D'Resort @ Downtown East

The price was quite affordable, and it's very close to the airport. It would be even better if there was a shuttle service connecting to a subway station. It's right next to a water park, and I booked a package that included water park tickets, so the value for money was pretty good. There's a shopping mall nearby with plenty of dining options. Just past the hotel's back entrance, there's a national park, which is great for a morning stroll.

I booked this hotel for an overnight layover. It's about 20 minutes from the airport and is part of a large resort complex. The room was spacious and comfortable. Right outside the hotel entrance is E-Hub, which has plenty of food options, including Ya Kun, just a maximum 3-minute walk away. There's also a small path from the hotel that leads to the beach, which is lovely for a stroll in the morning before it gets too hot.

Right next to Wild Wild Wet, my kids, who weren't very enthusiastic at first, became super excited once they saw the facilities. Being able to get to the ocean quickly and encountering wildlife we don't usually see was also a plus. We had trouble because there was no tissue or drinking water (though you can buy it at the shop), and while there's nothing that can be done about it, I was surprised by how ants appeared out of nowhere. I don't think we left any ant-attracting food out, but perhaps something happened. Despite these minor issues, the location was excellent, and the room was clean. I think this is a great hotel for families with small children.

The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, with a large open area perfect for stretching out. The entire resort connects to a shopping street and the beachfront, making it a self-sufficient vacation paradise.

They actually charge over 2500 for a room like this, seriously? I left my clothes on an unused bed, and the next day when I went to wear them, a cockroach fell out. There's no bottled water in the room, just a filter machine that you have to fill yourself. I booked this place thinking it was close to the airport, but Singapore traffic isn't that bad; you can get from Sentosa to the airport in about 20 minutes via highway. The comforter wasn't white; it was dirty and there was only one pillow. I ended up sleeping in my outdoor clothes the whole night. Woke up the next day feeling itchy all over. Ordering a ride-hailing car takes forever, and a taxi to the city center costs about 30 Singapore dollars. This place is more for locals on a weekend getaway, not suitable for foreign tourists. The service was mediocre, not even as good as a Home Inn back in China. You have to drag your luggage, switch two elevators, and walk outside for a bit to even get to your room. In short, just book a hotel in the city center; it's still close to the airport. Don't come here.

Right by the beach and a water park, the hotel boasts an elegant environment and spacious, clean rooms. Compared to hotels in the city, it offers fantastic value for money.

I liked it. The hotel is next to the water park, convenient and clean.
