very good.

The hotel has very local characteristics. It is an independent courtyard with a private pool. The water in the pool is constantly changing, and it is especially warm when there is the sun. There is a sofa in the courtyard to sit and enjoy the sun. The roof is very high and the room is very spacious. The bathroom is connected to the outside. The bath is inside the room and the shower is outside. It is a very unique experience. Out of the courtyard, it is a quiet path. There are rice fields along the road and there are sculptural lanterns. I enjoy it all day long. The hotel restaurant food is good, freshly squeezed juice is delicious!

Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

Beautiful hotel. The building, gardens, ocean view, swimming pools, foods and everything. Perfect. I love the main gate they have. Perfect spot for taking pic. The front desk senior staff helped us. More training needed for junior staff. Try to eat in tamarind and order their risotto with scallop. Yummy.

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

I felt 2x in 6 hours. 1x rooftop in front of door to lift. Floor was wet from rain and I did not see, because was dark 7 hours later in restaurant for breakfast. Was water on the floor . I did not see. Pain was big my ash and my low back. Very less support. Waitress to busy and no manager. Needed next day fysio, what I had to pay by myself. Was very disappoint. As well the next days with words no compensation

It’s the perfect place if you have an early flight - with the most comfortable bed!! Everything is nice and clean and the people are amazingly friendly. I loved how helpful and kind they all were. It’s not at the best location, as Bali has tooo many other beautiful beaches and this hotel is not situated at one of those beautiful beaches. Other than that, I can’t complain at all. I had a great evening there with an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to the airport was free and they packed a lovely breakfast for me to take to the airport since I left too early to get breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
