The room with the view of Mount Fuji was amazing; just looking at it made me feel so much more peaceful. The hotel offered complimentary snacks and drinks, and the dinner was also very good. The service was thoughtful and attentive. They provide a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. When you need a pickup, you can go to the nearby tourist information center and ask staff to call the hotel. After confirming your booking name and nationality, a car will be sent over very quickly. P.S. Make sure to keep your key safe! There's a 10,000 JPY fine if you lose it at checkout.

It’s comfy stay wf side view of Fuji san on 2026 Cny. Buffet breakfast was gd but stil prefer jap kinda buffet wf some western roti n kopi. I prefer route inn over mifujien . One try is enough I wil move bk to route inn for next Cny

Pros: 1. The room was huge! 2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window. 3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak. 5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too. 6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mount Fuji. The highlight was definitely the view from my room's balcony, where I could see both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanakako. Waking up to such a beautiful scenery was unforgettable. I also loved that the room had a tatami corner—it quickly became my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel has two outdoor onsen, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area provided a stunning view of Mt. Fuji while enjoying the meal. The hotel is located on top of a hill, so getting there by public transportation can be a little challenging. As a solo traveler without a car, I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which picked me up from the 7-Eleven at the bottom of the hill. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji.

It was a fantastic stay, from check-in to check-out. The owner saw my passport and immediately greeted me in Chinese, then gave me an overview of the hotel. Since it was my first time staying in such a traditional Japanese hotel, I had a lot of questions, but they were all answered patiently and thoroughly. The room facilities were excellent; I slept on a tatami mat with a very soft mattress, so there was no trouble sleeping. I also booked a room with a view, so I could see Mount Fuji first thing in the morning (though at other times, it depends on the weather). The hotel also has an onsen, and after a day of exploring Lake Yamanaka, a soak in the hot spring at night was incredibly relaxing. They even provide large umbrellas if it rains, which was really convenient. But the most delightful surprise was receiving a beautiful small gift when I checked out. Overall, I would give this place full marks, not just for the amenities but also for their attentive service. If I have a chance to visit Mount Fuji again, I will definitely stay here. The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor. Plus, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to the station, saving us a lot of hassle – truly excellent! The driver was incredibly nice too. This trip will be unforgettable!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by the lake, and the red line bus stop is practically at the doorstep, making it super convenient for getting around. You can even see Mount Fuji from your room! Breakfast was incredibly varied and served by room, so it never felt crowded. The onsen (hot spring) was also great; for just 900 JPY, you can enjoy it for free! The water was very hot though, so I couldn't stay in for too long.

Excellent hotel with a view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious, and the staff is very welcoming. The hotel has an onsen, which is essentially a sauna and a hot spring pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner included, both served buffet style. For those not used to eating fish, rice, and other Japanese cuisine in the morning, there are also European croissants, jams, and coffee available. For dinner, the buffet features unlimited crab, but you'll have to contend with the Japanese guests for the crab claws – it seemed to me they choose this hotel specifically for that reason! The cable car is just 30 meters from the hotel, which will take you up a small mountain with a great view of Mount Fuji. It's also quite close to the bus station, about a 10-12 minute walk.

We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji. Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed. We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience. After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work. Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased. All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again.

It was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.
