Hot Springs Hotels in Hunan, China

Our last stop this Chinese New Year holiday was Fenghuang! After being on the road for half a month, I wanted to find a hotel with hot springs for everyone to relax, so I chose this Wyndham. I've stayed at Wyndham properties before, like the one in Baise and another in Songpan County, and always had a great experience. This Fenghuang Wyndham was no exception; it truly felt like a home away from home. Both the facilities and service were top-notch. First, let's talk about the hardware. The room was spacious and came with a balcony and a bathtub. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers, the hairdryer seemed to be a Laifen, and the toiletries had a sweet fruity scent that the kids absolutely loved. There were over 60 hot spring pools – not even enough time in one evening to try them all! Now for the software: the doormen were proactive and helpful, and even the security guard directing parking went out of his way to find us a good spot. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. They proactively invited us to add them on WeChat, clearly communicating all important information there, which was very convenient. They even arranged complimentary breakfast for our three children! Speaking of breakfast, the rice noodles were absolutely delicious 😋 Overall, the service here truly enhances the Wyndham brand! Oh, and there's a downhill path right outside the hotel that leads to the windmill spot in Fenghuang Ancient Town in just six or seven minutes on foot. No need to drive or take a taxi, perfectly avoiding traffic jams ✌

Our family trip to Changsha was made extra special by our stay at the Yiyu Hotel. The location couldn't be better – right next to Wuyi Square and IFS Guojin Center, putting us in the heart of the shopping district for easy access to food, shopping, and entertainment. Our room offered stunning frontal river views, and the night scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious enough for our family of four, never feeling cramped. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Downstairs, there's a food street and a large, popular snack store, making it super convenient to grab local specialties or late-night snacks. The hotel was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and overall, it offers great value for money. If you're visiting Changsha, this hotel is a definite winner – highly recommended!

Our stay at harmona resort was one of the highlights of our month long honeymoon in China. The hotel is set on beautiful grounds about a 10/15 minute drive outside of Wulingyuan, making it the perfect base to visit Zhangjiajie National Park. We were met at the airport by Mr Hu who transfered us to the resort and who offered his services to drop us off to the train station on our departure and who operates a private shuttle bus service to the key attractions. On arrival at the resort we were met by Cherry who is an absolute credit to the hotel. Cherry was on hand throughout our time staying at Harmona and greeted us every morning with enthusiasm offering some of the best hospitality I have witnessed from a hotel. Cherry and Fenfen informed us that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to the new villas to celebrate our honeymoon which was a really appreciated touch and I would highly recommend to anyone to pick these villas as they are finished to such a high standard, located across a beautiful river where you can take in the beautiful surroundings whilst walking to breakfast. Other special mentions to the hot springs after a long day of walking around the national parks! Hopefully we'll be back someday!

Taking my child to Fenghuang Ancient City was made even more amazing by this smart hotel – I was pleasantly surprised! 🧚 It was our first time visiting Fenghuang with the little one, and we stumbled upon a real gem of a hotel! It's just a few minutes' drive from the ancient city, making the location super convenient. The smart home features, oversized bathroom, and laundry/drying facilities were incredibly thoughtful! 💫 Our Stay Experience: 1️⃣ The whole room is smart-controlled. My child went wild playing with the voice-activated switches as soon as we walked in. 2️⃣ The separate laundry room was so practical! A washer + dryer, plus laundry detergent was provided (though for thick winter clothes, the drying time was a bit long). 3️⃣ The bathroom was incredibly spacious, and they thoughtfully provided disposable towels and a warm, fluffy children's bathrobe. 4️⃣ A big thank you to the front desk lady for the complimentary room upgrade – amazing value for money! 🌉 Fenghuang Ancient City Travel Tips: ▫️ Entrance is free! It's open 24 hours, so you can visit anytime. ▫️ The night views of the stilt houses by the Tuojiang River are absolutely stunning – remember to bring your camera. ▫️ The ancient city in the morning mist has a magical, ethereal feel; I recommend getting up early to experience it. 🍜 Nearby Food Recommendations: Xue Ba Ya (blood duck) and Stir-fried Fern with Cured Meat are a must-try! The room was spacious enough and well-laid out, with a decor style I really liked. The amenities, like slippers, felt high-quality. Transfers were quick and efficient, and the front desk was very responsive. They even proactively contacted us to help book tickets, which was a huge relief. And the view from the window was truly beautiful! The only minor drawback was the limited breakfast selection, but that's understandable given the price. The stream outside the restaurant was stunning, with lots of little fish swimming around. Dehang Miao Village was the most beautiful place on our whole trip to Xiangxi, and it wasn't overly commercialized. The weather was perfect the day we visited. After taking the sightseeing bus to Liusha Waterfall, the hike along the stream was particularly memorable. The kids could play in the water, and it wasn't a strenuous walk at all – very enjoyable. During Chinese New Year, there were also various games and activities in the Miao Village that the kids loved. All in all, great hotel, amazing scenery, and fantastic weather – we'll definitely be back!

The lady at the hotel front desk was incredibly nice. She patiently explained the Furong Ancient Town map to us and even gave us tips on how to best explore it. We also got a discounted price by purchasing tickets through the hotel in advance. They even upgraded our room for free, and as a thoughtful gesture, gave us tea and laundry detergent when we checked out. The most convenient part was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Furong Ancient Town, available anytime we needed it, and they also offered free pickup and drop-off at the high-speed rail station. A truly excellent experience!

I came to this treasure hotel on the last day of the May Day holiday. It was really full of surprises. The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! In summary, this is a very suitable hotel for vacation 🏖️Lie down, come here, you can get rid of all the class smell! The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, the air is fresh, the whole resort is a natural oxygen bar, the body and mind are relaxed, you can leisurely watch the sunrise and sunset in the beautiful Yunpan Mountain 🌅 The scenery is amazing! The SPA recommended by the beautiful sister at the front desk is also very good, professional Thai massage ~ and it is also a Thai technician, super satisfactory stay experience

The hotel is pleasant, the location is good, the staff was helpful, but it felt a bit neglected, perhaps due to the off-season. We stayed in March. We were picked up at the main train station and then given a free ride back to the train station at the end of our stay. The view from the balcony overlooking the authentic town is very beautiful, with a view of the river, houses, and a vista of the mountains. You can't see the main waterfall, but you can see a beautiful bridge and a smaller waterfall (not the main one). Keep in mind that there's a $15 entrance fee to the town, but there are shows throughout the day in various parts of the town.

The hotel is built on the mountain, the air is superb 👍🏻; the private soup hot spring is comfortable to enjoy, the room is wide and bright, the design is intimate and complete, the bedding is very comfortable to sleep 🥰; the complimentary breakfast is rich and varied, authentic Zhangzhou fish meal, cut meat noodles, rock sugar orange can be tasted in the hotel one by one, and it is delicious 🍜🍊; All the service staff in the hotel are warm and courteous, and the hospitality is thoughtful (especially Xiao Li at the front desk), making guests feel at home and happy, praise 👍 10! It is worthy of being the recuperation base of the five consecutive crowns of the Chinese women's volleyball team. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. It was my first time to come to Tongcheng Hot Springs and I felt very comfortable staying here. I have been to so many hot spring hotels and still think this one is really great. The best thing here is that the service level is really considerate and comparable to that of peers. This time, my friend was not feeling well, and Xiao Wen at the front desk helped prepare brown sugar ginger water and delivered it directly to our room. I was very hungry after taking a hot spring bath at night, so the takeaway I ordered was delivered to my room. We were helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, and we were asked if we needed a late check-out. The whole stay experience was really good. The hotel breakfast is also good, with a wide variety, especially the rice noodles are delicious. Although the room is decorated in a retro style, the bed is big and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the hot spring, on the first floor of the building where we live, so it's no problem even if the weather is cold. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!
