The hotel is in a good location, with a small shopping mall right next door. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay.
The hotel is quite old, and the staff were very slow in handling issues. We booked a two-storey suite for three nights. Check-in was supposed to be available before 3:00 pm, but we did not get our room until almost 5:00 pm. I suspect the hotel had already discovered the water leakage issue in the room but chose not to inform us.
After checking in, we went out for dinner. When we returned that evening, we found water dripping from the ceiling. We reported the issue, and the hotel sent a so-called “technician” whose only tool appeared to be a mop. Unsurprisingly, the problem was not resolved.
The next day, before leaving for a day trip, we specifically asked the staff to either properly fix the issue or move us to another room. In the afternoon, they messaged us and assured us that the problem had been fixed, but they still refused to change our room.
However, when we returned that evening, the ceiling was still leaking. At around 9:00 pm, we were finally told to pack our belongings and wait to be moved to a new room. Even then, we had to wait more than 40 minutes for someone to assist us.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. Poor maintenance, poor communication, and inefficient handling of problems significantly affected our stay.
