Hostels in Mazovia, Poland

I stayed in a twin room with a private toilet and bathroom. The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the main street with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious. However, the bedsheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases all had stains, and there were many small flying insects in the room, hopping around on the bed, which made me concerned about the room's hygiene. The toilet always had a bad smell, possibly due to a poor ventilation system. The shower pressure was very weak, and the fan was also very weak – not strong enough to dry my hair at all. The front desk staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Luggage storage after check-out costs 10 PLN.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. Everything from cleanliness to service deserves 5 stars. The hotel's amenities are great, and the location is very practical for exploring the city. Excellent value for money!

The location is 30 to 40 minutes by tram from Old town square. The price is cheap but the reception smell very bad, and the room also smell bad. Lucky the wash room and bathroom is still fine. The receptionist do not speak English or she just don't want to talk. Everything was body language. But she did email and send messages to trip to tell me the main door password. I suppose she don't speak English. 1 more thing is the hostel do not have a signboard. But Google map location is correct. Fro.m the airport to the hostel need around 1hour time. Take FlixBus to city and change tram to halo wola station.

Its a very good budget hotel with several options based on your budget, from individual rooms to shared rooms. They seems to have good rules for everyone to follow, which is good. There was a small issue with my stay as i was asked to pay for breakfast at the restaurant while i had paid in advance at the time of booking. I told the lady many times that i have paid already and showed the voucher as well, but she was not impressed. that was bit annoying. Matter was resolved in the end, when she accepted her mistake and apologized. That is a sign of good people. So, in the end good experience.

Location is good, but the shower is far away from my bunk bed and it's downstairs. Staff can be helpful sometimes. The locker is small that you couldn't fit a luggage in or have enough space to put all your personal stuff. Strange rule: every time when you come in and out, you have to take off your shoes before going to upstairs (they will offer a pair of slippers), and they will take your shoes instead. So if nobody at the counter, you can't go out since your own shoes were kept in their storage.

I really enjoyed staying in this hostel. It was in an excellent location with walking distance to the main places of interests for tourists, such as the University of Warsaw, Royal Route, Old Town and Royal Castle and many more. Moreover, it is quite close to bus stops and train stations, in case one wants to travel to more distant locations. The hostel itself is also quite clean. It is a good place to stay for a visit in Warsaw if one is looking for a good value accommodation.

I arrived at Dom Sofiia around 5 AM — the 24/7 reception was a big plus. A very kind and helpful lady at the front desk welcomed me and made check-in easy. The hostel is basic, but you get what you pay for — this is one of the cheapest places in Warsaw, so be prepared for a mixed crowd. The bed was clean and fresh, with soft pillows, and I slept well. The bathroom was also clean and without any issues. Overall, a solid choice for the price.

The girls at the reception are so unfriendly. You won't ask them anything extra, which is very unusual. Usually even the worst hostel can be saved by great friendly staff. Next. They gave me a walk-through room. That is, I deliberately chose a room with fewer beds to feel safe. But while I'm sleeping, strangers literally walk past me and my things🤡 I closed the door to the room several times, but each time it turned out to be unlocked. I told the reception about this, they told me that ”no, the room is not a walk-through, but yes, there are 2 doors”. When I commented that someone was walking there all night, I only received indignation in the form of shaking my head🤡 The hostel has a common area near the reception area, but it is uncomfortable to be there. There is no kitchen. The bathroom and shower are separate for men, separately for women. The interior is depressing. Naked men with bellies are walking along the corridor🤡. The bed in the room is creaky. There is no air conditioning. After my experience of staying in many hostels in Europe, this one turned out to be the worst🥸

為了趕上第二天的詹妮弗·洛佩茲演唱會，我特地選了晚上的航班飛來華沙，還提前預約了攜程的接機服務，衹希望早點到旅舍休息。 結果，到達已經晚上11點，大門口燈光昏暗，看不清密碼鎖，衹能求助客服。旅舍那邊遲遲沒有迴應，我終於進了樓，但因為不會用老式電梯，衹能走樓梯，還是那種走慢了就自動熄燈的……真的一度在黑暗裡被嚇到。 我又退到外面繼續聯繫客服，等到旅舍工作人員出現，沒想到上來就對我大聲呵斥，甚至指着我鼻子讓我閉嘴。我擋開他的手指，告訴他我衹是想早點休息，不想多説一句話。那時候已經快半夜12點了 。本來對這次旅行很期待，卻在深夜的華沙遭遇了這樣一幕。🥲除了這個7月24號值夜班的大男人服務態度惡劣之外，其他的2位員工不錯，房間的衞生都還可以，我不會因為這個惡劣的大男人而給旅舍惡意的差評，但是，我希望晚上入住的朋友們還是避雷的好，晚上大樓真的恐怖😱，有照片可查。
