Fantastic location; close to the MRT station, opp the hawker centre and lots of fancy cafes and eateries all around. Hotel was new, clean and sleek and I booked a private room for 4 pax with my family. My 8 year old son had a great time watching Netflix on the big TV in his capsule! Every detail was well thought of; right from the fuss free check in processes, to the cool co sharing common spaces and totally love the handy bag provided for your shower necessities. Will definitely visit again!

The staff were incredibly welcoming. While the room wasn't the largest, it was cozy and clean. One of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location!! And the only minor downside was the soundproofing. While the hotel was generally quiet, I did notice some noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms at times. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.

The hotel is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The room was all right. But the paint work could hv been better, some wear & tear can be seen on the wall, but no matter. Still good for a rest. I told the gentleman at the reception I needed a room with good air-conditioning and he gladly obliged. Quite a lot of tourists stay here due to the location. Nvr lack of eateries & entertainment around the area!

This accomodation does not meet the minimum standards, if your after a culture shock this is for you My partner booked the accommodation the place is an absolute dive on arrival the previous guests towels were still in the bathroom, the shower head was broken. Eventually we were moved to another room. 1. the entire complex smells of moisture 2. bed mattress uncomfortable has exceeded lifespan. 3. Bed sheets seams split, fabric thin and faded. 4. Pillows flat no durability. 5. the photos supplied are exaggerated eg the paint was peeling, floors filthy - decorative pillows not present these photos do not represent the current condition. 6. Iron cord unsafe electrical wiring exposed tied into knots and taped up- unsafe. After enduring 2 nights we left early for our next destination. After reviewing other travellers comments the owner has failed to address any complaints is met with the standard response ”Your feedback is important to us and we are working on it” Travellers do not receive value for money, overcharged for what is best described as hostel conditions at minimum.

Stayed 2 nights in January 2024 family of 4. DO NOT STAY HERE!  We booked a room for 6 people (even though we were a family of 4) so that we could have more room to spread out and for our luggage. When we checked in, we got a room with 4 beds (2 queens, 2 twins). Clearly this didn't solve the issue of needing more space to spread out.  Reception informed me that the room was adequate for 6 people and they were fully booked so I could not get any room.  The room was TINY.  The family room we had booked DID NOT resemble the photos on the website at all.  Its was much smaller, tighter, no room to walk, pass each other, no room to store luggage, totally claustrophobic, very dark (not light like the photos), only one outlet worked to charge all of our devices (and there are over a dozen outlets in our room).  You cannot sleep and charge at the same time because the desk (on the wall of the bed) needs to be open to access the chargers and you cannot sleep with the desk open over your head.  The sink was the same size as my hand. Water went everywhere and there is no counter space for toiletries.   There is NOWHERE comfortable to go outside of the room and sit.  The 'kitchenette' they offer in the common space has hard metal barstools, not soft, comfortable chairs for guests to sit.  There is NO lift/elevator so be ready to lift all your luggage up several flights of stairs with no help.  There is A/C in the room but if you are in the corner of one of the beds, the air does not circulate and gets very hot.   I do not recommend this place, not even a little.

Nice Hostel near the center, it was easy to access, The staff is lovely and helpful they arrange for me a late Check in (3am) with useful instruction. Clean inside, I didn't face the time to try the rooftop :( The breakfast is ok (just few stuff to avoir leaving with nothing in the belly). Great value for a short and cheap stay in Singapore.

The cube capsule was very good value for money, considering how expensive Singapore is. We had a double capsule in a large mixed dorm, however the capsules create fantastic privacy and it didn't feel like a shared space at all. The capsules were well maintained and neat and had everything we needed. Mirror, plug etc. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and were great. Location is brilliant, right in Chinatown and very close to the MRT. I would definitely stay here again. Only criticism is that the capsules and bathrooms can get verrrrrrry hot. One night, my partner couldn't sleep all night as the AC just didn't seem to be effecting our capsule. We notified the staff about this the next day and they gave us a fan for our capsule. Which was fantastic. Not great if you need silence for sleeping. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Pro: 1. Excellent location in the Chinatown right next to the MRT station. Maxwell station is close by as well. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Two hawker markets within minutes walk. 2. Exceptional soundproofing. No noise even in the middle of all these shops. 3. Small but well organized and functional room with full kitchenette. 4. Good bed and shower. Con: 1. The app was not user friendly and not providing good instructions. The digital key was a hit or miss. However, staffs were excellent to respond. Also they actual gave you a room key card which was very helpful. 2. The room was small and the air conditioner blow directly onto the bed and was very uncomfortable to sleep and I needed to block the airflow with some clothes. They should install an air flow diverter. This alone cut the rating from 5 to 4 stars. 3. The bathroom door was transparent so may not be good for some guests. A blind or curtain will be good. Other: The bed of the deluxe studio has only one side to get on so not convenient if you have two people. But since I know this before I book so not a ”con”.

A very nice, quiet place located in the heart of Chinatown, with the MRT right at its door steps making travelling accessible and splendid. The rooms are perfect for budget travellers, very clean. The bathroom is quite small but always clean. There's even a little outdoor patio however it's quite hot outside. It's a go to spot for budget travellers.

We went to singapore for short escape, originally i was really amazed with this neat and modern country. Despite some people that we meet on the street was not really nice, but the ladies who in charge in the hotel were different things. Both of them are having smiley faces and willing to provide you with any information, especially ms.ayu who didn't mind to be bothered in the late evening after her working hours and have to help us with the password on the enterance door which we totaly forget. For the budget tourist, this is very recomended hostel, it was clean, walkong distance to public transportation and located in the china street you would never starving and broke 😄😄

The location is good, near Chinatown Food Street. It seems to be in a public housing, and the environment outside is not very good. This family has two houses, but the houses are relatively small. Each house is equipped with a shared bathroom and toilet. You may need to queue during peak hours. The bed at least has a curtain, but it's only half a curtain... it can't cover the whole thing... I put on my makeup and ran to the tea room... The place was too small, and I was afraid of disturbing other people's rest... The proprietress is Chinese, speaks Chinese and English, speaks quickly, and has a good attitude.

Honestly the best stay I’ve had in the longest time.It was my son’s birthday and I had a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom instead and it was amazing.Super clean and spacious and we had the best time.The view was amazing cause it was facing the sea.Thank you to the staffs for being so accommodating and welcoming.We received a complimentary cake too.I look forward to coming back here again.A great staycay!

This is my 2nd stay here, for my birthday this year! Always loved how the location is convenient and it has everything I need for a simple but satisfying stay. Everything was great, I got upgraded to the 24th Floor 🥹🥹! Only slight downside was that the door had to be pushed really, REALLY hard to close / open it (it won't close properly). Not a huge nuisance but I do have to use my whole body weight to close the door lol. And there were dust bunnies in the gaps where the door lock (the black latch) is. I had to wipe that down myself. Besides these, the stay was comfy and great! Thank you once again! :)

First time staying here since Covid. Check-in was fast. It was a self check-in system. Only thing is that they didnt accept contactless mode of payment for the hotel deposit. So i still had to proceed to the counter to complete my check-in as i did not have my physical credit card with me. Not an issue. There was a lift leading straight to the carpark. Very useful and helpful. Room size was acceptable. Not huge but not small either. There was a filtration system for drinking water. Therefore, no bottled water was provided. But then again, Singapore’s tap water is pretty much safe for drinking unless otherwise stated. Loved the rainshower in the room. I did not get the opportunity to try out the gym and the wellness services in the hotel. Will definitely find an opportunity to try them out someday.

This is my third visit to the Carlton Hotel Singapore. Location is perfect. Very convenient to get around the country.  the rooms have been aged for quite a while, but considering that is Singapore I think it’s quite OK.  The price fluctuates a lot during the year because the last time I booked I paid close to 350 Singapore dollar for one room one night this time I only paid around 200 so the price can be double times more expensive depending on when you’re visiting the country. First time trying their executive club room with the club benefits. But was alittle disappointed with the person who served us during the check in. He did not mentioned to us what was included in our package like what time is the breakfast, the place for the breakfast and also the timing for the evening cocktail. This need to be improved to provide guests the information needed else they will not know and might missed the evening cocktail. The room was big but abit old and there is no “do not disturb” button. But luckily the staff from club lounge iskandar was very friendly and sociable. He will come and chat with us. He also told us the breakfast place is at level 3. The food selection was okay just that the food was alittle cold and they actually serviced beer on tap and black label! Overall still a pleasant experience.

2nd time staying with Park Royal on Beach Road. Requested for decoration as my fiancé’s birthday is coming up. They have kindly decorated the room with balloon, even giving us a tasty brownie. -1 for cleanliness as I saw a bottle cap on the floor from the previous customer. Service was tip top as usual. It was my second time staying at V Hotel Lavender. This time my room was on the 13 floor and I had a nice city view with ICA building 😊. Moreover, room is clean and room Equipment is good especially in the toilet. For air conditioner in the room was so cold even we turned it off (just wonder why? but I sleep well with this temperature ) . The hotel is so convenient that MRT is nearby and food court around especially those who love TOAST BOX and Burger King. My breakfast is always at Koufu food court. Last but not least I will be back to this Hotel again when I go to Singapore.

The location: very close to MRT Bencoolen, close to many minimarts, safe area not too busy not too quiet, Toast box is just opposite the hotel, in a walking distance for Fort canning and Singapore National Museum, I love the location! The hotel: very new, The A.C. is not clean enough but acceptable, the daily cleaning is not provided only every 3 days, in the toilet has shampoo, body wash, conditioner, Body towel and toilet paper. You can ask for shaver kit, tooth brush&tooth paste, slipper from the reception, has glasses and cups with water dispenser, The plug is universal socket. It has hair dryer in the room. I booked King room. I think it is nice for Singapore. The Hotel atmosphere is safe, it has hotel co-space for Coffee and tea, workspace. I didn’t try other facilities but seems so cool! The security is good, need to use the keycard to access Hotel area. On ground floor has cafe and bar. Not loud, very demure customers. My family feel impressed with the hotel and we might come back to stay again!

Excellent location, just next to the Chinatown MRT exit E, a lot good food nearby. The breakfast is excellent with a lot varieties, never see Bat Kut Teh for breakfast in any other hotel before 😄 Room size is ok, a bit humid, but not sure it is due to the aircon or room design (bathtub in the room) Hotel staffs are all very friendly with nice smile. Babycot and pillows were sent in the room very quickly. Quick checkin and quick checkout process. Remember to do online checkin, so can get 1 time free minibar.

The hotel is very clean and posh. Even the floors themselves are spotless. One downside of the lift lobbies is that they can be quite warm, so when you come back from a walk, you want to hurry into your room for the cool air conditioning. My compliments to the front office team; I was able to check in early at 1 PM and check out late at 2 PM. The receptionist also gave me a room on a high floor, something I forgot to mention during booking. The room was cool enough. The pillows were soft and comfortable. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows; the view from such a high floor was fantastic. The TV also had AirPlay and Chromecast, allowing us to easily cast videos and shows. The bathroom was very clean. The rain shower was satisfying. Next to the bathtub, there was a packet of bath salt, so I could soak in the tub while watching TV through the glass window. We also visited the swimming pool. Surprisingly, the water wasn't too cold, even though we went at night. Overall, I had a great one-night stay and would love to come back again.
