Great stay! The room was spotless and very tidy, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing – super satisfied. The staff were all really warm and proactive, and their English was good, which made communication easy. The location is super convenient too, right where the bus drops you off.

A hidden gem of a hotel with spectacular views of Mount Fuji! I booked a random room just a week before Golden Week, and upon entering, I was immediately struck by how spacious and bright it was. The room itself was also very roomy and incredibly clean. Both of their hot springs offer direct, panoramic views of Mount Fuji! The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the breakfast restaurant started my day off beautifully. It happened to be Children's Day in Japan, and the hotel thoughtfully provided games and movies for the kids. I was very satisfied with this stay. I highly recommend staying two or three nights – it's truly rejuvenating.

A quiet hotel near the bus terminal of Lake Yamanaka. It is convenient to get to any point, as the stop is nearby. There are also nearby combines. Deer walks in the forest. Of the downsides - we have a toilet in the room, and there is no refrigerator. The rest is good. Everything is provided, tea, water, shower accessories.

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel's shuttle bus made getting around super convenient, and the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and had excellent service attitudes. The room was spotless, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The biggest surprise was being able to see Mount Fuji directly from our room's balcony – the view was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Breakfast offered a great variety too. The hotel's overall environment was very peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay. We'd definitely consider coming back here again!

We really loved our stay at this hotel. We chose a Japanese-style room with a direct Mt Fuji view, and the mountain was right in front of us throughout the stay. Watching Mount Fuji with its shifting clouds and changing light felt almost unreal — and we were lucky to catch a completely clear view from our room. Our stay included both dinner and breakfast, and the food was excellent — authentic Japanese dishes, beautifully prepared, and even more special with the Mt Fuji scenery as the backdrop. The location is also very convenient, close to the bus station. One of the highlights was definitely the onsen experience, especially the rooftop onsen overlooking Mount Fuji. It was incredibly relaxing and memorable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay — highly recommended.

Excellent value for money! You can see Mount Fuji directly from the room just by opening the curtains. The restaurant is a bit mediocre; it tends to get chaotic because they cater to many tour groups. The nearest Japanese restaurant closes early, so you'll have to go near Kawaguchiko Station for dinner.

The 9:00 AM check-out is way too early, and the hotel itself is quite old. The price doesn't match the quality. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're planning to visit Mount Fuji; it's better to stay closer to the mountain.

The room was absolutely beautiful, designed in a traditional Japanese style, which made the experience feel very special and authentic. One of the highlights was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from the window in the morning — it was truly unforgettable. KKanoksri K.The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.

GGuest UserThe bathroom was a bit cramped, though. The sink was too close to the tatami mat, which made it awkward to wash up and water easily splashed onto the floor. However, the onsen service was fantastic – that's why we chose this place! There are two baths, so you can switch between them, and the water was very clean. It's also quite convenient for seeing Mt. Fuji in pink the next day, about a 7-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge.

GGuest UserIt was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.

SS. MeFirst time stay . Thought it come with the private outdoor bath but realize the official website and 3rd party booking us different ,so slightly get disappointed. Overall stay is good with shuttle bus to pick up during arrival and checkout but do take note upon requesting it booking only. The lobby will have snacks and welcome drink which allow u free to take. Room is spacious and clean. The dinner was great who prefer simple and varieties japanese food. The location so far is good is about 15-20min walking distance to kawaguchiko station

PPoh ChinI am so grateful to be able to book a room with Hotel New Century during our stay on 23/3-24/3/26. It was a great and wonderful experience for our family. We were warmed welcome by the staffs and were served with excellent food and services. We felt very satisfied with the dinner and breakfast that provided by the hotel and served by the staffs, especially I can’t forget the senior lady who served us, thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality service. We also felt very grateful and excited as the view from the hotel room was stunning, where we can view the Mt Fuji right infront of the room window, and it was so beautiful!! Thanks to the hotel for giving us an unforgettable memories, we will definitely come again and stay here, also we will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit here.

AAnonymous UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel, it exceeded my expectations! **Facilities:** I saw some guests mention the hotel being old, but actually, the facilities are excellent. Besides the distinctive tatami rooms and rooms facing Mount Fuji, there's also the hotel's special hot spring. The outdoor bath has such a great vibe, and it's real hot spring water – my skin felt so smooth afterwards. **Environment:** There are absolutely no issues with the hotel's environment, cleanliness, or rooms; it meets a four-star-plus standard. You can see a full view of Mount Fuji within a 3-minute walk from the hotel, with both sunrise and sunset clearly visible. **Dining:** The hotel's breakfast isn't particularly varied; I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it. Dinner, however, is highly recommended. It offers a good variety of Japanese specialties, and many people think it's much better than eating out. Some reviews recommend the Wheat restaurant in the hotel courtyard or the restaurant across the street, but the cost-effectiveness might not live up to expectations, and the actual standard could be quite different. **Service:** I didn't give five stars for service. The hotel's front desk offers Chinese service, and the Chinese staff are especially friendly and helpful, answering all our questions with no communication barriers. However, I was very dissatisfied with the restaurant staff, who I believe were Indian. Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM, and we thought we just needed to have our food by 9:30 AM and wouldn't get more. Instead, the server rudely told us to ”Go Out!” in an impolite manner while we were still eating our paid breakfast. These four stars are solely for the excellent front desk service. **Additional Notes:** If you have high standards for a hotel, want a hot spring experience, and wish to be close to Mount Fuji, this is an excellent choice. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Fuji-Q Highland and a few minutes from Kawaguchiko Bus Terminal, which is very convenient for returning to Tokyo or other places. The front desk service is fantastic; a big thank you to the Chinese lady at the front desk.
