Hot Springs Hotels in Hunan, China

Our last stop this Chinese New Year holiday was Fenghuang! After being on the road for half a month, I wanted to find a hotel with hot springs for everyone to relax, so I chose this Wyndham. I've stayed at Wyndham properties before, like the one in Baise and another in Songpan County, and always had a great experience. This Fenghuang Wyndham was no exception; it truly felt like a home away from home. Both the facilities and service were top-notch. First, let's talk about the hardware. The room was spacious and came with a balcony and a bathtub. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers, the hairdryer seemed to be a Laifen, and the toiletries had a sweet fruity scent that the kids absolutely loved. There were over 60 hot spring pools – not even enough time in one evening to try them all! Now for the software: the doormen were proactive and helpful, and even the security guard directing parking went out of his way to find us a good spot. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. They proactively invited us to add them on WeChat, clearly communicating all important information there, which was very convenient. They even arranged complimentary breakfast for our three children! Speaking of breakfast, the rice noodles were absolutely delicious 😋 Overall, the service here truly enhances the Wyndham brand! Oh, and there's a downhill path right outside the hotel that leads to the windmill spot in Fenghuang Ancient Town in just six or seven minutes on foot. No need to drive or take a taxi, perfectly avoiding traffic jams ✌

Our family trip to Changsha was made extra special by our stay at the Yiyu Hotel. The location couldn't be better – right next to Wuyi Square and IFS Guojin Center, putting us in the heart of the shopping district for easy access to food, shopping, and entertainment. Our room offered stunning frontal river views, and the night scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious enough for our family of four, never feeling cramped. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Downstairs, there's a food street and a large, popular snack store, making it super convenient to grab local specialties or late-night snacks. The hotel was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and overall, it offers great value for money. If you're visiting Changsha, this hotel is a definite winner – highly recommended!

Our vacation coincided with a tour group from Hong Kong, so breakfast was crowded and a bit chaotic. The breakfast selection wasn't very diverse, and the cutlery wasn't very clean. Eating on the outdoor terrace by the river, the view of the river was pleasant. It would have been even better if the tables could have been placed closer to the riverside. The room cleaning was mediocre; the toilet paper wasn't replaced, and it was the same almost-finished roll from the previous guest. The hotel's hot spring was reasonably clean, but it wouldn't be worth coming here specifically for the hot spring. The river view from the hotel is still quite nice.

They upgraded us to a projector room, which was clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable – excellent value for money! This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at for a tourist. They gave us a great overview of how to explore Fenghuang Ancient City (just recommendations, no pressure). Plus, the hotel offers free rides to attractions, and their food and restaurant recommendations were spot on. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The room was spacious enough and well-laid out, with a decor style I really liked. The amenities, like slippers, felt high-quality. Transfers were quick and efficient, and the front desk was very responsive. They even proactively contacted us to help book tickets, which was a huge relief. And the view from the window was truly beautiful! The only minor drawback was the limited breakfast selection, but that's understandable given the price. The stream outside the restaurant was stunning, with lots of little fish swimming around. Dehang Miao Village was the most beautiful place on our whole trip to Xiangxi, and it wasn't overly commercialized. The weather was perfect the day we visited. After taking the sightseeing bus to Liusha Waterfall, the hike along the stream was particularly memorable. The kids could play in the water, and it wasn't a strenuous walk at all – very enjoyable. During Chinese New Year, there were also various games and activities in the Miao Village that the kids loved. All in all, great hotel, amazing scenery, and fantastic weather – we'll definitely be back!

Our stay in Furong Ancient Town this time was absolutely delightful, the entire experience was top-notch, and I just *had* to leave a glowing review! From the moment we arrived, the driver was incredibly welcoming, proactively helping us with our luggage. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service made getting around so convenient and stress-free. In the evening, he even took the extra step to guide us to the best spots for night view photos of Furong Town, patiently showing us around and helping us capture some stunning shots – truly thoughtful. Every staff member at the hotel was super friendly, genuinely warm, and kind. During check-in, they meticulously pointed out the location of outlets in the room, considering every little detail, which made us feel very at ease. The accommodation itself was clean and comfortable, and being able to soak in the hot springs was so relaxing and refreshing. As we were leaving, they even thoughtfully prepared a farewell gift and fresh oranges. There was no perfunctoriness whatsoever, just genuine, excellent service from start to finish. Staying here in Furong Ancient Town was incredibly worthwhile, and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

I came to this treasure hotel on the last day of the May Day holiday. It was really full of surprises. The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! In summary, this is a very suitable hotel for vacation 🏖️Lie down, come here, you can get rid of all the class smell! The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, the air is fresh, the whole resort is a natural oxygen bar, the body and mind are relaxed, you can leisurely watch the sunrise and sunset in the beautiful Yunpan Mountain 🌅 The scenery is amazing! The SPA recommended by the beautiful sister at the front desk is also very good, professional Thai massage ~ and it is also a Thai technician, super satisfactory stay experience

Everything was perfect! The trip started with a free transfer from the railway station to the hotel(normally is 20 CNY) and when we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly and so cool that they even upgraded our room! The views from the room and the terrace are crazy nice, the hotel is close to everything! I would like to add something to be improved, they could add big bottles of shampoo and shower gel as you have only 5 or 10 ml bottles for the entire stay! Loved it! Highly recommend!

Xiao Xiao at the front desk was warm and caring, the explanation was very detailed, and he took the initiative to help us take our luggage to the room. The whole process was very enthusiastic. He told us about the breakfast time and the place to eat in the resort. The lobby and the hotel are very suitable for taking pictures. Take the children out to play together. It was my first time to come to Tongcheng Hot Springs and I felt very comfortable staying here. I have been to so many hot spring hotels and still think this one is really great. The best thing here is that the service level is really considerate and comparable to that of peers. This time, my friend was not feeling well, and Xiao Wen at the front desk helped prepare brown sugar ginger water and delivered it directly to our room. I was very hungry after taking a hot spring bath at night, so the takeaway I ordered was delivered to my room. We were helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, and we were asked if we needed a late check-out. The whole stay experience was really good. The hotel breakfast is also good, with a wide variety, especially the rice noodles are delicious. Although the room is decorated in a retro style, the bed is big and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the hot spring, on the first floor of the building where we live, so it's no problem even if the weather is cold. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!
